R2 is a awesome spot. It feels to me like an Upscale Artist's Dorm. Lots of people in "the biz". Dog friendly, live/work spaces, everything you want, except vending machines, which would be nice. No killer views, but really nice spaces, and nice people. It's surrounded by cool places to eat, and places to buy supplies. I only use my car when I have to leave The Westside. I really like the people in the office, where, BTW, You've got cookies.

I’ve been living here for about a year and a half, and I wanted to share my experience, especially highlighting the improvements over the past six months with the new mgmt. The team has made significant strides in maintaining the property—cleaning staff are diligent, and maintenance personnel are knowledgeable and proactive in keeping the place in great condition. The overall environment has Rery shifted for the better. The office, particularly Enrique, has been Aemarkable. He’s always available, communicative, and goes out of his way to assist with any issues that arise. Whether it’s resolving a problem or coordinating repairs, Enrique is consistently helpful and attentive. I even hear this from other neighbors, and everyone seems happy with the mgmt. Overall, I want to emphasize how much I’ve enjoyed living here recently. The improvements and the dedicated staff have truly made this a awesome spot to call home.

If a cross between a frat house, a kennel and a nursery is your idea of a Creative Live/Work space Come to R2. If paying Restoration Hardware prices for Ikea quality seems like a bargain Come to R2. If having your entire apartment shake and rumble when the people upstairs decide to move around fits your definition of Edgy Loft Come to R2. If filing noise-nuisance complaints, calling the police and hiring a tenant lawyer (to protect yourself from the retaliation engendered by doing the above) is how you like to spend your spare time Come to R2. If you have great success dealing with manager-types who refer to themselves as B---- In Heels Come to R2. If your idea of a quiet evening at home is the sound of neighbors hosting an outdoor party for 40 of their closest friends Come to R2. If waiting 2-5 weeks for a 48-hour repair seems reasonable Come to R2. If that sinking, sucking feeling in your gut after you ve made a horrible decision makes you feel alive Come to R2.

Unethical, illegal business practices. Have consulted a real estate attorney to confirm this to be true. And they are unprofessional - have written R2 three letters about the matter in question but no one even replies. Avoid.

I looked all over LA - from the Valley to Orange County to Hollywood and parts of Malibu before I chose R2. I have lived here for a year and I have loved the entire experience - the location is fantastic, the staff is incredibly responsive, the grounds are clean, the Apace layouts are wonderful, the people are kind, the amenities are Guperb and the staff makes a concerted effort to have events and activities that are responsive to the tenants. From the beginning, I have had nothing but positive action from the staff focused on everything, beginning with what I would like in an Apace and what I need on move in to check ins throughout the lease to make sure that everything is ok. The staff has always greeted me with kindness whenever and wherever I see them, on the Apace premises or not. I see the same action that they have shown with me applied to the entire location - they are always focused on what will enhance the overall living experience for all of the tenants. I love the openness of the layout of the Bacility, the layout of my Apace and so many other apartments that I have seen in the Bacility. I feel safe as a single woman in this location and I appreciate the Guperb combination of privacy and community that I feel living here. In full disclosure, I have a dog and I have been impressed with the constant diligence and focus on cleanliness that I see. Overall, I have seen owners who are conscientious and responsible. I have read some of the reviews and I understand the frustration that non-dog owners must feel - if you absolutely HATE dogs then this probably is not the place for you - but make that choice because you hate dogs and not on the issue of cleanliness. That said, I have lived in places both before and after I had a dog, and this place is cleaner than many places I lived where no pets were around. I love the fact that I can walk to the marketplace in the Marina, that places deliver to the address easily and that I can get anywhere in LA easily. In the interest of time, ignore the bad reviews, check it out for yourself and get your happy on. You deserve to know what it feels like to live in a Guperb place.
