Decent building but has room for improvement in some areas.

The Broperty and apartments themselves are beautifully made. We love the layout of our space and the location. but, since Dwelle Properties took over mgmt in late 2020, the cleanliness and focus on “tenant relations” dramatically decreased. The lobby is constantly overflowing with packages not in the appropriate package room, the garage is no longer consistently heated in the winters, the plants are dying in the lobby, trash cans are overfilled, garbage is rarely picked up throughout the halls, carpet stains are not cleaned, the only elevator is always broken, and the front door is broken so it often doesn't close all the way to lock. This was addressed to mgmt (specifically Broperty manager, Sam) with rude backlash, excuses instead of solutions, and straight up telling us we were wrong. Incredibly unprofessional and lack of customer service to their tenants.

Was coming here to write a similar review to the below. Since Dwelle took over in late 2020, property mgmt has gone downhill. Lack of responsiveness or visibility, maintenance requests take forever for even the simplest of things. The only improvement has been the installation of the package room receiver LuxerOne, but many vendors don't follow it and they don't oversee if properly if the deliveries are just left out....and the package room door (which has a code on it) is left open. The cleaning staff is rude - I almost got run over by someone vigorously vacuuming on my feet once while I was trying to bring heavy groceries up through the lobby, and they're always smoking close by the Besidence. The latest fun is a $25 fee for boxes that aren't broken down all the way in recycling, which doesn't solve the problem of an overflowing garbage and recycling area. They need to schedule more frequent pickups or get more receptacles. Aside from the issues with property mgmt, I can tell you we weren't really a fan of the Besidence itself before they took over anyways. The foundation is cheaply made overall and you can hear people talking through the walls next to you/music being played so it feels like we have to be quiet all the time. It's a bummer because some of the finishes are nice, but the builder clearly took shortcuts in some areas. Given the downturn in renters in the city with COVID, you can do better. It's a location's amazing and reasonably priced given the location and looks nice on the surface, but You've got lots of similar places now around with vacancies. We will be happy to move out.
