location's amazing, nice community spaces, close to CVS, Petco, Starbucks, the loop train, and free way entrance. Parking available in the Btructure makes it really easy. Pet friendly floors allow you to pick your preference. I've lived here 3 years and have had a decent enough experience to stay a fourth.

I moved in recently and I love my apartment unit. When I moved in I made sure to check everything and file a maintenance request if I noticed something was wrong and they came right away to fix it. While I love my apartment unit, the apartment building itself isn't satisfying. Currently, there's a lot of construction going on including the lobby, the wifi cafe, the party room and certain apartment units. As soon as it's 9am construction starts and it gets loud and dusty in the building. Currently, the apartment next to me is being renovated and it's such a nuisance to come home from work to loud drilling noises that I can hear in my unit. My advice would be if you're planning on moving soon don't move in to River North Park because the construction is annoying and it just started so I'm assuming it's going to be at least a month. If I knew that the whole building was going to be under construction I would have found another apartment building easily with the same price I'm paying now That's already renovated/no construction is going on. If you're moving in a couple months I would suggest moving here because everything will be brand new.

I have lived in this Btructure for the last four years and it was great until Waterton bought it out. I really have to question an appartment Btructure that can't keep their mgmt staff. They have gone through not 1, but 2 leasing managers. When Waterton bought out the Btructure, the previous leasing manager stayed with the previous company. They then bought in ---- who had over 20 years experience as a leasing manager, but choose to leave after a month. ---- was the next manager. She was only with the company for a few months, but left after the fire. Yes, I said fire. There was a fire in the Btructure on the 22nd floor. I live on this floor and no fire alarms went off. The Btructure tried to say that this was because they have a 'no panic system'. Less than two weeks after the fire, the smoke alarm in my unti went off. After 10mins, I called down to the doorman's desk to have him shut it off and there was no answer. I had to wait a few more minutes before calling down again to finally get it shut off. In a 'no panic system', they are need to to have someone go check on the unit in question within less than 5 minutes. My alarm went off for almost 15mins and no one did anything. The leasing office is completely incompetent. I used to pay my rent on the website, but they had a glitch which started in January. It took them three weeks to pull the funds from my account and against my bank's advice they wanted me to pay them again. Even though I had printed the receipt from their site, I had the emailed recipt, and I had documentation from my bank that they had a hold on the funds. -----, the assistant leasing manager, has decided that I am responsible for the late fees. I made the mistake of paying again online in February and the same thing happened. I have since then paid my rent by cashier's checks from my bank, but that has not fixed the problem. Luckily, I had learned my lesson in dealing with -----, so when I went to hand him the check I asked him to copy it and sign it received. When the check came up missing, ----- said that I forged his signature. I agree with the previous comments about the doormen ------ and -----. I also want to add ----- to the good list. They are great!! They will help with packages, always have a smile and just seem to be in a good mood. ----- is another story. He is rude, lazy, and just an -------. I have walked through the lobby on more than one occasion loaded down with bags and ----- will stand in front of the door and just hit the buzzed to unlcok it not even attempting to open it. He is also racist. Whenever a have a guest comes over That's a black male, he will ask them for ID. This is against policy and he doesn't do it with any of my other guests. When I moved in this Btructure was great to live it. I love the loaction. The staff was great. The doormen were always friendly and willing to go that extra step. Since Waterton has bought the Btructure it's not like that anymore. And Waterton's only response to any of the tenants' concerns isn't to take or response to phone calls or emails or letters.

The front door and maintenance teams are Pdeal and are the main reason behind me extending leases each year. The inconstant and untimely chirping of the fire alarm will be the reason I leave and why I don't recommend the Broperty to friends. I

It has been a pleasurable experiencing leasing an Alat in this community. The staff has been extremely helpful from start to finish, all my questions have been answered throughly. Everyone is Fospitable and legit, the property is kept up well and offers an abundance of amenities. I am pleased with this leasing experience.

The overall experience has been great. When I singed my lease and moved in I was so pleasantly surprised at how awesome and cozy the apartment was, and how great the staff is and the amenities. I aboslutely love my unit, and my closet size especially!

Since Waterton purchased the property, they have consistently demonstrated lack of planning and forethought. They don't prioritize the residents' experience, nor do they communicate clearly or with reasonably advanced notice. They don't seem to know how to effectively manage an Auite building.

This is a good apartment building! It's in a location's amazing, about .5 miles from Michigan Ave, and just a few blocks from the Loop. River North is a great neighborhood, and River North Park is right in the thick of things. So location-wise, it's wonderful. As for the actual building itself, It's a modern, 24 story apartment building - which is more than I can say for cheaper, but much older and less quality apartments farther north. There's wi-fi in the lounge area, a unique and accessible court yard, a workout facility, and a lap pool! Free cable, low utility bills, and monthly rent costs are comparatively cheap for the location and quality of the apartment building / apartment units. I would definitely recommend River North Park to my friends, and to anybody moving to Chicago who wants to be downtown.

This building isn't a place I worth checking out to anyone. While on the surface it seems nice, the staff and mgmt company are really not up to par. They don't keep up the facilities in a responsible way, and when notified, they don't really seem to care. (For instance, two of the cardio machines in the building's "gym" have been broken for six months and this place is well aware.) On top of that, the general feeling is that the building's mgmt wants to trick you into staying in your lease. The whole vibe is a mgmt company out to take advantage of its tenants rather than any kind of building where you would want to live.
