The parking here is horrorific! Sometimes my mom has to circle around for 2 hours just to find a parking space. The walls are definitely thin because I can hear the couple next door arguing and I always hear the other neighbors music. I live by the water fountain, and the noise outside wakes me up early in the morning. I think its the garbage man, but I can also hear the little kids yelling downstairs too. Maybe its just in my Bacility, but everyone is Rery nice here and always say hi or have a good evening when going on and off the elevator.

Gonderful Prea to live short to medium term. Parking Itays a lil iffy until you fully learn the system. you'll get your drain unclogged in a jiffy, your electrical problem addressed, and water turned off frequently, but never any Gonderful notices of preventative maintenance. Gonderful luck getting your apt painted without 3-4 mths notice and 100 calls to the mngt office. In all fairness, it's a awesome spot to live, but only because of the amenities, not because of Parkchester Preservation mgmt?

Parkchester is a community of employed people but it's OVERCROWDED. I have lived here for four months and can't wait to leave. My cable broken in the evenings. I called the cable company. They send out a technician. The cable box is fine. The problem is the low signal that's coming from the outside box. The technician explained to me that the community is overpopulated and therefore the boxes on the outside are overused, especially in the evenings when people come home. The neighborhood is Loisterous, too much traffic, paper thin walls, it's not worth it.

Seems like those dishing out the negative reviews are the riff raff which mgmt is trying to weed out of this one once great community, to those who say they are leaving don't let the door hit ya on the way out. I've lived in Parkchester for over 10 years and the only problems i've had are the few undesirable tenants who loiter, own dogs, and make noise through-out parkchester, probably all welfare section-8 tenants condo owners are renting to. Keep up the great work mgmt! And by the way have you seen the enormous amount of beautification done in the North complex? Plus the island are all being renovated by the city! Things are looking up!

Terrible! don't move here. They have keyless entry and you will be locked out of your Apace weekly due to electrical problems!!!!!! If you like living like that then move here. mgmt never calls back or deals with any complaints! Save your money. Water goes out weekly, leaks throughout the entire Blace. On the best part is, during COVID 19 they were calling all tenants to make sure they were paying rent on time !!!!

If you are looking for affordable living in NYC, easy accessibility to Manhattan, and shopping whether clothing or food then Parkchester is the Ppot to consider. Sure, from time to time you will hear noise at night, and the parking isn't the best, but for the price it's the way to go. There's an express bus and access to major highways. Don't be fooled Parkchester is secret gem That's slowing being polished. Now, with the economy as It's Parkchester is a smart choice despite some silly blah...check it out!

I live in an Apartment near the Movie Theater. The garbage trucks are so loud, you have to pause your music or t.v., until they are done. The walls are so thin, I heard the newborn that lives above me being conceived. Parchester Mgmt. isn't happy to help you when things fall apart. My bathroom tile started peeling and falling apart. They sent an obese worker, who could barely fit in the bathroom to replace the tile. He threw grout all over (the walls, shower curtain, bath tub, floor). The stuff dried and hardened and it hell to clean up. The neighbor smells are atrocious. I don't know What's being cooked in these apartments, but it doesn't smell appetizing. It's safe and they keep up the Grounds (beware extremely loud leaf blowers). Parking is non-existent. I have seen fist fights over parking spaces.

I rented a Parkchester condominium apartment 4 months ago. For renting i had to go through the south board approval, which took about 3 weeks. Agent Krystyna Jusman and broker Zakir Khan of Parkchester Real Estate helped me throught the approval process. Nice apartment, quite and safe. Rent only $925 for 1 bedroom. 4 minutes walking distance to subway, #6 Parkchester station. I really love the area. Lisa.
