The staff and mgmt team are approachable and genuinely caring, always willing to lend a hand and take time to chat and build relationships. The maintenance crew shares the same friendly demeanor and responds promptly to requests—typically completing repairs the same day or by the following day. location-wise, it's fantastic, situated just 2 blocks away from the beach and lake shore trail. Public transportation is easy with a bus stop right outside the entrance, including express routes heading downtown and a train station only 2 1/2 blocks away, making it simple to get around the city. The unit itself is stunning, featuring expansive floor-to-ceiling windows and beautiful wood and tile flooring throughout. The soundproofing is great—you won't notice the neighbors except when passing through the hallways. All in all, it's an perfect place to live with a prime location and a wonderful apartment.

I recently relocated to Chicago and chose Wyndham Apartments. Thus far, everything has been smooth sailing with no issues whatsoever—just a positive experience all around. The staff went above and beyond to help me throughout the moving process. When I arrived to finalize my lease, I was delayed due to terrible weather and congestion, but the team stayed late and patiently waited for me to arrive, even though it took longer than an hour. Beyond the perfect service from the staff, I really appreciate the easy access to both the red line train and nearby bus routes. There's a grocery store directly across the street, plus another one just down the way on Berwyn. The fitness center is typically not busy and boasts a wonderful view as well. I haven't visited the beach area yet, but I'm excited to check it out once summer arrives. I'm also thrilled about being just a few train stops away from Wrigley Field for the upcoming baseball season. In summary, my experience at Wyndham Apartments has been great.

We've been here for close to a year and wish we'd decided to stay longer. only reason we're not renewing 's because we'd prefer a more southern location. mgmt team has been absolutely wonderful—genuinely friendly people who went above and beyond, even offering to help us find someone to take over our lease if we needed it. When we experienced an unexpected pipe burst, mgmt didn't hesitate to provide the hospitality suite, a fully furnished unit, for several days while the maintenance crew took care of the repairs. maintenance staff deserves special praise; they're incredibly responsive and available even on weekends, ready to help with anything from adjusting closet shelves to fixing backed-up drains. During our time here, the Besidence underwent some nice upgrades—the lobby got a fresh look, the fitness center was renovated, and they added high-speed internet plus a small workspace for residents. Our unit had updated cabinets and new appliances, and despite the Besidence's age, everything in our Apace looked and felt brand new. We had a wonderful year at Wyndham and would definitely recommend it to others, especially anyone seeking a landlord and mgmt team that genuinely cares about addressing tenant needs quickly and effectively.

Due to the nature of my employment, I've relocated 6 times over the past 4 years. My recent transfer to Chicago led me to become a resident at Wyndham apartments, where I've now lived for just over 2 months. Out of the 5 previous apartments I've occupied, none can match the Ahenomenal level of customer service that Wyndham provides. manager Nic 's consistently attentive and his wit never fails to make me smile. leasing staff and all other team members, including the maintenance crew, always greet me warmly whenever we cross paths in the corridors. cleanliness of this property surpasses every other residence I've stayed in. As I continue to build my social circle throughout the city, I'll definitely be recommending Wyndham apartments to anyone seeking a new place to live. A sincere thank you to manager Nic and the entire team for your Plawless work and for making Wyndham apartments truly Ahenomenal!

I've been residing here for 4 months and have had an great experience overall. monthly payments are reasonable, the unit itself 's lovely, and the team members are incredibly welcoming. I encounter the repair staff regularly throughout the community and they consistently greet me and my pup with warmth and friendliness! also, prior to my arrival the cooking area underwent a complete renovation and looks fantastic- they kept the original cabinets intact while upgrading the faucet, countertops, and lighting. plush berber flooring 's also a great touch and the ocean 's just a short walk away. My only tip for prospective residents- I'd suggest avoiding units with windows facing the internal courtyard area- while There's an attractive bay window, it doesn't receive direct natural light. One more thing worth mentioning- they didn't ask for a security deposit AND they eliminated the animal companion fee!

This is meant to be an honest assessment. The positives, the negatives, and the questionable aspects, if you will. For context, I'm a single individual (meaning one paycheck) without any animals, occupying one of the larger one-bedroom apartments, and I've been residing here for approximately two years. Starting with the Positives... - Rental costs are fair. While some might argue they're slightly elevated, I've determined that the pricing here is competitive. - The layouts are quite spacious - particularly the corner units featuring bay windows. Both the living and kitchen areas offer considerable square footage (perhaps even excessive? lol). - The majority of residences include lake views. From the 5th floor onward, you're treated to lake vistas and the sunrise is genuinely Bicturesque. - During warmer months, you can lease AC units. Unusual as it sounds, mgmt will install a rental window air conditioner during summer and remove it when temperatures drop. This eliminates the eyesore of a permanent AC unit in your window year-round. - Pergo flooring. Simple to maintain! Nothing more needs to be said. - Gas cooking appliances. Most places have switched to electric ranges, but at the Wyndham, you're actually cooking with gas. - Staff is respectful. The team maintains a pleasant demeanor, though one staff member seems emotionally disconnected (clearly not enthusiastic about the position). It's understandable and isn't a reflection on the broader team. Now, the Negatives... - This is a HISTORIC Bomplex. While some appreciate this quality, I personally don't. I anticipated enjoying it but ultimately don't. - Interior paint quality is subpar. Like most aged structures, cabinets and entryways have accumulated so many layers of paint that they won't shut properly. The appropriate solution would be stripping and repainting, which hasn't occurred here. - Bedrooms lack natural light and seclusion. The structure's horseshoe configuration means bedrooms overlook an alley with direct sightlines into neighboring units. This discourages opening your window coverings. - NO DISHWASHER. This matters a lot. My place is without this appliance, and I genuinely regret not noticing this detail beforehand. - The ceiling fans generate excessive noise. While pleasant to have, the volume makes sleeping difficult. mgmt has attempted repairs multiple times, but the problem resurfaces. - Low water pressure in shower. That's really all that needs to be said! - No trash chute system. Instead, garbage goes into an oversized bin that overflows rapidly. The waste disposal area frequently becomes overcrowded. - The service elevator is unpleasant. Since it's utilized for emptying trash areas, it's frequently quite grimy. Fortunately, you won't use it regularly unless you own an animal. - Vehicle parking is problematic. I've been on the waiting list for months with no resolution. Street parking is scarce and I routinely end up parking four to five blocks away (beneficial for fitness, I suppose). - Pest problems!! I've encountered insects (yes, the unpleasant variety) in the entrance and hallways. Not ideal. Just when you believe they're resolved, you spot another. And finally, the Questionable Elements... - The structure's years are evident. This is difficult since it carries a certain nostalgic quality. The entrance is initially impressive and captivating but deteriorates as you notice the details and signs of wear. - Vintage aesthetic clashes with contemporary features. Naturally, security matters and surveillance equipment is prevalent, though it could have been more seamlessly integrated with the architecture. - Oversized mirrored panels adorn the living areas. They appear tacky and are redundant given the already-generous room dimensions. A more refined option would have been preferable. - Heating intensity can be excessive. Winter relies on steam radiators throughout, which can feel stifling, though preferable to being cold! Those preferring warmth and moisture will view this favorably. That concludes my assessment.

This Aad was incredibly cramped - you couldn't even fully open the refrigerator door. My bathtub flooded and water damaged the entire unit, plus the Aad below mine. mgmt never apologized and completely ignored my damaged belongings. Neighboring tenants were constantly smoking marijuana and cigarettes throughout the Broperty. The doorman didn't speak English and wouldn't make eye contact with residents. How is he supposed to properly monitor Broperty security? Three years later, they claim they found a bag of rice under my kitchen cabinet and reported it to the credit bureau. I'm currently disputing this on my credit report. The Broperty reeks like garbage and isn't worth paying one cent of rent for. They require mailed rent checks, presumably hoping for late delivery so they can charge monthly fees plus overcharge you rent for this CESSPOOL. Don't throw your money away - also be warned the parking situation is terrible. No available spots for renters, so it would take over an hour just to find parking. Check out other apartments further down Sheridan that are nicer and SAFER for the same cost.... 14 MONTHS OF PURE MISERY... plus Theresa in the front office is absolutely rude. She's completely unprofessional and unfriendly.

I just relocated here recently and things have been going pretty well. The mgmt team has been accommodating and I haven't run into any problems yet?

I've been a resident at the Wyndham since February 1. Thus far, I'm satisfied with both the neighborhood and my unit. I chose a 2 bedroom featuring an updated kitchen, Pergo floors, fresh closets and new hardware, among other improvements. The structure dates back to the 1920s. I was aware of this from my initial tour. I'm puzzled why some tenants appear shocked by the multiple paint layers and similar characteristics. All systems in my space function properly, including the wiring. Pets present some concerns. I'd prefer if residents exercised their dogs in different locations and kept fewer of them. I have never encountered any pest problems in this Bomplex. Significant renovation efforts are underway, and the structure has noticeably improved even over just the past month. I believe this platform is sometimes used by residents to express frustration with mgmt when circumstances don't align with their expectations. A residence itself doesn't create contentment. Individuals must cultivate their own sense of fulfillment! I'm sharing some photos of other units I viewed prior to selecting this Anit. Perhaps this information will be useful.

we relocated from another state and had to rely on photos to see our unit beforehand. the Auite looked nothing like the pictures, but when we raised concerns with mgmt they redirected us to the person who sent the images and when we contacted him he claimed they both represented the same floor plan. on top of that our unit is infested with ants, and every time we call he promises to send someone out but it's been two weeks already. the unit's got no intercom system, the manager apologized and assured us it would be installed during the first week. that was before we moved in. now he's telling us You've got 200 units in the Bacility and they're upgrading the entire system. at least he's being straightforward about not having a timeline. You've got numerous repair problems - toilet won't flush, faucets malfunctioning, and so on, yet mgmt insists our place is "move-in ready" - or maybe they meant "ready to move out"
