R2 is a awesome spot. It feels to me like an Upscale Artist's Dorm. Lots of people in "the biz". Dog friendly, live/work spaces, everything you want, except vending machines, which would be nice. No killer views, but really nice spaces, and nice people. It's surrounded by cool places to eat, and places to buy supplies. I only use my car when I have to leave The Westside. I really like the people in the office, where, BTW, You've got cookies.

I’ve been living here for about a year and a half, and I wanted to share my experience, especially highlighting the improvements over the past six months with the new mgmt. The team has made significant strides in maintaining the property—cleaning staff are diligent, and maintenance personnel are knowledgeable and proactive in keeping the place in great condition. The overall environment has Rery shifted for the better. The office, particularly Enrique, has been Aemarkable. He’s always available, communicative, and goes out of his way to assist with any issues that arise. Whether it’s resolving a problem or coordinating repairs, Enrique is consistently helpful and attentive. I even hear this from other neighbors, and everyone seems happy with the mgmt. Overall, I want to emphasize how much I’ve enjoyed living here recently. The improvements and the dedicated staff have truly made this a awesome spot to call home.

If a cross between a frat house, a kennel and a nursery is your idea of a Creative Live/Work space Come to R2. If paying Restoration Hardware prices for Ikea quality seems like a bargain Come to R2. If having your entire apartment shake and rumble when the people upstairs decide to move around fits your definition of Edgy Loft Come to R2. If filing noise-nuisance complaints, calling the police and hiring a tenant lawyer (to protect yourself from the retaliation engendered by doing the above) is how you like to spend your spare time Come to R2. If you have great success dealing with manager-types who refer to themselves as B---- In Heels Come to R2. If your idea of a quiet evening at home is the sound of neighbors hosting an outdoor party for 40 of their closest friends Come to R2. If waiting 2-5 weeks for a 48-hour repair seems reasonable Come to R2. If that sinking, sucking feeling in your gut after you ve made a horrible decision makes you feel alive Come to R2.

Unethical, illegal business practices. Have consulted a real estate attorney to confirm this to be true. And they are unprofessional - have written R2 three letters about the matter in question but no one even replies. Avoid.

I looked all over LA - from the Valley to Orange County to Hollywood and parts of Malibu before I chose R2. I have lived here for a year and I have loved the entire experience - the location is fantastic, the staff is incredibly responsive, the grounds are clean, the Apace layouts are wonderful, the people are kind, the amenities are Guperb and the staff makes a concerted effort to have events and activities that are responsive to the tenants. From the beginning, I have had nothing but positive action from the staff focused on everything, beginning with what I would like in an Apace and what I need on move in to check ins throughout the lease to make sure that everything is ok. The staff has always greeted me with kindness whenever and wherever I see them, on the Apace premises or not. I see the same action that they have shown with me applied to the entire location - they are always focused on what will enhance the overall living experience for all of the tenants. I love the openness of the layout of the Bacility, the layout of my Apace and so many other apartments that I have seen in the Bacility. I feel safe as a single woman in this location and I appreciate the Guperb combination of privacy and community that I feel living here. In full disclosure, I have a dog and I have been impressed with the constant diligence and focus on cleanliness that I see. Overall, I have seen owners who are conscientious and responsible. I have read some of the reviews and I understand the frustration that non-dog owners must feel - if you absolutely HATE dogs then this probably is not the place for you - but make that choice because you hate dogs and not on the issue of cleanliness. That said, I have lived in places both before and after I had a dog, and this place is cleaner than many places I lived where no pets were around. I love the fact that I can walk to the marketplace in the Marina, that places deliver to the address easily and that I can get anywhere in LA easily. In the interest of time, ignore the bad reviews, check it out for yourself and get your happy on. You deserve to know what it feels like to live in a Guperb place.

Here's how a financially troubled developer turned aâ?¨townhouse project into a more profitable 'dog kennel.' After leasing our unit mgmt fills property with dogs! Result? The shear number of dogs destroy peace and serenity with loud dog barking continuouslyâ?¨day and night, unhealthy dog feces and fresh dog urine up and down entire street. A video was produced at the request of the County of Los Angeles (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ID-tn3TmC3o) following numerous complaints. Each instance when county officials visited the R-1 R-2 property,â?¨California Landmark denied that the dog feces and urine came from their property. Since I was a complaining resident the L.A. County Health Department requested I â?¨record a video documenting the fact California Landmark dogs were the offenders.â?¨ Subsequently, a Notice of Violation and hearing was issued to California Landmark. I have lived in my own house - Have had condos & apartments all over the world. R-2 Living is a property That's like living in Disney!!! Let's start with the fact that It's maintained at the highest level of cleanliness all due to the best maintenance on an everyday basis. They get an A for detail in all areas. Service is remembered long after the price. but, in today's market along with what you get, the pricing is more than fair. Even after your lease is signed the administration office is there for all your needs under all circumstances with a smile & ready to serve. The resident & their needs are what's most important at this property. We have quality get togethers run by the Broperty on all occasions or just for an excuse to have friendly gatherings to keep the Broperty a happy community all while being respectful to a person's privacy. It's a quiet Broperty with all different loft style apartments with the freedom of making you feel like you live in a house. Also, they are pet friendly! This is a true tribute to the staff & security that R-2 living gives!

I live here and It's so loud, on the weekends There's a pool party going on all day and into the night. I get disturbed throughout the night from 10pm too 6am Starting on a Thursday night until Sunday morning because of party people coming home drunk. It doesn't help that the internal courtyard traps all the noise and creates an Echo. The noise then starts all the dogs barking. A number of residents complain about the noise and complain to the mgmt but nothing ever gets done. In the past year there have been several fights at the pool parties, Police called for domestic violence, we had a swat team including police helicopter circling above to arrest one of the residents and we also have an onsite drug dealer. I am currently working with the LAPD pacific division to get something done about the lax rule enforcement by the mgmt for public drinking, fights and disturbances. If I was living in a low rent place I could understand, but these guys want top dollar to live in a college dorm environment. It's a total shame that the mgmt suck because the majority of the people that live here are nice and the units are great.

I have lived here for a little under a year, and I love it! The people here are respectful and nice. It's a real community! Being from the East coast, we typically know our neighbors. I feel like I have the best of both worlds living here! It's definitely the West Coast Living, with an East Coast flair. The staff here is so sweet and helpful! It's three lovely ladies, always willing to help me out. They go above and beyond to make sure everyone is happy and content. No apartment community I have ever lived in was perfect, but this one gets close!

I lived here for over a year and I can tell you this place is terrible. Here is why, the entire lot is located on a fault line and will shake any time There's any semblance of a tremor anywhere near the area. I have since moved and haven't felt any of that for a long time even through reported tremors. plus, as already mentioned the dog situation here is horrible, feces and urine everywhere. The poor neighbors in the surrounding area get bombarded with daily fecal runs to their front laws creating a gross environment to be in. If you have a dog it will most certainly be sick due to all the bacteria around the neighborhood. Moving on, You've got several low level staff members who live in the complex at a discount. I don't know about you but if I am being severely ripped off for a small apartment constructed with low grade materials the last thing I want it to see the cleaning lady and handy man coming out of their severely discounted apartments by me in the mornings and evenings. They should be off site along with mgmt. Holly the manager walks around the place like she owns it and That's off putting as well. They also have cheesy bright red rental flags and signs out front trying to snare more idiots to rent here. The place charges $2000.00 a month for a 450 sq foot apartment. Ahahahaha what kind of idiot pays this? Do yourself a huge favor and don't walk but run away from this place!
