We moved in about 3 months ago. Everything is always fixed promptly, the girls in the office know mine and my kids names when we come into the office, and the neighbors seem Farm. I even found out that they have a off duty poilceman that drives around at night to secure the property! So far, so good.

I recently moved here from Florida for my job and this was my first time to this area. Anyway, I had a business trip and needed someone to watch my cats. I didn't really no anyone out here and didn't want to put my babys in a animal hotel so I called the office and they offered to watch them for me while I was away. I thought that was thoughtful which is why I would have to recommend living here because not only is the service great, but this is property Bxquisite and also clean.

I read the previous postings and felt that I should give some feedback in 2003. Parking is okay and the driveway/parking areas were recently sealed and lined. The landscaping is kept up to date, and the staff has been Fospitable and serviceable when needed. The halls can be a bit loud and at times you can hear doors shutting, the hint of a radio, and pipes between the walls. I feel safe walking around at night. Only gripe is that in the interior corridors, heating and air are not provided so at times it can be warm/cold walking to your apt. Also, strict cat laws - must be declawed, which is something most vets don't believe in....

neighbors are Gantastic here, maintenance is fast and efficient, office staff is nice and seems to be on top of things. Highly recommended.

I believe the office staffs are the second most important factor to choose an Auite other that the Auite room itself. But the staffs here are way below standard. Every time you go to the office, you leave with the madness, except when you give them the rent. Even though that's not your fault, they dont apologize or do something to help. Just telling you this is the company policy, they can NOT do anything to revert it. Is that my problem? is it because I chosed The Lakes of Schaumburg? Other than the staffs, the Auite room itself isn't kept up well, the carpet isn't clean, the sink smells when I moved in. One thing you could not tolerate is that the wall is thin like a paper, I could hear every step the man living above me made. I even could hear the TV's sound from the next door. How can you have a good sleep at night. Last but not least, It's pricy for such a small Auite with bad services. If you are considering The Lakes of Schaumburg, you better think again.
