I have been living in this apartment complex for about six years now and to be honest lakeside is a realy nice place to live. people sometimes like to live like dirty animals and if you are that kind of person then do not live at lakeside towers. It is a nice a very clean place. The maintenance staff is very friendly and very helpful. Also they response the maintenance requests at the same day. And one more time :if you like to live the same dirty way you lived in your own contry Do Not Live Here at lakeside .

We payed 872 for a 2/2 apartment facing the lake and by the park. It was pretty spacious and for the price at the time ( 1999) for 660 it was worth it. In 2005 they began to do consturcution . forcing biclycles outside. We people woujld ride biclles , they would say you cannot ride on the street , and to ride on the sidewalk. And the managers rude non human being husband told a kid to get off the sidewalk this is not a park , this place continued to woursen. You get a non- compiliance for haveing one dirty dish in the sink , and if you soak your bathtub all day , just to disinfect it for whatevr reason , and they see it , they claim is is soap scum and its unacepptable. This place has a very rude lady named millie who never said hi back every time i said hi. The office staff was good , but the stirctness of this place means its only for people 65 DO NOT MOVE IN IF YOU ARE NOT 65 ONLY SENIORS WELCOME. NO TEENAGERS ALLOWED , this place is not welcome for kids and adolesence ,the manager is nosy , and complains about every little thing that goes on. If you park backward you get a lovely hard to remove sticker on your car drivers side window.

The front desk here at Lakeside doesn't care about security. They let anyone in.

I'm a resident of Lakeside Towers for 5 years. I live in building A and there is no complain about anything. The Maintenance people are friendly and anything that needed to be repaired in my apartment was done the same day, The people from the office are very kind. The rent is very cheap $730.00 for a 2/2 apartment. The security is OK. Even more they offer English classes, Arts and crafts for the kids, music classes, Bingo for seniors, etc., etc., It is a nice community.

Lakeside Towers is a great apartment community. I really don't have anything to really say that is bad about this community. The office staff is very nice, security is great! The pool is ALWAYS sparking clean. Landscaping is great! In fact they just made a new area where residents can BBQ. The playground is nice. The community is very clean. Our neighbors are very nice and extremely quiet. They have inspections every other month, but what I mean is just checking if your smoke alarms work but I have never had anyone tell me anything about my apartment. They staff here works hard in keeping this place looking nice and decent. I rate this A ! And its by far the greatest rent you'll ever pay in this area.

I live at LT. I love it, area, neighbors, office staff, maintenance. One area they should improve in is the non-compliance letters. Sometimes we don't have time to do dishes in the morning or we forget to take out the garbage maybe we spilt something on the carpet or we just didn't feel like washing the tub. If the apartment is well kept but you do a unanounced inspection and a few dishes were left in the sink, why not just have the cleaning crew wash them for me or clean my tub, it takes less time to rinse a glass then to write up the letter and have it hand delivered and mailed to my apartment. Read the letter, laugh a little (don't let it aggravate you) then throw it down the shute. Honestly, how many people do you know have gotten evicted for a dirty glass!!!!!!!
I KNOW, FIRST HAND, THAT "HOUSING COMMUNITIES" HAVE BEEN BUILT AND LT IS STILL WORKING ON A GUARD HOUSE. WTF????

To begin, I chose this place because its cheap $715 for 2/2. The staff was friendly and always tried to answer any questions I had. However, before I moved in they could not provide me with how big the apartment was. I am a person who likes space. The apartment is definitely not spacey, more like cramped. Especially if you plan on having a roomate. The guest bedroom is about 9'X10' and the master is 10'X12' ish. The water pressure for showering not very good much less, the hot water runs out in 10 minutes...and the tub clogs constantly. I'd rather plunger it myself than pay the maitenance $10 to do it while I'm not home, and not have things missing from my apartment. Oh, packages are left at your door. And there are 12 apartments on my floor. I had ordered something on ebay and never got it.
Since I moved in the place has been under construction, the pool area looks nice but I still have yet to be able to use it. The complex is just now starting to look nice. Parking is always bad. There aren't any lines for people to follow by, and there is rarely anyone who attempts to conserve space for other parkers. So every night I come home around 12 and have to park quite a distance...if there is any parking? Oh yeah, two nights ago, someones brand new nissan altima caught fire from "no where".
The complex has done inspections of the apartments, and I recieved a notice of non-compliance for dirty guest bathtub and dirty drip pans. After reading the letter I looked at my roomates bathtub...a bar of soap was sitting on the bottom of the tub. I looked at my stove top after cleaning the pans with bleach...and they are "still dirty". One of the pans is stained from overuse, but not dirty. According to them I am in violation of my lease and that I need to buy new ones. And buy new ones again in two months becuase my lease is up. Rediculous.
I agree with person who mentioned the hurricane ordeal. We were told not to do anything to prepare for the hurricane, but they recommended that we evacuate the premisses.
All the little things add up. From comming from broward county to dade...I am very frustrated with the people that live in my area. If you dont speak spanish, shopping at the grocery store is even a task for me. There is a lot of traffic down here too. So be aware.
My boyfriend called this place "Fakeside Towers"

Office staff in general is kind and professional but the assistant manager is a horrible human being, not kind, very rude and very unprofessional. If all residents that are been mistreated by her for years would complain, I'm pretty sure that she would be fired and probably fined.
