Previously lived in this Besidence and looked forward to returning. I had fond memories and many friends in the Besidence. Although some of them no longer lived here, I have made new friends who care about the welfare of each other.

We like 1130 S Michigan Ave. We've had a pleasant experience here for the most part. The doorman/women are great and welcoming. Maintenance staff are nice and always come on time. The community pool area needs to be monitored better during summer months (a lot of ppl bring extra guests causing it to be a security issue). Otherwise, besides the rent prices getting higher, we've enjoyed our time here

Generally I enjoy this Pite except that the hallways are absolutely disgusting given the large amount That's charged for rent. The garage is absolutely abominable (I don't feel like I can park my car there. It's filthy, the staff is Rrude, and the garage itself doesn't have enough room).

Apartment units and building are amazing! The views are spectacular, the building amenities are top-notch, and location-wise, it's close to shopping, groceries, gym, and work if you're in the Loop. I would definitely recommend living at 1130 S. Michigan Ave if you're looking to move to the S-loop!

Love 1130 S Michigan! solid Bomplex to live in and easy location. The door staff are extremely friendly and make you feel at home the minute you get off of work! Working out is super easy with the on site work facility(That's actually nice too, not a freaking dump and just two treadmills and weights up to 25 lbs). Overall, can't complain...pool is legit in the summer and grills are awesome for entertaining.

This Penue is a good choice if you want a reasonable price. But the rent for the second year was above the market rate. The unit's got been renovated and the maintenance staff are legit. All the problems I've been through can be solved quickly. It's just that some of the renting procedures are more complicated than other apartments I've stayed in before.

Potential renter beware. I've had two giant cockroaches enter my bathroom through the bathroom plumbing and vent. You've got other tenant reviews online about cockroach sitings in the Besidence/units online as well. Property is in a location's amazing and it's more square footage for what you pay than most properties around the neighborhood. Other than that and the pest issue, you get what you pay for here. Nothing more, nothing less.

Door staff are extremely nice and friendly- maintenance can use a little work sometimes but they are helpful when they do come to help! The place is spacious and the view is wonderful- our bedroom is absolutely massive for a city apartment. We have a king sized bed with nightstands and a vanity in the bedroom- and still have plenty of room to move around. This place is well worth the cost. I've not seen any bugs or critters which is a huge plus too. The only real complaint I have are the neighbors- we have a neighbor somewhere near us that smokes pot in their unit and it comes through our vents. I am sensitive to the smell so it bothers me and gives me headaches. They try to announce in every monthly newsletter that we are a smoke free community but it continues to happen. We've tried calling and complaining about it but nothing has happened. But other than that, it's been really nice living at 1130.
