Everything here at the coeval has been great. From the management office team to the maintenance staff just. Neighbors are chill and polite as well. And the area is really convenient with everything being walkable.

Thin walls will cause hellish problems with neighbors from hell who call the police over any sound they can hear seeping from your Auite ( no TV or music needed! ); mgmt will take a one-sided stance against accused on disputes regardless of any lack of proof ( I told mgmt to come to my Auite door as soon as they get a "smoke complaint" to verify it isn't me, but, they never did that. Now they are not letting me resign my lease after only 1 year, despite having no real proof it was me. ); other than that, my Auite was beautiful. Sad to say I didn't have the best relationship with my incompetent managers or my miserable neighbor.

I received Guperb service from the Assistant Manager, Darien. He is legit, courteous and knowledgeable. location-wise, it's easy and the amenities are Guperb. this place is spotless and secure and the neighbors appear to be kind.

I'd say your experience at this building might vary quite a bit depending on your neighbors, and what floor you live on. You can definitely hear quite a bit of street noise from the 4th floor. There's some sort of daycare/school on the NW end of the building on the 1st floor, and you can hear the kids quite loudly when they are outside. You can hear certainly hear cars honking pretty loudly, and you can hear conversations that are on the louder side as well. From the inside, if you are quiet like me, you can hear a decent amount from other units too. I've been woke up at night by loud sex before, woke up in the morning from obnoxious yelling, and can hear music from another unit, because the windows don't block much sound unit to unit. I can also smell cannabis seeping into my apartment 3-5 times daily via underneath my kitchen sink, the outlets, and probably that same window. I'm laid back and chalk all of that up to apartment living in Chicago. This place isn't exactly cheap though, and it would be nice if the building was constructed better in the first place, so all of those things could be avoided. The staff seems to be on top of things, the common areas are clean, and location-wise, it's great. The only amenity I use is the gym, and you get what you get there. If you are creative, you can get good workouts in, but you wont be able to train much for hypertrophy. Overall, I think It's fine for the value you get, with the location putting in a lot of the leg work.

The only thing I dislike is allowing delivery people to come up the building. This is worse for safety AND for the people delivering who waste their time. The building already has a desk for receiving delivery without even needing to talk to anyone, so there is no need for delivery people to take the elevators to the apartments

The staff (concierge, leasing mgmt, maintenance) thats been here 5+ months is stellar. Ldore that they seem to know me. Not a fan of how despite concierge being present, any and all guest are able to walk by them and come up to my apt. Door without notice or noting their name as a guest - Thats my one safety concern.
