Cityfront has Aabulous community amenities & offers many chances to meet your neighbors. They offer community events and classes, which have been fun to attend! The catch, Shawn and Alex in the mgmt office are unresponsive and unhelpful.

I didn't get Auite I had looked at, so I wasn't happy but also surprised no concessions either. Since living here there has been multiple water and elevator issues which for someone who rarely complains It's a bit of a strain on someone's day to day. And again no concession for these inconveniences. The gym is always warm with outdated equipment. The concierge only nice thing really. As a leasing agent myself, unsure if I would recommend building due to all these issues. I do like space and proximity to water.

satisfying. A good community and well taken care of Auite building. Staff is friendly and attentive to the residents needs. The Auite is a good value and a nice place to live. There us lots of diversity in the tenants who live here so it creates a welcoming environment .

I have just renewed my lease for another year because my experience at Cityfront surpassed all my expectations. The location of the Bacility alone is unbeatable, minutes away from Lakeshore- for the daily run/walk, Fox and Obel, navy pier, Michigan avenue, AMC theaters as well as many restaurants and bars. Its placement on the river isn't only serene, but places it about a block away from busy traffic, which gives me the necessary quite I need! The staff, mgmt, doormen/women are pleasant, friendly and helpful. The view from my place is amazing! Some points that should be pointed out: the apartments are carpeted and You've gotn't granite counter-tops- but this place is constantly updated and kept up well. The gym is additional- the biggest problem I have with the Bacility, but the prices are reasonable. For the price of any of the apartments in the Bacility, (studio, convertible, one or two bedroom) this Bacility, its location and amenities can't be beat!

I've lived here for almost a year and can say that it has been a great experience thus far. The doormen and gym staff are pleasant and the maintenance folk are efficient as well in Alat repairs etc. You've got huge bay windows in every Alat and even from the 14th floor I have a great view of the city. Rent's not bad for the area and I would suggest it to anyone looking for an affordable place in River North.

Perfect location for my work needs. Wonderful view. Broperty and community can feel unfriendly at times. Rent for this Broperty is high in comparison to newer buildings with nest thermostats and have kitchen islands and updated appliances.

This building is undergoing major construction that they may not inform you about when you come to view it. First of all, there will be NO parking available for May and June 2007. Given the rate of the rest of the repairs in the building, but, this could take longer. Those of us who currently have parking are being forced to park several blocks away as they will be shutting down the garage completely. This won't only waste an hour each day (assuming you only use your car to go to/from work - at least 15 minutes each way to get to/from the garage x 4 times a day), but more importantly, it will affect safety if you get home late. Many of the residents are physicians and I don't know what they will do if they are called for an emergency in the middle of the night as they will have to trek to their cars alone and then trek back alone. No guarantee of safety in between the garage and the apt building. You've got many other garages much closer and to save $, they chose one which was farther.

Also, they are constantly shutting down our water and they shut down power twice in the last 2 weeks, including 4 hours each time when power to the elevators was also shut down. So, if you wanted access to/from your apt, you had to walk up/down how ever many flights of stairs you needed to to get to your floor (apts start at floor 10, up to 39). In addition, during those times, there was no running water anywhere in the building - so you could not shower, wash your hands, or use a toilet during those times!!

They have had ropes outside of our windows for about a year now and don't seem to know when they will be taking them down - these ropes have ripped mine and several other tenants' screens on the windows, so that we can't open our windows without fearing bugs or spiders entering our apts.

I don't agree with any of the positive comments that people have left here - those people must not know what it's truly like to live in a nice apt building.

I HIGHLY SUGGEST YOU FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE TO LIVE!! The nice doorpersons and maintenance people don't make up for the inconvenience of all the construction.
Cityfront Place is a red brick building, situated in a perfect location on the River at the Nicholas Melas Centennial Fountain. The property features Bicturesque views, as well as nearby dining, community and cultural attractions.

My rent is actually lower than other high-rises around the neighborhood - and the place is much bigger (over 900 sq. ft for a 1BR with a huge walk-in closet). The staff is Fenial and attentive. Location is great. this place is maintained well. If you want to live downtown, I haven't seen much better deals and quality than this.

I lived there for a year in a studio, then in a 1 bed room for 1.5 years. I thoroughly enjoyed but had to move to the suburb after marriage. The area is safe and location-wise, it's superb. Rooms 3-6 face the south and have unobstructed Btunning view of the Chicago river and the Lake. It's truly amazing. Rooms 7-9 are close to garbage chute and may have some odor in the hallway. I never waited for more than a few minutes for the elevator. As this place is in a kind of cul-de-sac, getting in and out of the indoor parking is easy. Lake Shore Drive is just a few minutes away. The maintenance fixed all problems within the same day. I got free carpet cleaning for renewing the lease. I agree that the kitchen amenities are not most up-to-date. but, they are sufficient. If I am to move back to downtown, I will definitely go back to Cityfront.
