It's a great place! I enjoy living here, as there are lots to do nearby. The only thing I would recommend is to be careful with belongings. My truck was stolen, but that's the danger of living in a big city. The overall experience is pretty good.

My experience has been spectacular thus far ! The maintenance keeps the property up, the management is responsible and responds to your needs. Probably the best stay I have had thus far in Houston. Thank you

IDirty stairways, parking and garbage areas. Trash in the hallways for days and really noisy. It started off good but it's getting really horrible. It's becoming the hood Apartments to me and I have been here for years. Time for me to go and the rent is steady going up and the property is going down. Make that make sense.

The leasing office has been consistently rude and unhelpful, particularly Jolante, who has shown a dismissive and unprofessional attitude. Maintenance issues are often not addressed properly, which has made living here frustrating and stressful. Overall, management does not seem responsive to tenant concerns.

Three years ago, when I chose this community as my place to live, one of the main reasons was its cleanliness and the presence of responsible residents. Unfortunately, today the complex has become very dirty due to poor management. Except for the leasing office, the other floors are not cleaned at all?especially the parking garage, which has not been washed or properly cleaned for years. There appears to be no supervision or monitoring, and management has even refused to install security cameras in the elevators and on the floors. It seems that management is not concerned about these issues. The only priority appears to be renting out units, regardless of to whom they are rented. I have lived here for three years, and every year the rent is increased without clear justification. However, the lack of proper management and the unclean conditions of the complex have now become unbearable. I have also spoken with several neighbors, and they have expressed that they plan to move out once their leases end. Overall, I am very disappointed with the condition of the community and deeply disappointed with the weak management.

Wonderful community to be a part of. Close to the galleria , uptown , river oaks , 10 minute drive to midtown, all the great places for fun, entertainment and food. Wish I found MAA Afton Oaks sooner.

I have been here less than a year but so far so good. This is a dog friendly community, I'm not a fan of but it has not been an issue. I love the rent rate and the option of a storage room on the property. I am close to the freeway but the noise is not a problem for me. My neighbors are quiet. If I must complain it would be about the parking. There are cars that are parked here that I know they haven't moved in the 8 months I've been here. I honestly love living here.

I love living here! The area is peaceful and safe, and I feel completely comfortable walking at any time of the day or night. Every time I submit a maintenance request, they respond super quickly. I have no complaints, it's been a great experience! Office Staff super nice too !

Great staff and large apartments. Quite during the quiet hours and overall a clean area surrounding the apartments. Great area and close to most things and easy way to get on the highways. Would recommend

It is nice so far I just wish the community had a better coffee machine and was to fix the gym equipment when it brakes it's been awhile since something broke and never got fixed. Also took away the row machine I used everyday. :( besides that no complaints.
