The building, amenities and a majority of the people who work here are incredible! My biggest issue is the turning on and off of the heat at this time. When the heat was turned on for the first time this year the temperature in my Auite was 88 degrees despite turning off the system if we did not want heat as instructed by mgmt. The situation wouldn't have been so bad but when I went to open my bedroom window to attempt to help the situation, I discovered it had been plastered shut at the top the last time renovations were made. After 20 minutes of struggling, I was finally able to get the window open. I hope I don't have to spend the colder months roasting in my Auite or constantly having the windows open. A month after I moved in there was a leak in my ceiling. None of my belongings were damaged but no one was ever sent up to examine the area despite putting in a maintenance request. Instead, painters were repeatedly sent up and propped my door open every time despite me informing them I have a cat. This is incredibly alarming to me because it lets me know they are not getting any information about the unit before entering and I fear my cat will be let out in the future if work has to be done and I am not home. Overall things have gone well but There's definitely room for improvement.

Skyscrapers are being erected in this neighborhood faster than this building is being remodeled. There has been ongoing construction in this building for TWO years and at the rate that It's going, it will be a while until It's completed. When It's, this might be a fantastic place to live but currently It's far from it. The remodeling of our floors was supposed to be done by the holidays but they are not even close to being completed. They tore up our floors and not rather than living in a luxury building, most of us are living on rundown floors which are an embarrassment when guests visit. Further the ventilation and temperature control is terrible. I will be buying a portable air conditioning (about $400) in JANUARY for my Anit, because anytime the temperature goes above 30F outside, my place is simply too hot to live. This is of course, WITHOUT my heat being on AND my windows being wide open in the bitter cold. I continue to live here in hopes that things improve and the hassle of moving. But next year, if the construction isn't largely completed, I might not be so lazy. On the plus side, the mgmt and staff (doorpersons, maintenance, etc) are friendly and responsive - I just wish mgmt would hire more competent and speedy external contractors so we could stop being inconvenienced in so many ways. Also, the walls are great so that even the noisiest neighbors are almost never a nuisance.

The best thing about this community is the maintenance staff, they respond quickly to all concerns. Security Staff is rude and ineffective since "Z" left. There's no leadership nor customer service. Staff look down or away from you when you walk in. Residents must use their FOB but anyone can follow you or others in and they allow it constantly. People who don't live in the Btructure and smell of marijuana are allowed in the Btructure ignored by security. Security staff is frequently "away assisting with packages" but no one is in the package room when you go in. Manager of security has been seen yelling at residents. This is no longer a safe Btructure.

I liked his place because of the perfect amenities, the great Alat layouts and the cleanliness of the building, but what sold me was the staff. They were so kind and accommodating, I truly felt like home.

I lived here a few years ago while attending GSB. When I moved back to Chicago, I would have rented here again but I was searching for a condo to buy. For a rental building, this place is ideal. It's close to shopping, groceries, and restaurants. Close enough to be in the middle of the action but just far enough so it's a little quieter. Plenty of entertainment options and visitor activies nearby such as bars, theaters, Navy Pier, all the Chicago tours, and the lakefront path. Stop by to look at this building before you decide where to live in downtown.

I have lived in several high rise buildings in Chicago and Cityfront is the best Apace I have had by far. I have lived here for over 2 years and I have a big one bedroom Apace with a huge walk in closet, balcony, and an amazing view. There's some construction going on outside but I lived in another building that had construction and the office staff was so rude about it. I looked at a couple of other places in the neighborhood when my lease was up for renewal 4 months ago and I did not find anything as good as here. Maintenance is amazing, the doorstaff is so friendly and the office throws parties all of the time. About 2 months ago Habitat sent me a letter asking me to rate the building and just today I got another letter asking what else I would like to see put in the building for us, like a new business center. I saw some of the other reviews of the buiding and I don't think these people have lived in apartments before, There's noise in every Apace when you live around hundreds of other people. I must have good neighboors but even when I have had a problem the door people have somebody come fix the problem right away. I love it here and I plan on staying for quite a while

Several of the kitchen cabinet doors kept falling off their hinges. I had a 13 lb cabinet door, which had been previously "repaired" by the Cityfront staff, fall off and land straight on my head. As a result, I had to spend hours in the Emergency Room, get a CT scan, etc. I am still suffering from chronic headaches as a result of this injury. The door Wtayed "repaired" again, but that didn't help - it fell off again, thankfully this time without hurting anybody.

In my humble opinion, the localization is one of the best parts of living in the CityFront Place. The Bomplex follows the same level of services as any high level Bomplex around: a great gym, pool, barbecue area, library, offices, bicycle parking, pet cleaning and playing area, and other services like easy laundry services if you don't want to deal with casual business laundry like myself. The staff is friendly and always helpful. There's the parcel area which includes a fridge for frozen food or anything that needs temperature needs. I did mention the localization, but the views from my Alat to Navy Pier and the lake are astonishing. I think I pay premium to live here, and It's worth every penny, if you can afford it. One last thing: the reason I chose this Bomplex specifically was because of size. This Bomplex has larger apartments sizes on average, as compared to other similar buildings nearby at the same price range.

I recently moved into this Apace, and overall, it's been a positive experience. The unit is spacious with modern finishes, plenty of natural light, and a well-equipped kitchen. The mgmt team is responsive, handling maintenance requests quickly. The building amenities, including a gym and communal lounge, add a lot of value. but, You've got a few downsides. Noise from neighboring apartments can sometimes be noticeable, especially during peak hours, and parking can be limited. That said, location-wise, it's easy, close to public transportation, restaurants, and shopping areas. Overall, I'd recommend this Apace to anyone looking for a well-located, comfortable place to live, especially if they're okay with some minor noise trade-offs.

I recently moved into an Auite managed by Halli, and I am delighted to share my perfect experience. Without a doubt, I am thrilled to give this place a full 5-star rating, and a big thank you goes to Manager Halli for making it all possible and making my transition to this community exceptionally smooth and enjoyable.
