Have lived here for almost 3 years now and keep renewing my lease for a reason. The level of luxury living for the price cannot be beat. Management and staff very friendly and responsive. A lot of them live here so they know the issues and care about fixing them. Have never had issues with repair requests. Love the amenities. Great view of downtown from the pool. Very pet friendly. Great location 10 minute walk to Hermann park, right next to metro which is easy to take downtown, and close to TMC so perfect for healthcare professionals working there.

We have been very happy over the past year. Stephanie has improved the quality of our experience tremendously. She handles stress very well, always pleasant and helpful, listens extremely well, very profesional-a lovely woman to have in her position. Her predecessor made living here unpleasant on a regular basis-

I am very glad I choose this property is a great experience but must of all the leasing agent was very polite courteous and professional she made it awesome I definitely recommend this property Neighbors are nice parking garage is spacious the view is incredible what more could you ask for

Great location and design. Good amenities. Interior care is poor (severely stained carpeting and tile in hallways has not been addressed for several years) and management communication is fair at best. Common areas are periodically cleaned but floors in and around elevators are often very dirty and no effort is made to respond even in areas visible to management on the first floor. Building has a history of significant water leak problems but recent modifications appear to have addressed the problems … finally. Time will tell. Common facility maintenance is poor, e.g., fourth floor freight elevator has not worked from parking garage for many many months and the response “ a part is on order” doesn’t sound sincere nor have updates been provided. On the other hand, responsiveness of maintenance to individual unit requests is excellent. Package delivery is chaotic. Storage area is not big enough and packages are occasionally lost with no way to trace an individual package receipt. Often all packages are not provided or packages for other tenants are handed to us. No Amazon locker. There is no regular newsletter, update from management, area news or tenant council. Although the building brags of apartments that can be rented for guest, there used to be eight and now there are only two, so they often are not available when you want them. We feel very secure in our apartment, but it is possible to move between floors using the the stairs undetected so we may be naive.. The elevators only go to assigned floors and we are in a high floor so a security breach is unlikely. There have been security issues in the parking garage and management has not clearly indicated what steps have been taken to correct them. I never see promised security in the the garage itself, and questions about the presence of cameras have never been answered. I don’t think they exist. Problems with overhead doors at the garage entrance often lead to them being left open, which creates a security concern on the valets are not present. The building has a lot of tenant turnover, and so it is hard to feel a sense of community, although there are several other long-term residents. High ratings are based on location and view from our apartment. They keep us here despite some concerns.

Love living at the Southmore! Convenient, beautiful, great mix of residents. The staff is super friendly and the manager is awesome. There are lots of amenities and planned events. Pet friendly. The communication is also excellent ~ whenever there are issues relating to the building.

The multiple water outages and power outages are extremely disruptive. It is a shame to pay such a premium in rent and not be able to live comfortably in your apartment. The Southmore is a lovely property with a great location and staff, but the outages are not worth it.

My biggest concern is lack of security… garage doors stay in disrepair and ‘up!’… anyone can get in - out of the garage and on to any floor through stairwell access. I have NEVER see any security monitoring who goes in- out when doors stay up.

It is a great diverse community although only marginally friendly. Apartments are well appointed and comfortable. The common spaces are nice - not sure if there are enough meeting areas. I've never used the pool or due to no dogs being allowed on the deck or on the 7th floor. The work out facility is nice and well equipped.

There are some nice people living here. I really do NOT enjoy the big dogs however & feel limits would be in order as to weight. Our Hall carpets should be shampooed & vacuumed more often. Elevator floors need more attention. Too much attention for cleaning is given ONLY to first & 7th floors!

We love this place. The ambiance is calm and elegant. The decor is fabulous with art around every corner. Our fellow residents are very classy and respectful community members. The view are lovely. Cherry on top - Great Staff!
