The neighbors were the best part of this building and the guy who’s job was to empty the trash. NOT the super. mgmt. They sold me on the idea that the apartment was quiet but in reality you could hear everything your neighbors were doing. It didn’t bother me much but I didn’t appreciate being lied to. Also, as soon as I moved in, I noticed the apartment wasn't properly cleaned. The walls had some stains and I found rust developing in the tub. On top of that, the tub was completely grimy from the previous tenant. I kindly brought it up to the super and was told that I should’ve said something before I signed the lease. When I went to mgmt, they brushed it off as if it was ok to have rust. It would expect low mgmt standards if my rent was inexpensive but it wasn’t. You justified my price because my kitchen got a new stove but it was missing a major piece. Also, don’t be cheap when your tenant asks to fix something.
