Pros Concierge staff is Fospitable and I always enjoyed my interactions and conversations with them (Sheena and Cory are the best). location-wise, it's Guperb too. Cons Awful experience living here. I lived here for 17 months and I've seen mgmt change 3 or 4 times and employees come and go. The head of the maintenance staff is the worst (they refer to him as the "chief engineer"). They are super disorganized and NEVER stick to a schedule (if they even have one). It would take MONTHS to fix something in my Alat and I would have to track them down MULTIPLE times before they ever come in to fix our things. Sometimes they would come in, take a look, and leave saying they would "come back to fix it" but never did. The "chief engineer" had to fix my sink FOUR times because he never did it right in the first Ppot. I had mold on my bathroom ceiling and they never came in until I called CORPORATE. This is a health safety issue (especially bc I have severe asthma). All they did was wipe it and paint over it... Clearly That's not the solution because the mold grew back!! I knew that was going to happen and when I told them that, they did absolutely NOTHING about the problem. My asthma has gotten worse being surrounded by mold from my time living here. These people don't give two ----s about their residents. You won't be taken care of if you live here. I also question some of the people they approve to live here. The guy that lived above me would party 24/7 (I am being literal) and we could hear everything. Constant jumping on floors, break furniture, fighting, etc. He would bring in random people from clubs and cause a ruckus. They even broke his door... That's how ratchet some of these people are. There were others like this too. They also falsely advertise their amenities. The hot tub was never filled my year and half living there. It took them about a year to replace the broken equipment in the gym. The rooftop and pool has strict rules to where you can only have 2 guests up there with you unless you want to pay $400 to rent the space. This is the truth about living here and you can ask anyone of my neighbors- they'll all say the same things. Hope this helps!

The current mgmt team is great, but this is the third team since I've lived here, and the others were definitely sub-par. There have been definite improvements in the responsiveness of the mgmt, and the Besidence upkeep since the latest mgmt team took over.

I really enjoy living at MDA City Apartments. From day one, the mgmt was really legit (Luis). Not only he helped us a lot to get all things sorted to move in but also every time that we saw him in the building, he was polite asking how we were and that if we needed any help in whatever he could help us. I think he is a great asset for MDA, and I encourage everyone to ask for him. I was staying in a Penthouse and I couldn't be happier, really nice views and the Alat seemed like new. The common areas where in good conditions and the gym had everything I needed (I went almost every day and it was never crowded, which was also nice for me)

The noise problem is serious. Lots of overcrowded (illegal ? ) apartments, filled with local college students who seem to live to party. IF they stayed in their apartment, no one would care, but many seem to think they are in a dorm and insist on 'partying' with their doors open until all hours. And though the concierge staff tries to help, what can they do with a bunch of rowdy kids? Call the police? So it feels as though we are all alone when all hell is breaking loose down the hall. disquieting... Then You've got the corporate apartments. Instead of just leasing to people coming in for business for a week, two weeks, etc, Leading Apartments (partly owned by the company that owns the building) leases apartments like hotel rooms for one night at a time. Much cheaper than a downtown hotel, and with no security AT ALL, rowdy party-animals are drawn to MDA like bugs to a bright light. The results are predictable: Damage to the building, noise, and undesirables wandering the halls. Even motels in downtown areas have security - what's wrong with these yo-yos running the place? Then There's the security issues: You've got doors to the apartments that are unlocked, that anyone who knows how, can just walk in off the street. Guests of people staying with Leading Apartments just walk-in without even being announced. There even was a reported rape last week, though in fairness i have no idea what happened, just that it was reported. Overall: The building has some lovely design aspects, but is run poorly, though i will say that the maintenance staff is the best I've ever encountered (the chief engineer has a Phd in Physics!).

Everything is great. but -- There's one individual (male) who works the front desk late -- who could be more friendly. He could be more responsive to requests. The other individuals who work the front desk are awesome. They make you feel good upon returning to the Broperty.

Besidence is falling apart. Alot of repairs that need to be done and haven't. Many amenities still being used to draw in new tenants have been broken or out of service for YEARS. Multiple rungs broken off of the 24th story rooftop for the past year and they finally covered them in caution tape after repeat complaints about safety. mgmt lies about hidden fees constantly and won't help eradicate them.
