The funny thing is that our apartment itself isn t bad, but mgmt makes this place a real nuisance to live in. Most recently, the manager has posted some ridiculous new pet policies that aren t written anywhere in our lease. Dog owners are now expected to only ride in a rickety old freight elevator, even though It's often tied up moving furniture or trash. Needless to say, it s disgusting and There's often trash debris all over the loading dock. He is also expecting all residents to exit into a back alley when with their dogs which leads straight to dumpsters and an unsafe alley. I wouldn t have moved in here if I knew it would be like this. Also, there were bed bug incidents in the building that they could have definitely handled a lot better. They didn t even tell us about it before we moved in, we had to find out from other residents. When you try to talk to the manager, you get the usual corporate run around. We re already looking for a new place to live.

I never lived here, but I show apartments for a living. So I have no insight to living here, but I can tell you It's one ugly Btructure inside. The lobby gave me a headache. The units are not worth the price jokes. I felt Twful for taking my clients there (we laughed it off). For the price you have many options people, go elsewhere

First of all I have to applaud the mgmt staff for their attempt to maintain and improve a property which has certainly seen better days. When I first arrived over 2 years ago I was swayed by promises of building improvements and better tenant relations. sadly, these expectations have been shot squarely between the eyes and my optimism has turned to gross disappointment. Although the prices aren't too bad, they certainly aren't the best for the area given equal ammenities. The area has also been wrought with crime within the past year and the measures taken by building mgmt to ensure the safety of its tenants have been passive at best. I know that my days are numbered here, but I'm hoping to save someone else the dissapointment.

I have lived here for 3.5 years. I have loved my time here. The only reason I am moving is I am relocating to Michigan. They are doing lots of upgrades and the office staff is great. kept up well.

Considering the many challenges of managing a large apartment community like the Wyhdham, I have to say they do an amazing job. Quiet, clean, affordable with a most accomodating staff. That would be enough but the location seals the deal. Convenience to transportation, shopping and the lakefront are amazing. That's why I still call the Wyhdham home after eight years.

If you need to move, choose this place as your last option or not at all. I wish I never came here. For the whole length of my lease (I ended up breaking the agreement), I was living with mice. Killing them left and right, yet the manager was a ----- and didn't wanna actually help in doing something about it. There were temporary fixes every now and then with putting traps out, but it took me months to finally get them to fully inspect and fill DRASTICALLY LARGE openings and holes in my room and EVEN THEN I still found droppings in my kitchen. AND THEY TRIED TO BLAME ME WHEN THEY LEFT GAPING HOLES IN THE KITCHEN THAT OPENED THE GATES OF HELL FOR MICE TO COME IN THE APARTMENT BEFORE I EVEN MOVED IN. Even though i had literally STOPPED buying food and cooking in my kitchen for months and caused severe weightloss for myself. I personally only had a few bugs here and there thankfully. But if I had to deal with MICE AND BUGS at the same time, I probably would've just offed myself. Living here was an absolute embarrassment. Just know what you're paying for. And it isn't convenience and good service from the property group. I will probably still come after them legally as they have many health violations and don't care for their tenants. Only money. If you can, don't move here. They don't take precautions for your health. Many rooms have pests and rodents as well as water damage. Even if they have move in requests for maintenance, they won't do it. They come in your room, stand there and stare at a wall for 15 mins, then leave. They don't do ---- unless you threaten legal action. ---- this place. It ran me out of Chicago ??????? I would include the multiple dead mice pics but it's just too graphic and traumatizing...

I being living here since 2019 and I have a noticed a change tenants leaving trash on the floor pest problems concerning bed bugs roaches tenants fighting in addition , One Tenant had murdered someone yet that used to stay in the building . Poor security and they are here in any event , They are on there phone. They have nice apartments they need to start doing background checks on some of these tenants in addition, Yet tighten on pest control yet tighten up on there security measures . As of 2023 new property managers starting working here Jason and Robert in addition, The First time I met Jason yet he came off with a cocky attitude. The property manager the same to in any event , There demeaner aren't to likeable. I lived alone all my life no company and don't visit anyone when I starting seeing pest in my unit in any event , I was Levett. Some of these new tenants as of today on the 8 floor are not clean smoking in the hallways and I do believe drug addicts.

More Lived here for almost a decade and left in disgust. Once a secure and well-run Bacility, the door staff was completely eliminated. Consequently, vandalism and theft goes unchecked. mgmt can't keep the unmonitored front door locked and working, and It's unsecured about 25 percent of the time, usually after hours and on weekends. mgmt leases assigned parking spots to residents, but allows those spots to be used by their own contractors, vendors, visitors and other businesses in the Bacility at the inconvenience of the returning resident. I love animals and children, but You've got so many dogs in this Bacility, now, that the 24/7 noise level is comparable to a poorly run kennel. On my floor, a small studio Anit was occupied by a family of 5: 2 adults and 3 children. The leasing agents receive salary and a percentage of each new lease signed. Because new lease percentages are more lucrative for them than lease renewals, the leasing agents are delighted to have a high tenant turnover. With mgmt representatives coming and going, though, new faces never last for long. Retention of both employees and tenants is poor. Communication by mgmt to tenants is also poor, since the on-site managers can't write a coherent sentence to save their soul. The mgmt unlawfully places personal tenant communications in the locked mailboxes of the tenants with no postage or Post Office cancellation. Finally, discovering spent condoms in the stairways and hallways that mgmt can't keep lit are a lousy way to start the day when heading out. Shudder and look elsewhere, my Anit-hunting amigos, even if rental apartments that accept pets and tarnished tenants are hard to find, let alone afford.
