I had a great experience with this apartment complex. The property is well-maintained, and the staff is both professional and welcoming. Maggie, in particular, was outstanding, she’s a knowledgeable and courteous property agent who took the time to show me around, highlight the amenities, and answer all of my questions thoroughly. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a new home.

Rather disappointed in my experience, from move-in to actually living here. My apartment wasn’t ready on move-in day, my smoke alarm was beeping and I was told I had to wait 3 days for maintenance (went directly to management and it was handled promptly), my apartment was dirty (dirt marks on walls, stain on carpet, dirty and marked-up wood floor, urine stains on and around toilet seat/toilet, dried blood on baseboard around toilet. Also, can hear neighbors stomping/walking above and dragging furniture at various times of day, especially in the evening. You can hear, quite loudly, toilets flushing and the noise of the excrements traveling through the walls, in the bedroom. It’s so bad, I can actually hear my upstairs neighbors water collecting in the toilet for the flush and traveling through the pipes, and can also tell if it’s a “productive” exit by how loud and hard the water etc passes through the pipes. I have been utterly disappointed with this and it has affected my quality of life and health. Insomnia, wearing ear plugs and feeling dreadful as I come home from work because I have to deal with this. I brought it to managements attention several times and although nice, I don’t feel the matter was taken seriously. I expect more from a luxury property and it massively falls short. I would consider other options before choosing to lease here. My initial excitement has turned into sheer and utter regret.

The Southmore is perfectly situated in the Museum District, offering stunning views of the city. The property is beautifully maintained, and the management and staff are exceptional. We appreciate the convenient garage parking that allows us direct access to our units, and the valet service is fantastic. Being close to work adds to our comfort, and we truly feel welcomed, happy, and safe here.

My move-in experience was very fast and convenient, despite me moving in late at night. My apartment was beautiful and everything was maintained well. When I had questions shortly after moving in, a member of the leasing staff was easily contacted and answered my questions effectively. The valet service was also very helpful upon my move in. I was thankful for their assistance.

All staff including concierge are very kind and helpful. When I moved in, hurricane attacked and our apartment was damaged. But all staff was trying to do the best for every unit and could recover all issue in short term.

Overall, property is good. Noise level is perfect and mostly well kept in regards to cleaning common areas. Friendly staff and helpful when I have a request. A few areas of improvement: pool lights and grills. Last time I was in the pool, the pool lights were broken and floating in the pool. I submitted a ticket to fix grill so just waiting for them to be fixed.

I have lived here since 2019 and have developed a deep affection for the area. The building and its amenities are lovely, but I have encountered some challenges in the past two years. Thankfully, the manager has been able to address 98% of them. Knowing that the building and parking garage are secure brings me a sense of peace. Whenever something needs fixing, Stephanie is quick to take care of it. Security is my top priority, especially as a single woman living in a large city, the fourth largest in the country. It's difficult to consider leaving such a tranquil neighborhood with incredible views of the city's heart. Most residents here are either in the medical field or professionals. I can't stop thinking about David from the concierge and Mario from the valet. David has been here since I moved in, and Mario was very helpful and friendly. I can leave my car with valet, and they kindly help me with my groceries and bring everything up without any hassle. It makes me feel so special, like a princess. If you're looking for a place to call home in a bustling city but want it to feel like a tight-knit community with minimal noise and friendly professionals, then this top-notch high-rise building is where you want to be.

My experience has been good until the last year and a half, with issues such as weed smoke, noise, and break-ins. I moved to a different apartment frequently, and I still experience weed smoke sometimes. Also, the main concern is the loud noise from the elevator that is echoing through the apartment. Strangely, the noise started four months ago and has been getting louder every month.

All of the above describe my experience at The Southmore. I especially enjoy the proximity to Hermann Park and the museums and the mix of fellow residents from young professionals to retired folks. The manager is doing a great job of making sure this apartment building is a 5 star one.

Good but can always be better. The party room need to be checked before and after people use them. The ovens and warming trays were disgusting. The last time I used them. Need to continue to show ID we need to keep working on getting better.
