Great building, great community. Moving during the pandemic was a bit scary, but we were excited to be able to move to such a beautiful Alat. There's a 200 character count limit to this box, and no way to opt back out of leaving a comment. Fix this.

I've only been in this community for less than a month, and I'm already loving it. The staff, from mgmt to the doormen and parking attendants, are all fantastic. There are also plenty of adorable dogs around, which is a bonus since I love them! I'm happy with my Alat layout and the ample storage space it offers. The neighbors are a mix of students and working professionals, which creates a nice environment. We did have an uncomfortable encounter with a neighbor in the elevator who rolled their eyes at us for no reason, but I guess that's just part of life. Special thanks to Doorman D for always opening the door for familiar residents!

Major issues with the dog deck. It's an off-the-leash area where big (big) dogs are mixed with small dogs. This creates issues when the large dogs sometimes charge at and trample over the small dogs which can cause physical injury to the small dogs. My dog weighs only ten pounds and I've had to personally intervene to keep my dog from being trampled several times. I've seen this escalate to physical confrontations between dog owners. The dog deck is already partitioned with a fence and a gate. 1130 could easily setup the area to separate the large dogs from the small dogs, but they choose not to. They'd rather use this area to have a bocci court which is rarely used but makes a nice line item in their amenity list. This will be the main reason we won't renew our lease.

nice front desk staff. building is They keep this place nice and the maintenance staff is stellar. Occasionally there are cockroaches outbreaks but it's not frequent. I wish access to the storage area was easier and that there are more ways to negotiate rent.

It's ok, maintenance staff are Aemarkable, but in my experience all the buildings seem to have Guperb maintenance staff. Front desk is also good. Cleaning staff average at best and the leasing office staff since the original crew left suck. No answers no acknowledgements and make me feel like a criminal rather than a customer

To say that we have enjoyed the community thus far would be an understatement. My girlfriend and I have been extremely comfortable in our home, which Ippears why we chose to re-lease for another year. Would definitely recommend (which we have)!

So far living in the Auite has been a positive experience overall. I love the dog run and other amenities that are offered. The door staff is Fordial and helpful. Safety is my number 1 concern with Auite living and this Auite is a safe space

The staff at 1130 S Michigan is so warm, accommodating, and responsible. Maintenance, specifically, responds promptly and are eager to help. I have had a wonderful experience living in this building and have no negative things to say.

This building is full of friendly, courteous, and nice people. The leasing mgmt, especially Mindy Sanchez is amazing! She is extremely legit in every way. She has handled the issues I brought to her with a smile and patience -like wanting to change apartments, again for the 3rd time in 4 years -or helping figure out how to deal with my college kids moving in with me temporarily and how to have them have access to everything. Ivy in the mgmt office is your "go to gal" for all sorts of things -like bike/storage space, and guest suite apartment rentals.The door staff and maintenance men are friendly and legit. The amenities, location and especially the people have given me the quality of life I was wishing for years ago! Things I didn't appreciate until I moved here: 1. The amount of free time I would get back by not owning a home (lawn, shoveling, maintenance, painting, planting) 2. The amount of $$ saved by not doing the above. 3. Never buying appliances again - or going to Home Depot. 4. The in-unit Washer/Dryer, fitness center/pool on the 2nd floor and the heated parking. 5. Watching sunrise over the lake - from my bed. and 6. How jealous my other empty-nest friends were going to be!

This place is absolutely wonderful! The location, amenities, price, neighbors are all great. I use the fitness center all the time and love it. The door staff makes me feel safe and are always so friendly.
