I love this place. It is a slice of home in the middle of the city. The doormen and neighbors are very friendly and I always felt that the doormen were looking out for me. Maintence is very helpful and the management office has always been reliable. The convenience here can't be beat and the building is amazingly quiet. I never heard the neighbors, ever. The train seems loud at first but quickly becomes white noise. Love this place.

We own a condo in this building and have had several tenants, who have all been happy with the level of service provided by the management office, maintenance and the front door staff. The person complaining about the elevators not working was when the system wad being updated for everyone's safety, and was only for a short period. It's good to know that they are in compliance with Safety standards! It is a secure building, and the door staff will stop you if they don't know you, which makes me happy a safe. Stunning views of the whole city from the well maintained rooftop deck, rec rompom, gym, hot tub, and laundry room. Free wifi in lobby and rec room. Halloween party every year, and various other events throughout the yrar. Our son rented in this building before we bought, and it was our and his postive experiences that helped us choose this location.

This place is a scam! You can find more affordable places anywhere in the south loop with proper working infrastructure and friendlier management. Be aware on the fact that the elevators (3 of them) are never working at the same time. On the weekends there are people crowded around one elevator that needs to navigate 20+ floors. If you work 8-5, then you should plan to add 15 minutes from your door to the front of the building due to elevator wait. Nothing is worst than coming home tired from a long day at work and seeing the crowd around the elevator. With the homeowner association fees you would imagine this building should be running smooth! Moving in to this place is a money making scam! I never have had to pay to "rent the elevator." I understand deposits in case of damages but to actually move your belongings up to your apartment? Don't you have a service elevator? You have a 3 hr window to move in/move out. You better have the most agile moving team money can buy.... and I did. I paid high end people to move me in and out and it was never enough!!! The Building decided to repair my moving elevator during my booked time, then later told me that I had ran out of time and that other people were waiting! You shave 1/2 hour of my PAID elevator time then you tell me I cannot complete my move? Seriously? The manager Patricia, as she likes to be called, is dismissive and unbendable. She does not care who you are and all the effort you have put in to move into the building. I feel sorry for the people that actually own property with this management. Anyone planing to buy should read this link http://www.chicagonow.com/getting-real/2011/01/follow-up-on-the-mysterious-burnham-park-plaza-condos/ I plan to move out at the end of my lease for sure!
