Very little noise control between apartments, either adjacent or above or brlow. Otherwise good location if you like feeling you’re not inNYC but with easy access to public transportation. Upstate Manhattan

I don’t have much comment, just have to say it is a wonderful neighborhood, the only issue is that there are no commercial establishments in the area like grocery store, it is a long walk for a senior citizen.

Quiet, clean, nice neighbors. Clean building. Responsive live in superintendent. David was a great person who got me in touch with the property. He was quick and informative on the property and location. It is super close to the parks, my work, and the inwood farm restaurant. Nice elevator and in building laundry that works efficiently!

600 W. 218th provides modern spacious apartments in a well-maintained art-deco building right at the edge of Inwood Park with convenient access to both the A and 1 subways and major bus lines. Entrance to the 7 story building is from both Indian Road and West 218th Street. The established, popular restaurant and coffee shop Inwood Farm occupies part of the ground floor. Columbia University’s athletic facilities and Muscota Marsh, a restored tidal and freshwater wetland park, are directly across 218th Street. Ample benches and wood decking provide a wonderful place for a morning coffee or afternoon stroll.

Inwood is a very accessible neighborhood that's why it is so popular to live in, trains , buses, metro north, Henry Hudson bridge etc. Im not sure when they build all the new housing and no new way to get out how that's going to be?? We'll see

NOTE: SOME FACTORS THAT THE MANAGEMENT SHOULD ADDRESS: 1) Contact Parks Dept and Police to reduce the noise from loud parties at the park across the street, particularly during the summer. 2) Put railings alongside outside steps at 218th St entrance. These steps get slippery when wet or icy, and pose a risk. Railings can be placed on both sides of steps for those who choose to use them. 3) It would improve the building significantly if a secure bicycle area (in basement or in back yard/alley) was built.
