New mgmt, Lincoln, is incompetent. They don't care. Someone needs to kick them out of here. I already had a small Aad, but hey it's the area. Now that they have the dumb-dumb group they want to charge you for everything. Terrible guest policy. Huge disappointment and will be moving soon. I bet they won't even reply to this review because they know it's all true and have no defense.

This review has to do with the building mgmt ONLY! All the other departments are responsive and friendly. It seems like the issue everyone has in this building is mgmt. No one is proactive, the building manager doesn't step up to the plate on any of the issues that are brought to her attention. And they seem to be dismissive. In a market where buildings are looking for tenants, you'd think they would want to keep the current ones happy. The garage door has been broken forever and no one will take responsibility. The lack of communication is appalling and al she does is the blame game. I'm honestly shocked they haven't brought in a different mgmt team. Also, they still don't allow guests to come up to your unit. You have to come down and get them and many of the buildings in the city have stopped that. Still didn't make sense, exposing more people when you have to come down to get your guest but a lot of what they do doesn't make sense. I'd recommend this building if they had different mgmt that was good.

We moved to Eleven 40 for the location and awesome amenity spaces. Although Covid has put a wrinkle into our ability to enjoy these features, our building and the unit we are in are lovely overall. Also the front desk staff are INCREDIBLE. but, I can't in good faith recommend that anyone move into the building under current mgmt. Despite a competitive market with loads of new buildings around the neighborhood, the mgmt office team treats residents with contempt and indifference. Small basic requests for your unit or building or suggestions are often responded to with claims that nothing can be done or that they are "doing their best". There have been extended issues with elevators, fire alarms, and the parking garage that have gone on for months without being resolved. These issues have lead to criminal activity taking place in the parking garage, 20 minute wait times for the elevator, and the failure of a fire alarm during a building fire. Although these types of issues happen, mgmt's complete lack of interest in resolving the issues paired with their unwillingness to at least show an ounce of understanding are frustrating for residents. Moral of the story, they will be nice when you tour and sign your lease, but once they have you, don't expect them to care much about whether you are happy with your experience, building upkeep, or safety. Out of all of the residents I know, I can't say I know any who are eager to renew in the building. You are better looking into NEMA, Paragon or one of the other buildings nearby that have comparable prices, newer amenities, and competent mgmt.

solid Bacility with staff actually helps. The apartments are modern and up to date. this place is spotless and well lit. The residents are mostly young professionals. Great access to L. Close to several neighborhood bars. Easy walk to museums, soldier field, bike and running paths, grant park

This building makes me feel like I am living at a resort hotel. The beautiful gym, gorgeous shared spaces, office quiet rooms, coffee, tea, kombucha, pet run, vending machines, friendly & efficient staff, fun events & lovely Alat rooms I can't imagine living anywhere else. I have lived in Chicago since 2011 and have moved every single year until I found eleven40 and now I hope to never leave!
