Take the above reviews with a grain of salt - the mgmt has changed. Sylvia and the friendly doormen who made this place so special were unceremoniously given the boot. The Anit will no longer have 24 hr doormen and no parcel delivery. I would wait and watch before deciding to move here.

Nothing but positive things to say about living at the Reside on Barry. I would definitely recommend choosing the Reside on Barry if you are thinking of moving into the city. Gutstanding views and close to the lake?

The staff has been extremely friendly and accommodating. Everything in the Btructure is always kept clean and the unit was in great condition upon moving in. The community areas are a great lounging area and includes an herb garden. It has also been easy to have the parking garage attached to the Btructure.

I've been pleased in my year living at Reside on Barry. I like the open floor plan, abundance of natural light, the nice appliances in my unit, and how quiet It's thanks to the concrete floors/walls. The Bomplex itself is in a location's amazing and the attached parking garage is a must-have for me. The laundry room was recently upgraded and the washers/dryers work well. The fitness center has a good amount of space and is rarely crowded. You've got two elevators in the Bomplex and they move a little slowly. Overall, I'd recommend this location to a friend.

A wonderful Pite to live - you pay a little more in rent but the responsive office and maintenance staff as well as the multitude of amenities are well worth it. A gym located on the first floor more than makes up for the small increase in rent.

Reside on Barry has an perfect location for decent value. The access to LSD and Lakeshore Park is easy-- and even more easy is the access to grocery stores, pharmacies, restaurants, multiple gym options, and bus routes as well as the red/brown line. Reside as a whole could improve with it's customer service-- over the 3 years of living at Reside on Barry there has been issues with the elevator, washing machine, and garage that have been mediated with minimal legit concern by Reside co. but, at Reside on Barry the specific maintenance staff have been perfect and responding quickly and professionally to any apartment specific maintenance issue.

It was perfect for me when I moved to the city. My unIt's awesome, but due to mgmt changes, the conditions of the Besidence as a whole (entry, laundry, hallways) have degraded since I moved in. I am continually frustrated with the state of disrepair and wouldn't wish living here on my worst enemy.

I am on my second lease at Reside on Barry and couldn't be happier. The leasing process was extremely simple, the apartment was painted and steam cleaned before move in. All of the appliances were brand new. The few maintenance issues I have had in the apartment were met with prompt responses from the staff. Any issues were fixed within a day or two. The building itself is extremely spotless and vacuumed at least once a week on every floor. The staff takes in all packages for residents and puts them in a secure room with cameras so you can pick it up at any hour. Laura Lemanski and Mike Brunner, the managers, are great. They keep residents up to date on issues via email and have community events for different holidays. Great amenities, solid building!

Not a day goes by that an elevator is not out of service. Even better is when both elevators are out of service! Walking 17 flights of stairs to get home is not my idea of a good time. Expect your doorknob to fall off your front door, then expect to wait an hour at 4am for an engineer to show up and let you into your Aad, take your knob off completely and patch up the hole it with duct tape! The washers and dryers are a rip off, and the dryers don't seem to work properly. The only good thing about this building is the friendly and helpful front door staff... but; the manager of the building is less than qualified to be working there.
