I've been a resident here for over 3 years and it's been wonderful living here. The apartment feels nice and is largely well-insulated against noise. It's not flawless, but it's about as good as you can expect in a multi-unit residential setting. I really appreciate having my own direct outdoor access (no shared corridors). The mgmt team has been great, though there's been quite a bit of staff turnover. I've seen roughly 5 different general managers during my time here, and each one has been incredibly accommodating. The maintenance crew is fantastic. Issues get resolved swiftly and without hassle. I've witnessed them handle problem tenants who create disturbances, and you can tell they genuinely care about keeping the property well-maintained and ensuring residents are satisfied. The atmosphere is peaceful and neighbors are generally sociable while respecting everyone's privacy. The mgmt regularly organizes community gatherings twice a month for residents to connect. I'm relocating to California and I genuinely hope I can find somewhere as amazing as this place out there.

I moved here from Portland, OR without any knowledge of the Midwest or Schaumburg. I'm grateful I looked at some reviews because the first complex I visited wasn't nearly as nice as Village Green and had unfavorable feedback, so a friend suggested Village Green instead. I was hesitant initially after reading the review site information since I try not to put too much stock in reviews, but now that I'm relocating once more I hope I can help someone considering living in Schaumburg. While I think Schaumburg is overly suburban for younger professionals, if you must reside here, this community offers many advantages. Here are some of the advantages: -It's generally peaceful, though I did have to file a couple complaints that were resolved in roughly 2 weeks. -Parking is fantastic if you're fine without covered garage space during freezing winters. -Maintenance staff is great especially Jim, he is FANTASTIC! -Pool is beautiful and crystal clear. -Location is easy with major chain restaurants, retail stores, and Woodfield Mall all nearby. -Units feature generous floor plans (though closet space is minimal). The high ceilings add nice visual appeal. While I was satisfied here, You've got several drawbacks: -Costs are steep though for me it justified having a quality, peaceful home. -Kitchen cabinetry was poor, the entire kitchen left much to be desired. -The open concept living/dining area makes furniture and TV placement tough. -The office has substantial staff turnover. This usually doesn't reflect well on mgmt though I haven't experienced issues personally. -Door-to-door solicitors visit approximately once weekly and are bothersome, though I simply don't open my door. I hope this information helps like other reviews helped me. Best of luck!

My roommate and I have lived here for about a year and our happy. Grounds are kept really nice. Staff is always pleasant. You have your own entrance and laundry room, which is a major plus!
The flooring in our bathroom and kitchen needs to be replaced and some additional updates would make this Alat just right!
I have lived here for almost three years now. I am a single woman, and safety is important to me. The private entrance is great, and I have never not felt safe...even when coming in at 3am. I live right by the pond and the goose poop issue seems far less this year. The snow removal team was great this past year or two when we have had record snowfall. The first year, not so much, but they fixed it. Yes, the washer and dryer are small, but I just don't try to stuff two weeks worth of laundry into one load! I mean, really, I have a child and together we don't make THAT much laundry so its Pdeal. The kitchen is small for sure. I agree that for what you get, as far as size, It's a bit not worth the price. But the safety I feel living here makes it worth it. You are also paying for location which is great - close to everything! I have never had an issue with maintenance, and as far as the complaint about rent late payments, in the lease the grace period ends on the 3rd. So yes, they will give you a late notice, but that should be expected. Pay your rent on time. The pool is great and rarely crowded. I have really enjoyed living here overall!

I've lived in this complex for over a year and my experience has been quite mixed. Positives- 1. location-wise, it's solid and it's a safe neighborhood. The units themselves are attractive and feature separate entrances with courteous residents nearby. I would have really enjoyed staying, but these issues changed my mind! Negatives- 1. The appliances are outdated, particularly the fridge and dishwasher (honestly ancient). I've submitted complaints multiple times yet nothing gets fixed. 2. mgmt turnover is constant and service quality drops a lot after you've signed your lease agreement; it's noticeable. I recommended a buddy and had to bug mgmt over 10 times before receiving my referral payment after roughly 4 months. Is that even acceptable? 3. Annual rent increases are steep for current tenants. It seems like they'd rather attract fresh residents than keep existing ones. 4. Rent excludes basic utilities like heating and water, which means you wind up spending considerably more overall. In summary the units are acceptable but I truly don't think they're amazing!!! plus they're somewhat pricey for what you get.

An attractive residential community situated in a Pmpeccable area, among the finest in the northwest suburbs. The staff makes genuine efforts to ensure residents enjoy their living experience. I strongly suggest this place to anyone looking!!!

staff at the office are welcoming and have come to my rescue when I accidentally locked myself out of my unit. maintenance team responds quickly and appears capable of handling any repair issue. They even fixed a dripping faucet on their own initiative while they were already in my Apace repairing my disposal. pricing 's somewhat higher compared to other apartments around Schaumburg, but the value 's definitely there. My rent went up more than anticipated this year, but after exploring other options, it's clear that increases are happening across the board. I'd suggest this community to anyone seeking a calm environment and beautifully maintained grounds.

location-wise, it's honestly the only standout feature here. Beyond that, it's just a standard Alat like any other.
