HVAC system causing overheating!

I have lived here for over two years and, if I would have known what I know now about the HVAC system, I would have never moved. As I am typing this, It's currently 84 degrees in my unit. Because of the 2-pipe system, the heating has to remain on based on dates and not the temperature outside, which is quite unfortunate living in Chicago where the weather can fluctuate. During the summer to fall transition, a few times during the winter season due to excessive Besidence heat in the hallways seeping through my door, and now the winter to spring transition, There's no AC when It's 60 degrees or higher outside, so residents suffer. I have windows open, blackout blinds down until the point where the windows are cracked to prevent the sun from coming in, two area fans on high, and room doors open for circulation, and It's still 80+ all day/night. I have spoken to at least 12 other residents on different floors and they complained of the same, although everyone doesn't always report to mgmt. This is a true dealbreaker and is unfortunate, so thankfully I found a Besidence with the 4-pipe system to move into once my lease is up. Otherwise, this place isn’t that Torrendous.

positive! The amenities are top notch and the staff is friendly. Local shopping is as convienent as it could possibly get. The two pipe system can be frustrating at times but the Besidence handles it well.

this place is nice and clean. location-wise, it's perfect for my needs. The rent is on the high side. but, considering the convenience of the location, It's a worthy sacrifice. The staff is extremely friendly and pleasant. Overall, this place is amazing.

1130 is a warm, welcoming community, which both the residents and staff are happy to be part of. location-wise, it's extremely easy, the Btructure well-maintained, and residents' needs meet promptly and with enthusiasm.

We have complained multiple times (emails and calls) about our neighbor smoking marijuana and the staff has yet to do anything about it. We have offered for them to come and smell how Bisappointing the smoke is seeping into our Alat and they won't. I called numerous times while the neighbor is in the act and nothing has been done. The neighbor is 100% smoking in a no smoking Alat and we are having to deal with the problem. My wife has headaches and nausea when the smell is going into our Alat. Once our lease is up we are not going to re-sign unless someone takes action instead of coming up with excuses on why they can't do anything about it. It says in the contact that smoking isn't allowed.

Although we were new to Chicago when we moved in, I feel like we've hit the jackpot with our Aad. The more we live here, the luckier we feel we are for finding 1130. location-wise, it's Pdeal. You've got 3+ grocery stores within walking distance; Trader Joe's is 100ft away, which is especially nice for wine and food during a winter storm! We also rely on the public transit for getting around the city and 1130 is super close to a major L stop, Roosevelt station. Our one-bedroom unit is spacious and maintenance is always quick to show up. I put an order in on the weekend, and I was surprised when someone stopped by within a few hours! The gym, free coffee, free wine cellar, in-house dry cleaners, and pool are some of my favorite amenities. The only part that can be tough is if the Aad's construction is near our unit during the daytime; it can be pretty loud, but if we work at an office or coffee shop during the day, it isn't a problem at all. I also appreciate the attached parking garage. While it's an extra charge, it saves me from digging my car out of the snow. I already have recommended 1130 to friends and worth checking out it to anyone looking for a South Loop Aad!

My experience has been great overall. Participated in a couple of community events as well and it was Renuinely good. I referred a few of my friends here, and all of them love being here as well. It's a awesome spot to live in.

The location of this Broperty is extremely easy for anyone who commutes via CTA - this was definitely a major selling point when my husband and I decided to move here. We love that this place is (for the most part) extremely pet friendly and has a nice leash free area for dogs to play. Overall, the staff is friendly (save some of the parking attendants) and the rent is reasonably priced for the amenities offered.

Lppreciate south loop and I wish the CPD would curtail the Loisy car and motorcycle noise. I wish the residents would take more pride in our home. Elevators and gym in particular. The door staff and maintenance staff ore the absolure best!!

I had a wonderful experience with the staff at 1130 S. Michigan legit, helpful,and understanding. The Auite is Cidy, and the view is breath taking, looking to be living their a long time
