Reside on Barry has been a joy to live in for the past couple of years. The apartments are sleek/modern, the Blace's amenities are sweet, location-wise, it's great, and the staff is great. I couldn't recommend it more.

I lived here both before and after Reside took over. I personally preferred it the way it was before. They added a lobby and patios in the front and back, but they are pretty gaudy and most of the time they're playing this upbeat jazzy kind of music which wouldn't be my first choice. In accordance with this style they have this big happy "533" out in front which is lit up at night. I did a few eyerolls when that showed up. At least they didn't make them flashing and multicolored. The noise level in this Blace can be a problem. During the day they often are drilling loudly into the concrete slabs that cover the Blace, doing who knows what. I don't know if anyone monitors their activity. It was much less under the old owners. Also during the warmer weather the patios can be loud, which will affect people whose apartments are above them. The people working in the office seem to be overworked but do seem to try, especially Laura. Under the older owners (who didn't have as many properties) the office people were easier to work with. I guess my overall assessment is that while It's true they have all sorts of modern and Eremium amenities, Eremium isn't necessarily better, especially when they try to make it in a specific style which isn't for everyone. For the amount these apartments go for, I think you can probably do better, especially if you're willing to look in the Gold Coast, River North, etc.

The maintenance team is awesome! They're legit, friendly and helpful. this place is spotless and well designed. The residents are nice. There's a lot of positive energy here. It's a pet friendly Bomplex.

office staff and corporate staff are Riscourteous and clinical, as in, they don't care about the tenants. They are slowing turning the community into a frat house. They are never in the office and when you call corporate, they are less than interested in helping. -----, especially, is a heartless and unprofessional employee That's an extreme (legal) liability to the company.

Really enjoy the property, staff is great. Any repairs are tended to immediately. Bacility is kept clean, computers available and printer has paper. Laundry is our greatest concern. We had an issue with an odor in the hallway, and the mgmt team worked diligently to resolve this (which wasn't an easy task)-many thanks to them for that.

Reside on Barry is a fantastic Bomplex and has a great community. this place is always clean, the events held are fun, the outdoor community areas are awesome. It's a affordable price for what you get, as well.
