I have lived here for over 5 years. I left due to having a baby and even came BACK I missed it so much. I LOVE Mrs. Rosie. It has always been a safe space for me. Maintenance is amazing. Every staff member is amazing. I have lived here through two managements and I am so thankful for Settlers Ranch.

DO NOT COME HERE! Coming here I was welcomed and treated nicely! There is new management. Marlene is great very sweet and understanding. The others or the one named “Rosie” Rosalina is horrible. Do not speak to her. She is very rude, shows favoritism. Lack of knowledge in her field! Even my neighbors speak ill about her. Very unprofessional, does not communicate well. Refuse to fix my AC, had to go days in the heat. I have a CHILD that had to endure that as well. Gave me the complete run around. Other issues are pools are always dirty, hot tub never works, they closed the basketball court/gym. Gate never works. My car has been broken into, there are random abandon cars left on the property. Front office never cared. At all ,said theyre gettin security . NEVER DID! Cats everywhere, fences around the building are destroyed. Barely cut grass Homeless people walk through all at night. UNSAFE for anybody. So many apartments are vacant cause there damaged. Roof damage/squatters, Water damages. BUT they want people to pay $1250 for this environment . Truly do not recommend anybody coming unless there is new management. Rats all in the back cause of the trash and trailers just sitting, theres a pond behind the complex they refuse to tend too. They do not make you feel comfortable at all or even try!!!!!

I did not get a chance to move in. I wanted to live there but I was scammed. On May 24, I tried to move in a 2 bedroom. I went to office to get key and sign lease. I Was presented with a 1 bedroom lease. I told them I applied for a 2 bedroom and she said I never told her that. They refuse to reimburse me. I Needed a 2 bedroom for my family.

I been here for 2 years and am about to move out. I'm in the process of buying a home. But the 2 years I lived here were good. Cheryl is the best. Nicest property manager i ever met. Little to no roaches unlike other apartments. Maintenance can sometimes take a while to get to you when you need something fixed but they do their job. Some of the nicest apartments in the area. And safe. I don't exactly like the area but I do feel safe in this complex and for the most part the residents are friendly

lived here for 3 years and would definitely recommend these apartments to anyone. very roomy, clean, nice, and very presentable. also in a great location, easy to find, plenty of restaurants near by and only 35 - 40 minutes from Galveston beach. 20 minutes from Kemah boardwalk and close to multiple malls. staff was excellent, freindly and very understanding to our needs. their maintenance department was very realable and met all my requests in a timely manner.

Property grounds are very nice clean cut, the office staff and I started off kind of rocky but with professionalism and communication they all made it possible for my mom to get an apartment in a timely fashion. The approval was fast and organized. I enjoyed the casual talk with the property manager whom is awesome might I add she went above and beyond to make my mom welcomed. My mom cant wait to move in she insisted on moving here and I helped her but most important the staff made that possible for her. I am looking forward to my mom moving in now. Thank you all so much for everything. I appreciate everything. As long as she is happy I am happy.

The leasing staff is very rude. Especially ---------. They act like you're an annoyance, they interrupt you, they contradict themselves, and they rush you off of the phone if you call to ask a question. Definitely not a pleasant experience. Helpful and friendly staff make all the difference, and that is something that is clearly lacking here. Not only that, but they don't even have a model apartment to show you, so make sure you don't happen to visit unannounced because they won't help you. I wouldn't live here if I were you.

My husband & I would have loved to lease a 1x1 at Settlers and although they had one available at the time we decided to look elsewhere. The area is prefect for our jobs and puts us right in between family & friends. For starters Settlers should consider updating their website, they seem very lazy in the leasing office, no guest cards to fill out, & no tour of the property. Prospective residents should not have to keep calling to see if a unit is available, a waiting list would also be great.

I've lived here for almost a year now. Overall, the apartment is good. The spacing is good and the prices are good. I don't have much of a problem with noise or parking either. And I like the pool too. The management staff is pleasant and helpful. Maintenance is pretty prompt too. And the residents are friendly. Also, I always feel safe here, no matter what time it is. Sometimes the gates break, but they always fix them quickly, even though it's pretty easy for visitors who don't live here to get in anyway. But, like I said, I always feel safe, regardless. It's not the most updated as far as appliances, but that wasn't really a top concern for me. It is 30 minutes from downtown, so if it's important for you to be close to that area this is not the place for you. And you will have a small roach problem if you don't keep up with pest control requests. Overall, I would recommend it for anyone whose biggest concern is just somewhere comfortable to live :)
