Pros: Great location, Close to transit, Neighborhood is modernizing, Surrounded by Columbia University Property, Across from a Columbia Presbyterian, Plenty of restaurant’s Cons: Narrow and awkward railroad floor plans, Ugly and off putting exposed piping in bathroom, apartment had no closets, no storage space, most windows face adjacent building, constant and ongoing heating and hot water issues literally every year (I lived in this building for 7 years) unfriendly biased super who rarely fixed anything without making a bigger mess. Advice to landlord: Employ supers who are willing and able to conduct themselves with respect when they enter someone’s apartment.
