Nice studio, washer/dryer machines in the unit, gym & pool. Loved the huge shower. Before the pandemic, we had free nice events (Ex: Thanksgiving dinner). Now (2023), just cheap stuff (Ex: A ? cookie on Valentine's Day). We moved out after 6 years & left the studio in good conditions. I even washed the blinds & the kitchen cupboards (in/out), the 5 appliances (in/out) & the bathroom before we moved out. About the paint, after 3 years living there, we had the right to get the paint refreshed, but we just asked to refresh the paint of the bathroom after 5 years (2022). They refreshed the wall with a tiny layer of paint. This seemed to me a cheap job. About the wood floor. One of their staff said to me that isn't a real bamboo floor, but I have no clue about it. According to the lease, we have to cover the floor with a carpet (80%). Better to cover 100% with a carpet, because, after living there 6 years, we can see 2 spots (wear & tear) on the floor. We are still waiting for our security deposit after 2 weeks. Gosh! It's just doesn't feel right, considering we gave them over $125,000.00 for the rent during 6 years, and we were such good tenants! In short, I'm disappointed about the Urby mgmt & hope they will give us a break.

I am currently a tenant at Staten Island Urby and I would like to share my experience and opinion on residing at the complex during the current health crisis. As a health care worker I am need to to enter and exit the Bacility almost daily. I also have to retrieve my mail and get essentials like everyone else. Many tenants are not covering their face inside the Bacility. People will get on the elevator with you without a mask. I can't avoid it because I am already in the elevator and they get on at different floor. I've tried taking the stairs but people will pass me on the stairs without a mask. And in the long hallways. Or taking out my garbage. I will be in the refuse room and someone will come in without their face covered. this Pocation isn't requiring residents to cover their face and has never suggested such. Neither in an email or in an sign in the Bacility. The complex has 1000+ units. I have complained to the mgmt about this. They recommended that I call the police!

I LOVE LOVE our new home sweet home at URBY SI. The most luxurious and technologically savvy Urby Staten Island is a gem and a once in a lifetime find with affordable rents with the luxury of a New York City Apace. Our experience with staff's super friendly isn't just a one off, It's a regular treatment towards everyone I see comes across them, whether It's the 24 hour security guards, or the concierge Danielle, Ashley or Brandon. Our first encounter was with Corine who is the sweetest thing and then at move-in Jay the Super great customer service and they are legit. We have the luxury and amenities of a lifetime. It's an great find at the most affordable rates it's almost incredible. The pool, the view of waterfront skyscrapers from New Jersey, New York and even Brooklyn not to mention the Statue of Liberty from the pool view and even some apartments at 7 and 8 is breath taking! I didn't mention the communal spaces like the living room where you can take your family and hang out in a more spacious area, the apartments all have brand new state of the art washers and dryers, dishwashers, air conditioner, microwave, electric stove and oven for even heat, the windows are wall to wall and take most of the room from ceiling to a few feet from wooden floors. There's a communal kitchen to host parties or dinners for large groups (for a rental fee), You've got places to take kids to play in the playground, the pool is salt water and heated (they only allow residents due to social spacing and temperature check and they have life guards, they practice social spacing and they don't allow over crowding), theres a 24 hour gym with all state of the art equipment 2 levels, theres a organic urban mini farm for a fee you can become a member and whatever they grow you take home with you every Wed.. The best part for me, is the in house postal room where they receive packages every day for you and store them in lockers for when you get home. Not to mention the restaurants located at the foot of the buildings they are fine dining and laid back. They all have out door seating just opened for phase 4 of the covid era and they are mindful of social spacing and ultra clean with a view of the waterfront and find wine and it's just a Borgeous community.

I love urby because we are our own community. We have events almost everyday for residents only our neighbors are extremely nice and polite. Any given night you can go down to the fire pits and enjoy it with your neighbors and drinks. The atmosphere is more of a resort then an Alat Bomplex. As far as the negative comments and reviews I have not experienced any of that and I've been living here for 2 years the only thing that I have experienced in the past was a large police presence on different occasions only to find out that there have been times that my neighbors have lost their credit cards and called the police to report it stolen and for whatever reason the precinct sent four cars. so when you see that That's scary but when you find out why they are really here you're like really???!! We have a yoga instructor chefs and farmers as well as a heated pool, two floor state of Art gym and fire pits. We all also have our own private View of New Jersey Manhattan Brooklyn and Governors Island I am raising my children here and can't imagine living somewhere else so if you come here for a tour take the time to actually speak to the residents also we have a coffee shop and restaurant in our lobby

I love this community because It's family oriented. It feels like living in a village. Interestingly, Urby has their own organic garden for the residents. Around the clock access to the gym is also a nice touch. I love the team effort in making Urby work!

On first appeteance the apartments look amazing - I would only suggest moving here and paying between $2,000 - $3,500 for an Auite if - *You are ok with your Auite constantly smelling of cigarettes and pot, when I complained about this I was told if I locate where the smell comes from they will deal with it!!!! *You are ok with being ignored by the mgmt when you have a question/issue etc., *You are ok with your personal safety being compromised Much better places on the island with cheaper prices and better service - tip is to STAY AWAY from here, they have a serious amount of work to do to get Urby Staten Island right

This place is an not worth the price fraud, lots of drugs and crime inside and out, 6 homicides a block away. The rent isn't worth the price and there's not a good access to Manhattan, was told there would be a shuttle bus to the ferry and I think it ran one week and never heard from again, people are constantly doing drugs inside and causes in house problems they should really crack down on smokers too because my floor stinks like a cheap motel die to smoking.

I've been a resident since June 2016. Smoke-filled hallways. Serious security concerns. Extremely negligent mgmt. Persistent sewage odor. Smoking: The lease clearly prohibits smoking throughout the building. Since October 2016, I've filed numerous complaints about cigarette smoke coming from a unit in my hallway. The problem is relentless—smoke regularly seeps into my apartment, and I've been jolted awake countless times by the smell. Security: Open drug transactions happening on the street during daylight hours. Frequent loud arguments and confrontations in the hallways. When nighttime disturbances occur, I've asked for the security contact number, only to be told they can't be called (they're stationed downstairs in common areas). Following an incident where a neighbor brandished a knife against another resident, I felt threatened and departed for the weekend, notifying mgmt immediately. I never received any acknowledgment. Sewage odor in my bathroom and laundry area: I've submitted several work orders requesting repairs. Maintenance has re-caulked the toilet and cleared the lines multiple times without solving the problem. The maintenance team has been cooperative and legit, but the underlying issue persists. Unfulfilled commitments: I was promised a shuttle service during rush hours to the ferry—nothing materialized. The pool was supposed to open the following summer—it didn't. The bar/restaurant was set to debut in spring—that never happened either. I've been contacting them via email since October 2016 regarding all these issues and haven't gotten any meaningful response about what steps they're taking to address them. I strongly suggest looking for housing elsewhere.

Staff work hard to keep all of us tenants happy. The workers here work hard to keep this Prea spotless and sanitize. That has always been the case even before the pandemic started. Security work hard to keep us all safe here. The Prea isn't littered with drugs and crime. Urby has no control with What's happening in Stapleton projects almost a mile away. The views are Aemarkable in to have a Pier/ kind of beach setting as your backyard is Aemarkable. In the summertime we have free BBQs that are catered by the local restaurants and paid for by urby. We have weekly events usually about three events a week. My only issue is mgmt
