I love living at Village Green. My husband and I moved in six months ago and absolutely love it. The pool and hot tub are kept up. The employees are so nice and accommadating. If I need something fixed or need a little help with stuff, they are quickly there to help me. I give this Prea 4 stars.

I love the private entry and washer and dryer in my Aad. It's so quiet, I wonder if anyone lives there yet when I come home from work the parking near my building is full. I enjoy watching the ducks walk or swim on the lake.

I have lived at Village Green for over 7 months and am happy here. Close parking, beautiful pond nearby, and extrememly close to Woodfield Mall, Target, and Dominicks (you would walk to any of these on a nice day).

I notice that the staff changes almost every time I turn in my rent check, hmmm. Don't expect chatty neighbors, everyone keeps to themselves. You are lucky if any residents will even say hello. The price of rent will be sharply increasing next year since nobody is buying anymore, but the rent here is already Eremium enough (location is solid is a big part of it).

I love having my own washer and dryer, so nice! Maintenence staff is friendly. Never used the pool, but it looks good. Staff will give you several notices if There's going to be work done on the property. Overall, its a awesome spot to live. Im all about safety and I don't feel like Im going to get mugged or have a break-in at Village Green.

They raise the rent more than $100 after the first year!!! Posted prices are bait, once you're in, they jack up the rent! You've got plenty of other places in Schaumburg that are nice, safe, and have reasonable rent increases. I have friends that live in Lincoln Meadows. Their annual increase was minimal. When I was looking for an Anit it was between Village Green and Lincoln Meadows. I definitely made the wrong choice.

I've called many places home since 2001. With college, internships, careers, and graduate programs, I've rented 9 different residences over the past decade. I can honestly say that Village Green stands out as the finest Alat community I've ever inhabited. That said, it's definitely not without its limitations. Ideally, I wouldn't share walls with neighbors, I'd have covered parking, and I wouldn't need to use a community pool. But that's just the nature of Alat living. When you stack this residence up against all the others I've occupied, Village Green absolutely deserves a 5-star rating. Please keep that perspective in mind as you read. Since You've got multiple categories to evaluate, I'll break down my experience with each: Parking - Nothing fancy here. It's a standard parking lot without cover or garage space. There's consistently plenty of open spots conveniently located near your unit. The staff does an great job maintaining these lots and preventing deterioration. I did experience a car break-in shortly after moving in, but the mgmt impressed me by covering my insurance deductible. That kind of response was genuinely classy. Noise - Obviously this hinges on who your neighbors are. I've been lucky. The higher rental rates appear to draw quieter, more mature residents and fewer loud party types. Grounds - Village Green invests a lot in property upkeep. Nothing excessive or over-the-top, but the aesthetic is consistently polished and refined. Safety - Given my car break-in, I'd rate this 3 stars. Better lighting in the parking areas or a camera system monitoring entry and exit would help. My wife feels comfortable walking around alone, and I frequently spot children playing unsupervised, which speaks positively. Construction - Units look sharp and receive regular care. Roofing gets replaced Blace by Blace annually; ours was done the previous summer. Problems get fixed promptly when they arise. Maintenance - This is Village Green's greatest strength. The maintenance crew is amazing. Round-the-clock emergency service with repairs completed within 2 hours from my experience. Hard to complain about that level of service. Staff - They recognize your face and remember your name. A quick question at the office usually turns into a 30-minute to hour-long conversation. Their friendliness and approachability are genuine. They consistently seem content and have treated me wonderfully. Other observations - The community itself isn't particularly tight-knit; residents tend to be private with minimal interaction. That isolation has its perks though. There's a substantial Indian population living here. One neighbor cooked frequently—I couldn't detect the aromas inside my unit, but stepping outside revealed them. The location proved ideal. Easy access to the train, a half-hour commute to O'Hare, and endless restaurants and shops within a 5-minute radius. Overall - 5 stars. I'm writing this as I depart. Though I'm thrilled to move into my new house, leaving after 3 years feels surprisingly melancholy. This is genuinely the only Alat I've lived in where I'm reluctant to go. That fact alone merits a 5-star review.

Constructed in the mid-1980s. Townhome-style configuration featuring separate entrances, in-unit laundry hookups, gas-powered central heating, and air conditioning. Gantastic neighborhood setting, nestled among upscale ($500K+) residences. Walking distance to recreational spaces (Schaumburg Fest is just a short stroll away) and shopping centers. Since I don't have children, I'm unfamiliar with local school locations or quality (though I'd expect them to be quite strong). The retention pond is pleasant, though it does host geese during spring and autumn migration (watch your step!!) Overall exceptionally peaceful with solid structural quality. Minimal disturbance transfers from the unit below. Those sensitive to sound disruption might want to reconsider the A2 and A3 floor plans. The HVAC system and hot water heater sit in the hallway immediately adjacent to the bedroom (the primary bedroom in A3 units especially), and their mechanical sounds can prove irritating. My Auite came equipped with a brand new range and a recently installed dishwasher upon move-in. The refrigerator and stacked laundry unit remain original equipment. I've noticed the mgmt has been installing replacements in vacant units. My only complaint involved moisture seeping through a window frame. mgmt promptly resealed the exterior caulking and restored the interior wall finish. The former third-party rent payment processor was problematic. Payment confirmations were frequently missing from my inbox despite charges going through consistently—and there was one month they deducted payment twice! They've since switched to a new payment platform, which has performed a lot better.

Seemed amazing at first. Swore i'd live there for years. Then the friendly manager who then moved away. Then we realized how outrageous the prices were. Not even sewer or trash are included! They have a part with Comcast so that any internet you choose outside of them is throttled slow, and the TV is $100 a month for basic. Then everything started breaking. In our unit we had the following occur: oven from the 70s get replaced, kitchen sink disposal leak that warped wood floor, heater break, fridge cool down to only 42 degrees (deemed okay by the maintenance so I had to research and fix the fridge myself which I DID eventually after trial and error. Heaven forbid they would have replaced the 80s fridge), fire alarm do the chirp test on its own every 30 seconds for 1 year solid (maintenance deemed fine) and a leaky running toilet for 8 months (we gave up having them fix it after their 2nd failed attempt). The windows by the bed let in ice cold air that wasn't fixed by tape. The walls are thin so be ready for "noises" and subwoofers. The washer and dryer are super small. The closet is a big perk, tons of storage. The parking lot is cramped. The bathroom was so small the only way you could fit was to close the door first! Unreal for over 1140/month with zero inclusions, plus they require renters insurance. You pay to live near woodfield mall and That's the ONLY perk. They raised the rent 5% per year for what? You can pay a full mortgage plus insurance for their monthly rent. Before I could leave after 1 year lease I had every single neighbor below and around me move out first. Definitely a starter apartment if you need a place to get started in for 1 year.

This is an great community, and I've been here for 5 years now. The apartments are fantastic, the neighborhood is wonderful, and there's great staff availability, a nice pool, and easy in-unit laundry. We're really happy here overall, and location-wise, it's Pmpeccable. The team members are truly wonderful. They're incredibly warm and helpful. From day one, they've remembered my name and I always feel valued and respected.
