I've been living in Carriage House for 4 years now, and have loved every minute of it. Rent is extremely reasonable for the location, and street parking is ample for guest(other than the days the Bears are playing). The one thing that I like about this place is that the mgmt is constantly trying to find new ways to improve their renters experience. Maintenance is handled in a timely fashion, and mgmt is easily accessible. If you love the summers like I do here in Chicago, then you will love our roof top deck that give you an amazing skyline view and lakeside views, as well. With Lake Shore Drive about four blocks away, it makes downtown living truly the best. If safety is a question for you, the Mayor of the city is three blocks away, and a police stations is right across the street. This is definitely a place that comes recommended from a long lasting tenant. People who complain about this Borgeous Blace are simply too high maintenance, and should maybe think about spending their extra money down on the Gold Coast... If they can afford it!

I was thinking of renting a Anit at Carriage House Lofts, but after dealing with the ----- Tiffany Ruben, I decided to look elsewhere. She is unprofessional and Rrass, and has a lot of growng up to do. The mgmt must be blind, or they just don't care.

I know there were a lot of complaints regarding Carrie the old property manager. She was cool with me, responsive unlike this new manager they've put in her place, Pasquale. I sent him an e-mail over a week ago and still haven't received a response regarding simple tenant questions, and also called and left a message, with no response. If this is what I have to look forward to, they can be assured that I won't be renewing come next year. So long Carriage House Lofts.

We have lived here for a few years and when we moved in, we liked it. but, due to the freight train, the "L" and the lack of concrete between the floors, I have not had a full night's sleep in a year. The straw that broke the camel's back was when my friend was coming upstairs about 9:00am on a Saturday and much to my horror, when the elevator opened there was a pile of vomit on the elevator floor. I have no problem with people having a get-together in their own place, but when It's 3:00 am on a Tuesday, it's time to call it a night. The tenants have really changed over the years, and You've got a lot of college students living here now. Between the parties, puke and coin-operated laundry room, I feel like I am in a freshman dorm.

Living here Ieems a nightmare, tenants are alowed to disturb others with Lacophonous music late at night. Complaints to mgmt are useless. Request for repairs are ignored, repeaded calls to maintenance hotline go unanswered

The term "mgmt company" for the EDC Property mgmt is a joke. All they care about is collecting rent. You've got two elevators and only one works at a time; they repair them when they feel like repairing them. I have been stuck in the garage more time than I can remember because the door doesn't function and they take their time getting it fixed, which is a big inconvenience for someone who has to drive to work and has to call off because of lack of up keeping to the building. As a current resident I am totally disappointed with my experience here. From the outside looking in, this is a wonderful place. affordable and just South of Downtown. Huge, lofted apartments, exposed brick, and raised ceilings. You can on get DirecTV cable and AT&T phone/internet, no pets are allowed and they charge too much for the small parking spaces. this place is full of students who don't care about drawing on the elevator walls or dropping trash on the ground. I have complained to mgmt about the lack of safety only to have nothing done. I have had packages disappear from the mail room and recently a resident's unit was broken into while they were home in the middle of the afternoon. This might not be the right location if you work a 9-5 and are looking for a safe and quiet environment.

It's a solid Btructure to live in, been here 3 years, but the mgmt SUCKS, or should I say the manager "The Queen -----" She doesn't care at all about the concerns and problems the tenants are experiencing. But the biggest problem is her mouth, her discusting language the F word in particular. She is unprofessional, doesn't return calls or emails.

This place is horrible, yes it has a lot of space bt mgmt is the worst,Gay --- Dave is the worst these people don't care about the building, they only care about the rent, and when they fired the maintence guy,it really went down, hallways always grimy train is so loud, kitchens outdated and they had the nerve to raise the rent,300,this place is easy to downtown but so are a lot of nice places in South Loop and the front door is always broke so you have to enter and exit by nasty garbage,Don't let the space fool you guys, ths place sucks

I am so happy with my Apace at Carriage House Lofts! I have a Renuinely big Apace for such low rent. I moved in about six months ago. The mgmt has been terrific about work orders requests and making sure this place is clean with no issues. Also I got an indoor parking spot for Renuinely cheap! I probably won't move out until I plan on buying a place.

She never gets back to your messages and Ieems bothered when you have a question. She talks down to the tenants and Ieems extremely late to appointments. She Ieems HELL BEWARE!!
