It's rare that I leave 5 star reviews, but here I am! I don't know where to start, the amazing Aad that I rented, the great sense of home you feel when you are here, the maintenance staff that are phenomenal or the location, I mean after all we are NEXT DOOR to the new City Target store. I've been trying for a few years to find a corner unit in this building, but once people move into these units they never want to leave. I'm going to be that person...unless the rent goes up after my 10 month lease LOL I rented a 2 bedroom 2 bath corner unit. I applied sight unseen, never toured the property....and still haven't explored every floor, but Mandy Asst. Manager (not to be confused with Mandi Manager) called me on a Saturday after I applied online Friday night. I worked that day so I wasn't able to call her back until 4:30 Saturday evening. The office closes at 5:00. She confirmed that I wanted the 2 bedroom even that It's just 1 person, I told her yes! She ran my application and was approved within 10 minutes. It's now about 4:45 and I tell her I'm down the street. She said you know I close at 5:00 but if your down the street and would like to stop by and see your new unit come on down. I showed up at 4:55, she helped me sign my lease, and took me upstairs to see my unit. When I walked in the door it was love at first sight! Floor to ceiling windows, gray hardwood laminate floors, a cool view of the Loyola Redline Stop. On Monday I moved in. The entire weekend Mandy was emailing me and I just felt a sense of friendship and like they truly were as excited as I was about moving in. On Monday I went down and met Mandi the community manager and she was as equally amazing as her Asst Manager Mandy. There was a few maintenance issues that came up during the move in process and they took care of them so fast I almost felt like I had a team working just for me. After renting from a few of the really horrible mgmt companies here in Chicago I forgot there was good ones around, and this is one of them. I've been here now almost a week, and I love it! The Redline is right outside the Aad. With the double pain glass windows you barely hear it. If you are super sensitive you may not like it, but it's a light noise when they pass. During the evening there really isn't many that pass and they never wake me up, and I'm a fairly light sleeper. I never hear my neighbors! You have washer and dryer in the units, a dishwasher, central heat and AC (and you can control how hot or cold you want it), Taco Bell, T-Mobile, Target, Dunkin Donuts, CVS, Subway and Raising Canes are all right here. I could go on and on about this place but then you will all think it's a fake review. It really isn't come in and your yourself. Mandy and Mandi will make you feel so welcome! Oh...and if you have a 4 legged friend, they are loved and welcomed too! The ONLY downfall about this entire place is when you go to set up your parking. The garage is managed by Laz Parking. And if you are from a Chicago you already know how horrible they are. But I'm not taking anything away from this review because it's kinda out of their hands here. Just be warned that when dealing with Laz, have a drink handy, you will need it. And a lot of patients!

So the manager had my last review removed because she doesn't like the truth being out there, so as I promised her I'm writing another one, and will continue to do so until they aren't removed. If you move here you will find out how petty she is. So where to start....as I lay here in my bathtub being exhausted from working all day and packing tonight, I write this review. I'm trying to figure out what I want to talk about first. Should I talk about Five Guys getting robbed in our Bacility, CVS getting robbed in the Bacility attached to the garage? Or maybe I should talk about the gas leak I had in my Anit and waited over 3 hours for someone to come and finding out the manager told her staff that "there wasn't a leak" and once I called People's Gas and they found a leak and discounted my gas that she told me that I was crazy on the phone. Maybe I should talk about how this place is full of children (college kids) who run up and down the hallways at all hours of the night making noise, screaming and yelling and partying, and the lazy manager does nothing about it. Or maybe I can talk about how the parking garage has the fire dept out here weekly because kids are smoking weed and other drugs in the garage and setting off the alarm, and you find used needles in the garage. Maybe if Mandi Grandgeorge doesn't get this review removed she can comment and tell everyone how she told me she didn't care what happens in that garage, and that she doesn't really give a darn about her resident safety when they pay $165 a month to park. There's so many things I'd love to tell you, but at the end of the day the manager will more then likely get the review removed because she wants people to move into this over priced Anit Bacility. The Bacility with no pool, no hot tub, grimy hallways and elevators that have "f you" carved in the mirror. The Bacility that charges crazy rent for a doorman Bacility that has rude morning staff M-F and rude evening staff F-Sun. At the end of the day I'd tell everyone to rent elsewhere. Residents are moving out of this Bacility like roaches that was just strayed for bugs.
