I moved into Tropicana Apartments in May of 2019. Estela, the Property Manager, has an incredible way of making you feel at home. She walked me through the entire process with no problem (it was my first time leasing an apartment!). They keep the property very clean. Even the garbage area doesn't smell. The pool is beautiful and always clean. Estela is prompt to address any issues you may have in a timely manner, and goes above and beyond her duties for her tenants! Overall, I really LOVE living here and hope to live here for a long time!

"Manager" or whatever she wants to call herself has no respect for residents. It's really rude when you speak to her, doesn't look you in the eye when speaking to you & likes rolling her eyes when you are just trying to have a reasonable conversation, when you have issues with the apartment. She likes speaking to people like if your a family member or her friend. No someone who is paying rent each month and is a resident from the apartment. I'll like to say I've never met someone so rude working in a office like that and could speak to people in rude ways. I'll honestly say this building needs improvement but with people working in their office. And it's not the first time I've heard her being rude to residents in this apartment watch out for this cranky rude old lady!!

Do not live here! Run! Their pipes are really old. Been living here for a year now and I my apartment smells like it's a bar! It smells like 10 people are smoking in my apartment, and I don't smoke! It smells like cigarette smoke and sewage.The smell is so bad, it is unbearable to live in. It smells the worst once the temperature is hot outside. I told maintenance and management. They have not done ANTYHING about it and ignore my emails and complaints. They don't care. Their customer service is horrible.The smell comes from the kitchen and bathroom. Also, we can hear everything our neighbors do. Every time they flush their toilet, we can hear it. We can hear every time they take a shower, use the toilet, turn on the sink. It's horrible. We can even hear their dog walking around. To top it off, they now want to increase the rent! DON'T LIVE HERE! SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE AND MOVE TO A BETTER LOCATION WHO ACTUALLY HAS BETTER SERVICE TO THEIR TENANTS.

Terrible Maintenance, very dirty place and inside the apartments appliances not good at all.

I've been living in this building for about two months and my mail box has been vandalized, fixtures are falling apart left and right, the office staff is rude and unhelpful and now I've been seeing roaches coming from my cabinets. This place is turning into a nightmare and i would not recommend this place to anyone.

Here is my thoughts on this place. I been living here for several months now and I really don't have any porblems so far, the area is nice the place is quite I do not have rodent problems AT ALL. Everyone I see so far are ok and at night it is a very quite and safe area, well I figure it would be since cops stay in the area. The neighbors keep to their self the only issues I have are the bedroom is very small and you can hear noises.Meaning the neighbors its not loud but if they drop something heavy on the floor or bam on the wall you can here it that's really my only complaint so far. My Ac went out after we notified Maintentance I want to say the next day or day after I'm not sure but they came and corrected the problem. I think 950 is really not worth it maybe 850 a month but other then that I would live here for a few more years.

This review is for BAYVIEW PALMS sister building to Tropicana, they are both ran by the same people. Where do I start.... Before moving in my apartment the realtor that works with the buildings (PATRICIA VERA) told me how great the building was blah blah blah!!! There were multiple things that were to be done prior to me moving in. When I got there absoluetly NOTHING was done. I moved in June 2013 in July 2013 I was already so fed up with them telling me things would get done and didnt, I sent them a 5 paragraph email detailing everything. Maintenance is to busy looking at little girls in the pool that they get absolutely nothing done. I swear to god they stand in the gym and look at the 16 year olds. They tell you they are headed up to your apartment and never show. MAKE SURE YOU EMAIL THEM EVERYTHING!!! Thankfully I did because I just moved out and a week before doing so they tried to hit me with a bunch of bills which somehow each amounted to $3000.00. I mean I know they are desperate for money because more and more people are moving out of that roach motel. My neighbor left a month before and she told me that they tried to charge her for a bunch of things so I knew this was also headed my way and what do you know they TRIED!! Honestly if it wasnt for the emails I had sent to cover my butt they would have tried to get as much out of me as they could. They send out letters trying to collect more money from you ilegally, luckily I work for a law firm which specializes in Real Estate law. With them knowing that, they still attempted to collect more money for a late fee. NOTE if your lease agreement states one amount they CAN NOT send you a letter notifying you of a higher amount to be paid. They are bound by the lease agreement and it is illegal for them to do that. The Realtor Patricia apparently feels she knows the law better than my attorneys. These people are crooks, the week before I left the Realtor went up to the apartment to check a leak in the AC unit, I wasnt home my b/f was and thinking he didnt know spanish the Realtor told the maintenance man (in spanish) not to say anything to us. <----- This means they were already plotting on charging us for the repairs. Lucky me I had sent an email in July letting them know of the leaky pipe, so the damage was caused by the Realtors own negligence. I dont know why this lady became a realtor she is so rude, she does not let you speak and always calls you a liar when she is obviously the liar. The apartments are pretty but this is nothing more than a FACADE. I am not joking how bad their roach problem is. They are literally everywhere and in everything! its truly disgusting the building does nothing to help they send an exterminator monthly but I swear he brings them food. Oh my god and besides the maintenance men being perverts they are thiefs as well. There were a few incidents of the maintenance men going into the apartments while people were at work and stealing from them. A lady that I know in the building walked out of her room from a nap and caught them stealing her ipad!!!! None of this is made up, truly think about moving into this hell hole before you sign any lease because these people are crooks.

This review is for 1805 Sans Souci Blvd. When I first moved I I thought this place was pretty decent. It only took a couple weeks for me to really see how awful this place was. After my second week of living here I came home late at night and had to walk my dog it was around 3am and I took him for a walk behind the building by the dumpster and it was infested with rats all in the dumpsters and going up the garbage chute I was so disgusted I had never seen something like this before in my life! And the there are the roaches. No matter how clean u are the roaches will not go away. The landlord told me not to leave food out in the kitchen uncovered I should have listened to her because the first week I moved in we ordered pizza I only ate one slice and went back to get another and the pizza was filled with little roach bugs all over it. This was just the beginning. How do roaches get in the bathroom and bedroom? Once I found a dead one in my bed. They crawl the walls of the living room and I found one in my newborn baby's playpen and changing table. It was horrible!!! The kitchen was the worst, roaches in the silverware drawer, cabinets, dishwasher, sink, under the fridge, in my dogs bowl. The feeling of opening your cabinet to grab a snack and seeing a roach running around your food is the worst. I've found them in my box of cereal and in my bread. They love to walk all over the counters and hide under the microwave. This is the nastiest apartment I have ever lived in and I regret ever moving here. The bathrooms have mold growing on the cieling and the half bathroom always smells like some nasty food that the apartment on top of me is cooking. The hallways smell like trash and people constantly leave their trash in the garbage room instead of just throwing it down the garbage chute. We can hear our neighbors on top of us having sex the bed is really loud and squeaky. One of the elevators is always broken. Almost everyone in the building has a dog and one time someone's dog attacked me and my dog because they had no leash. The room is downstairs and most of the washing machines don't even have Cold water and if you have to recharge your laundry card you have to go all the way across the street to the gym to do it. If something breaks in the building it takes at least a month or two for anyone to fix it. Just please save yourself a huge headache and avoid moving into his building it's definitely not worth it at all unless you're okay with roaches and mold and rats.

The people who work here are EXTREMELY rude and incompetent. They are terrible people who often leave the office and then try to extort you for more money. We literally moved out just because of them. Incredibly unpleasant people. Do not recommend.

I am Ecstatic about moving here, It has been a long time since I have felt so warm welcomed and the staff is so compliable. The girls in the office always exceed my expectations when I request any assistance and I always get taken care of immediately. I would highly recommend this building and hope I can be here for many years to come. Best change I made in my life!! Nothing in life is perfect but at least I can say I really feel like i'm in a family oriented location i can call HOME. Thank you soooooo much for making everything so wonderful. Guadalupe Echevarria
