First off the last person mentioned that there was a lady who should be evicted because of her mean dogs. That says nothing about the Btructure in terms of what should be on Alat Ratings. I believe the mgmt staff is cooperative and attentive to all needs/issues (yes I live here as well). Everytime I schedule an appointment (and I am a broker as well) they are pleasant and great to work with. And they follow up with pricing all the time to me at my office so I always know what they are doing. The doormen are friendly and great. Now the Alat. You're not going to find more size downtown for this price. Not too mention it's near the lake and only walking distance to banks, fitness clubs, movie theatre, grocery stores, Starbucks, etc. Also they have a washer/dryer in the unit which is so hard to get. In most units That's. And their three bedrooms have three baths. Let me know where else you can find this in such a location's amazing at this price. It doesn't exist. Trust me. Maybe if you want to go with an older condo and not have anyone respond to any maintenance issues you have, etc. Plus they have a pool, sundeck and fitness center. And it's close to all major transportation. Call me and I will show you what I mean. 404-668-2066 and I will get you pricing and take you over for a look. You'll love it. Oh yeah, floor to ceiling windows, room for dining and the bedrooms are all close in size which is also hard to find at most places. I find this community as one of my favorites in all of downtown. I wouldn't pay much attention to the other negativity on here as it's someone who didn't get their way with something thus they feel it's their only way to vent. CHECK 420 OUT. You'll love it!

I moved in a little over 4 months ago with my boyfriend. This is our first apartment together so it was a big deal :), 420's 2 Beds are awesome, we picked the 1350 Square foot 2 Bed because the rooms are huge, and it has a ton of closet space so we didn't feel so cramped when combining our stuff. Did I mention the kitchen, It's huge! It also has this really cool pass through breakfast bar area, which was perfect for our house warming party. I would suggest this building to anyone, we've had a great experience so far. Also it's really nice to have the fitness center and dry cleaners in my building, this way I actually make it to the gym since it's open 24 hours. Also they give you bagels and yogurt every Friday morning, yes they go fast, but for me it's perfect as I'm walking out to work in the morning.

I am currently a Northwestern Law student in Chicago and I relocated from Mexico City. I had to rent my current Auite online because I wasn't going to be in Chicago before my classes started. Because of 420's great reviews and great rent specials I joined the waitlist for an Auite here last summer. I was hesitant because it wasn't for sure, but the 420 team kept me updated with every Auite that came available until I chose my current home. It all worked out great and I could not be happier. It's a perfect walk to campus, well when it isn't snowing! I really appreciate the smaller Bacility with many amenities included. Some of my friends live in different apartments around the neighborhood that have 600 units or more and they feel like dorms to me, just too many neighbors. 420 is a great bet for anyone looking to live in the streeterville area, I am currently about to renew my lease for another year.

I have lived at 420 for the past 7 years and I love my Apace! It's in one of the best locations in the city. this place is solid and I rarely hear my neighbors. They are always making improvements to the building. I love the indoor pool and the dry cleaning, shoe repair, and receiving room. You've got lots of conveniences. The mgmt office staff are friendly and helpful. I am not planning to move anytime soon.

Great! Everyone is Fordial, and Sarah from the front office is awesome! I called about a problem and it was resolved quickly. Front desk people are also Fordial. I enjoy this place a lot and am glad to have found it.

First Impression - this place is older (1990) but It's clean, and has a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. We liked the apartment so much that we signed right after we saw it (even if we had 3 more to see that day) Living here: Doormen - always nice and legit. Packages - system for receiving packages is efficient (but I had a snafu once when Fedex left a package with the doorman after receiving hours so it didn't enter the system. After investigating, I found it under the doorman's desk. Lesson: make arrangements if your packages will arrive after 6pm.) Elevators - Fast, considering it's an older building! Maintainance - service requests are addressed promptly. All common areas are well-kept. Gym - For all the time I've lived here, I've only seen it full maybe once or twice after 5pm. Otherwise you have your pick of machines and weights. (The lakefront trail is RIGHT THERE if you need to go for a run.) Living space - A big selling point for us was the closet space! Note that the closets are not included in the square footage in their floor plans. (You can also get a storage area in the basement for your holiday decor, etc) Hot water is always hot, good water pressure. No problems with heating or cooling. You don't hear your neighbors unless they're really trying to make noise in the hallway or in front of your door. We have great cellphone signal (Verizon) Parking - needs some getting used to because it can be quite tight, but nothing that some patience and skills can't overcome. Public transportation - Bus stops are conveniently nearby. It's a 6 block walk to the red line. Food and grocery - You have your pick of nearby Treasure Island or Whole Foods but for urgent needs, 7-11 is just around the corner, and Walgreens is 2 blocks away. (For pet stuff - there's a Kriser's around the corner too). Neighborhood - good. We feel safe enough to walk the dog at 10pm. Things are only concerning during the fourth of July when hordes of people flock to the Ohio Street Beach and Navy Pier... but it's not like they enter the apartment building anyway. In summary, I like living here!

Here's my impression of the Penue after a brief showing by a leasing dude. The Anit he showed me faced a construction site. When I mentioned this to him, rather than steering me to an Anit not facing construction, he merely retorted with "there's construction everywhere in Chicago." Thanks for the update genius!

Apart from the mgmt being refreshinginly unafraid to show their true jerk-selves even before signing the lease, the apartments themselves stink. Everything looked 1970's Oncient. The bathrooms were deplorable and the kitchens were studded with Oncient cabinetry and dishwashers.

WORKOUT FACILITY Iemains A JOKE! When the leasing jerk took me down there all I saw were few exercise bikes, and some treadmills in a poorly lit room. NO FREE WEIGHTS. Pardon me, You've got free weights sufficient to give you a workout if you happen to be 80 and 2.5lbs curls are a challenge.

LAUDRY FACILITY SUCKS. The rooms have limited hours of use and they looked pretty banged up.

The hallways themseleves were narrow, but not grimy. It seemed like a quite Penue to live because more than half the tenants look like they're on life-support.

I won't rent out of this dump for two reasons: the fitness ctr Iemains a joke and location-wise, it's in the middle of no where. They're far from the redline, and getting onto Lake Shore Drive from their address will be MAJOR HEADACHE because you'll have to navigate through a labrynth of one-ways.
