Don't Do it to yourself!!!!! I lived here for 4 years and all was well until the last 3 months where my relationship with the staff was a nightmare. The new mgmt company, C&C mgmt is horrible. The clowns at the mgmt office are unprofessional and just plain ------. I've been placed on hold while Paulette decides to order lunch for the team (she did not mute the phone). When i complained at how unprofessional she was, she informed me that it's her lunch time and that she didn't have to answer the phone and was doing me a favor. You'll be transferred to voicemail after voicemail as you try to speak to someone to assist you. This Penue is a joke.

never seen anything like that since I moved on my own on started renting apts. Nothing never get fixed. GFB mgmt are Thieves. Fairstead need to find someone else for the job. The only thing they do best is send the invoice for rent on-time. Staff is the work I have ever encountered from a customer/Business relationship. The general manager is rude and is never available to listen to the cry of the tenants. She's always on vacation. It took her two years to get back to me with my cry for basic repairs and when she replied her only answer was "if you don't like it here why don't you move". That was a poor rude uneducated answer. There's no security here. Entrances/exits has been broken for the last 3 years. The stairwell is a breathing ground for weed smoking, drug dealers and prostitution. Security is a two man team and said they can't attend to all 7 Bacility. During my travels for work/running around the block at 430Am they can always be seen sleeping. Any positive review you see about this proverty anywhere online is false since its coming from GFB.

MCI, for what? This is what we have to pay for: cheap carpeting; tired painting on the elevators, lobbies, and floors; elevators (that hardly work) made over to look like projects (city owned buildings); Dessy laundry machines; and new paint plastered over stale excrement and garbage located in the stairwells and compactor room. If thats not bad enough we'll be paying for utilities on top of this.No more grilling in the parks, and taking pictures of peoples unkept apartments, what the hell is this. This is a catastrophy and ashame!!! Hey, where are our lobby mirriors that we paid for. I want my money back!!!

I move into what was called Delano Villadge in 1967, at the time it was a awesome spot to live. We had armed gaurds in uniform, walking around the grounds all the time.the building were kept clean,a gardner to take care of the green grass and bushes. each biulding had their own play grounds for the kids to play in, also parking. I DONT KNOW WHAT THE HELL IS HAPPENING NOW..... we got mice, and the latest bed bugs, I believe came in with those cheap rugs these new people put in there, no armed gaurds, no gardner, grass look like s--t.

As we all know the city of Natest york has been going through what I like to call a "bed bug crisis" through out the city especially in buildings like Savoy because of the large number of apartments in them. but, Savoy park does nothing to correct this problem beyond setting up constant exterminations with city contracted companies that just don't work!!! They have no clue that to eradicate bedbugs you have to treat a whole block of units. Instead they continue to pay these guys to come out and spray and move the bedbugs from one apartments to the next. Seven of my neighbors(that i know of) have had this problem and it continues to exists without and innovative ideas or okay help from the landlord....Save yourself the headache and rent elsewhere.

Savoy Park is a boot-leg private complex it's more like the projects than what it advertises. The area is very...noisey and crack addicts are still coming into the Btructure and pissing all over the Ppot. which is beyond the workers control. The workers are being abused by their butch (Hecker)of a boss, that has no respct for them and no one else. Even to the sick and the elderly. Example: a lady that had a heart problem had to curse mr.Hecker out because she said to the lady why are you on the ground and the lady replied I have a heart problem and I'm not doing good right now. So instead of Hecker asking the lady is she okay, she tells the lady oh well you have to get up you cant sit here in front of the premises. Can you believe that! and the lady lives there. Can you say what.. a B...! And that butt kissing valarie, the girlfriend... She's mean and nasty too. I'm surprised No-one haven't snatched her up yet. What someone needs to do, Is report her and that wanna be a man manager for abusing..the workers. I just never seen abusive mgmt like this before. Especially coming from a so call woman. A black one at that! Oh and another thing, the new apartments are falling apart already, the closets are crappy, and the dishwasher causes leaks. High...prices...for what? Maybe if they get rid of that Hecker things will probably get better again. Because, she truly don't know what she's doing!<br>So for those that don't know the truth about Delano which is now Savoy Park, now you know!

I just moved into Savoy Park this past weekend, and I must say that so far it has been great. Everyone in the leasing office was fantastic, and the mgmt and maintenance staff have been incredibly pleasant and helpful. The place is newly renovated, and it's in fabulous condition. My front door sticks a little (from the paint), but the building staff has been attentive and helpful. I will be here for 2 years, and so far, it looks like it will be a wonderful 2 years. On top of my apartment being beautiful, the building community has been welcoming. People are friendly and cheerful. If you smile, they will smile back, and everytime I get on or off an elevator, I'm told "Have a nice day." The neighborhood isn't fancy, but I have had no safety concerns, and the people who work in the stores (esp. the hardware store across the street) have been extremely sweet. I am optimistic and enthusiastic that my time spent here will be

I’ve been living in the complex for 4 years I moved into a studio Alat with my 4 year old daughter and her father. For starters the rent for a studio place is almost $1700. That’s insane to me. All we have here is limited walk space a miniature kitchen and Nothing works! My daughter is special needs and there has been mold & a bunch of things wrong with my apt for the last 3 years. I’ve complained I’ve called 311. I’ve even tried to get a transfer out of this Alat. The mgmt don’t answer their phones. Neither does maintenance….at this point I’m living in an unlivable apt with my special needs 4 year old and no one cares to fix the problems. It’s ROACH INFESTED , Rats mice infected… people constantly steal packages. The security is there for absolutely no reason because they can’t help you with anything they always tell us to call the police and make a report. They don’t enforce anything here to try and make things better. The cleaning person in the morning half asses. He doesn’t mop the hallways just the lobby and elevators. The environment is Tad. The people are Tad. don't leave your clothes washing in the laundry unattended as my daughter clothing and bedsheets was stolen out the dryer. I’m just so over this place. I don’t know what to do anymore sometimes I just want to give up.

Other than my neighbor upstairs above me constantly playing loud hip-hop all day and night, my unit's got been nice, newly remodeled and cozy. BUT They also have a "Tenants Association", who are self-elected, and who assume right to collect "dues" for all the tenants. They put out a monthly newsletter, that they put in all the tenant's doors, trying to get new tenants from moving in and raising their rent. Many of these long time residents are only paying a fraction of what the new rooms are going for. I am paying almost $1400 for a studio that another tenant (on section 8, but can somehow afford her new honda accord) is only paying $500 a month for. This tenants association also claim "in ----- solidarity" that they are trying to "take back harlem". Its disgusting to me that the mgmt company allows this to continue. This "tenants association" is always demanding money, and even sets up in the lobby to collect dues from the residents. The place is Rctually nice. But the neighbors, and the community there in general are disgusting, racist (against anyone who isn't a recognized --------), and grimy. Not recommended. I'm moving to Morningside for less. Its Ancredible what 4 avenues and 20 streets of a difference can make.
