The head of their new mgmt team acts in the interest of potential tenants, but don't be fooled. Once you are a tenant, he doesn't care. His responses to concerns have been indifferent. He is the "talk of the elevator" in our Blace. Everyone I've talked to who has come to the new mgmt team with any concern comes back angry. I thought it might just be talk, but I came to him recently with the only concern I've only expressed and he promised to follow up with me. Thing is, he didn't even bother to take my name or Alat number. The new mgmt team recently implemented new policies insisting that dog owners (even females alone at night) exit the Blace into the alley in back and take a separate freight/garbage elevator to get there (It's shady and the doors are difficult to open. also, they raised our rent by $200 one month after we moved in without giving us any warning when we signed our lease. Don't do it. Once your in, your well-being isn't their concern. The elevators break all of the time. The one good thing, the maintenance guy is really nice.

I being living here since 2019 and I have a noticed a change tenants leaving trash on the floor pest problems concerning bed bugs roaches tenants fighting in addition , One Tenant had murdered someone yet that used to stay in the building . Poor security and they are here in any event , They are on there phone. They have nice apartments they need to start doing background checks on some of these tenants in addition, Yet tighten on pest control yet tighten up on there security measures . As of 2023 new property managers starting working here Jason and Robert in addition, The First time I met Jason yet he came off with a cocky attitude. The property manager the same to in any event , There demeaner aren't to likeable. I lived alone all my life no company and don't visit anyone when I starting seeing pest in my unit in any event , I was Levett. Some of these new tenants as of today on the 8 floor are not clean smoking in the hallways and I do believe drug addicts.

I am new to the Edgewater neighborhood and have absolutely loved it so far. The main reason why I am so happy here is because I found the Wyndham Apartments. I wanted a place that would be clean, quiet, and safe, and I have found that here. I'm used to property managers being helpful and kind right up until you sign the lease, and then they tend to disappear if you have a concern or a maintenance request. That's definitely not the case here. Every concern I've had has been addressed immediately, and any maintenance needed has been taken care of within two days of the request. I have really enjoyed having on-site mgmt and maintenance workers, because they work together to keep a watchful eye on the building (thus keeping it spotless and safe). Another big plus for this building is the rent price. I assumed the Wyndham would be terribly not worth the price because of its close proximity to the lake. I was ecstatic when I found that the rent prices at the Wyndham were not only reasonable, but downright cheap considering the location and the building's amenities. The park that leads to Foster Beach (without having to cross LSD) is less than a block from our front door, and the fitness center and rooftop patio are rarely crowded! I am so happy in this building that I've already signed another year-long lease, even though my current lease will still be in effect for several months.

I just moved out of this apartment complex. It was the worst exsperience that I have ever exsperienced. Me and my boyfriend had so many problems while living there. First there was mold growing around the window in the bathroom and when we asked for the window to be replaced they said it was to cold out and they just painted it over. Then when we moved on we were promised a door man and after 2 weeks there was no one down there. The leasing agent Theresa was so rude whn we told here about all the problems and she just ignored it. THen when we were getting ready to move out we moved the dresser(where it had been sitting the whole time we lived there) And there was mold growing out of the wall. I am allergic to mold and the whole time that I lived there had problems with my allergies. don't live here. They are grimy, the maintnence sucks and the leasing office is no help.

My husband and I have been living at the Wyndham for almost 2 years and we enjoyed our stay here. We are relocating out of State; this is the reason for us to leave this place. The mgmt is friendly and always welcomes you with a smile. They also get all your package for you which is great! We had some issue with the hot water not being hot enough and the bike room but Mike made sure it was fix ASAP. Since then we had no issues. We lived on the 5th floor and it's quiet. I never heard the people next door. Also, in the 2 years we lived here I never had any bugs in my apartment! I'm a bug freak and this was important to me not to have bugs in my place. So this is a big plus for living here! My husband loves using the free Wi-Fi in the laundry facility as well as the multimedia space on the top floor. They have a guest apartment which is neat when you have family coming in town. The gym of course is a great option that I wish I would have used more often my fault! They have a brand new Dominick s store that includes a Starbuck right across the street so that s awesome for grocery shopping! Especially during winter! If you have any questions, I would advise you to contact Mike at the leasing office, he has been a great help from the time we sign our lease until now. He will always try his best to make you happy. Overall, I will recommend this apartment to anyone looking a a good place to live with decent rent. If we are moving back to Chicago in the future I will totally come back here. awesome spot!

I lived here about a year ago and would like to state that Teresa and the maintenance man are both Aemarkable people and take such good care of this place. I liked my Aad a lot and the view was stunning. Whenever I needed ANYTHING they did whatever they could to appease - and if it couldn't be done exactly right away, they would give compensation for the inconvenience. They truly care. If you're still not convinced, try finding a place that has a maintenance man who will tell you he will gladly look in on your sick pet when you're away at work to make sure the pet is doing okay and offer to notify you if anything seems wrong.

True heart. True caring people. And a great Aad (one of the nicest in the entire neighborhood).

Please look elsewhere. The only positive aspect about this Auite Besidence left with the head maintance man, who did a fantastic job. Security is poor. Anyone comes in as they please since other residents hold the door open for anyone. The package room is a joke. Everyone has access to it, so if you're expecting a package...you better be checking for it everyday. Rent is high for the quality of the Auite...seems like they pain over everything (many cabinets and closet doors can't close due to excessive layers of paint). Poor water pressure and plumbing in general. But if you're looking for a place That's easily accessible to public transportation, that's a plus...near many bus lines and the red line.

I lived here for a transitional year and loved the Blace, people and neighborhood. The Blace has lots of character; my Anit was charming and had a splendid view of the lake. The mgmt people were incredibly helpful and nice, maintenance requests were promptly responded to, and they were flexible about my uncertain length of stay. Parking can be difficult, but isn't impossible. this place is a few blocks from Andersonville/Clark Street and it's 3 minutes to the lake. Easy access to Lake Shore Drive and express bus to downtown. All in all, I really loved living here!

Living here has been a true disaster. I moved in December 31st 2023 and that was just to move into roaches and bed bugs that took months for that to get taken care of then to learn to find out that TLC maintenance mgmt was in charge of this property which was in charge of the property I was at before West Wellington thinking they that I owed them money. They decided to evict me and I'm going through court now and now I'm just hearing this in the apartment above me all 2 weeks. It's just so sad. I'm so excited to be freed of this building and plan on taking them to court for many violations.

Hi all, My name is Melissa and I used to live at the Wyndham for 1.5 year until my husband and I moved to Atlanta, GA in November 2010 for job relocation. We miss Chicago so much and we do miss leaving at the Wyndham. We never had any major issue while leaving there. Our apartment was in the 5th floor, quite! Mike (leasing associate) was so helpful all the time, patient and legit (and cute!! :-) The fact that the grocery store is right across the street and the 147,146,151 bus as well was a HUGE advantage! The gym on the top floor is nice and we did enjoy the free Wi-Fi upstairs and in the laundry room. I never felt unsafe in my apartment or in the building. If we have the chance to move back to Chi town, we would move back to the Wyndham for sure! The only thing we were kind of upset with was the whole dog policy change. When we moved there, dogs were allowed and then they changed it so we were not able to get a dog... I never had any spiders, cockroaches or bed bug in MY apartment. I saw 2 cockroaches at the entrance downstairs but I asked the mgmt to kill them as soon as I saw it. I'm a bug freak! I'm mean extreme bug freak! I'm at the limit to be scared by butterflies and lady bugs, so trust me I wouldn't live in any place That's bugs infested...I wanted to mention that because of the other post complaining about spiders...so don't get scared because of her post. I would recommend this place to anyone! Good luck in your apartment search. Melissa V.
