This newly renovated building offers 27 short-term/corporate stay units. All the latest stuff: wood floors, stainless steel appliances, marble bathrooms, etc. - stylish, but the hard surfaces don't absorb sound very well. Secure building, upscale restaurant in the building. Find your own parking. The building is mid-block, so views are limited. It's at the north end of the Magnificent Mile away from most of the hullabaloo but still close to the action. We stayed here for a long weekend and found it fairly convenient to transportation and restaurants. Renovation still continues, but we didn't have any problems during our stay. On a return visit we would hope to find the unit more "complete" - paper towels, sponge, detergent in the kitchen, additional window coverings.
