Can't beat the location. I've lived here for almost two years. Everyone pretty much keeps to themselves. The new manager we got this past year is super nice and very responsive to any issues. Secure parking, too.

I moved to LA from Seattle, WA last year and between the high cost of rent and poor quality of apartments, I was lucky to have found Playa Marina Apartments. Joyce, the manager was so kind and attentive to my needs and concerns; she went out of her way to make sure I had everything I needed. On the rare occasions when maintenance was needed, Joyce was always available to make sure the problem was handled promptly and efficiently. I have been comfortable living at Playa Marina Apartments, and am happy that Joyce is at the helm overseeing the property.

Very obvious that the MANAGER is writing these ... Two anonymous reviews in one day "raving" about how good the Manager is ... Usually people who are reviewing in a positive manner are not afraid to show who they are...

I moved to Playa Marina Apartments because I work in the area and it is convenient. The building has no real amenities, except for the underground parking, but it is well kept and clean. I have very quiet neighbors, which is something I really appreciate. And I love being close to the beach, which is not crowded and very clean.

If you don't mind noise at all hours to which you cannot sleep LIVE HERE! All the units are packed in like sardines and you can always hear your neighbors along with the six lane highway out front. The unit has outdated barely up to code appliances and fixtures and no extra storage space. Take the time to walk through and this will all be apparent. The laundry appliances are constantly down and probably aren't industrial to begin with. Forget about complaining to management. The kid in the managers office doesn't care let alone will ever respond. Have to get the hell out of here...
