Over priced for an old moldy apartment. They don’t help you they don’t clean and when you have a problem with your old unit they make you feel like you are the problem. Ac stoped working 3 times. Refrigerator has been leaking for over a year and they will NOT replace it! Don’t wast your money here there are better and cheaper options in Kendall with a lake view.

I’m a current resident and the experience has been a very disappointing. My apartment has mold and I made an urgent call to the office. I have been reporting of this issue with the AC and water heater leakage since 2018 and have the screenshots of the maintenance requests I have submitted. The last one in regards the mold was on July 2022. The leasing office sent me a letter stating that I failed to notify about the issues and now want to hold me liable for damages!? If you are looking for a place to live look elsewhere, trust me and check out the Google reviews

The staff did an event for Easter and the kids had a lot of fun. It was well planned. They also had an entertainer that painted faces as well as music playing. They also had a scavenger hunts to find eggs.

Let’s start with moving during a pandemic. First person I spoke to regarding the lease was Lissett. I had signed the lease in January to move in April 2020. Given the uncertainty at the time, and how people were losing their jobs left and right, I was a bit skeptical about moving. I didn’t want to be around movers and I didn’t want to spend additional money not knowing if my job was secured. I expressed my concern to Lissett and asked to move possibly the next month, however, she stated that I would need to move either way into the apartment and that they would still charge me whether or not I decided to live in the apartment. I hesitantly agreed and moved in anyway. Only to find that all the amenities are completely closed and won’t open until much later in the year. That was okay with me since I know they were simply following CDC guidelines. Once public parks opened, a few more months passed after the fact and their tiny little playground was still closed. We are now in February 2021 and they are still closed. I called to ask when they would open back up as I have a 2 year old son and the play area was one of the biggest reasons I moved to the apartment complex. Lissett stated that she “didn’t know” when the parks will open and that they don’t plan on opening them any time soon. I thought this was absurd as all public play areas were open. I’ve also called twice about my dryer not working properly and both times the technicians could not fix the issue so I have a dryer in my apartment that doesn’t work. Icing on the cake, due to the pandemic, my husband and I have had our finances cut and aren’t being paid the same way. We have lived in the apartment since April 2020 and we were requesting to pay January 2021 a few days late as this was our first and only time we would ever make a late payment. The manager Rodolfo did not have the courtesy or courage to call me directly and tell me that he will not waive the late fee and that we would have to pay almost $200 if we paid late. I found this to be cruel and the lack of empathy towards residents was mind boggling. For a measly $200 late fee they will lose a good resident who was planning on renewing their lease just for the simple fact that we don’t enjoy moving. If you’re looking for a place to live comfortably and soundly, this is NOT the place. If you want to be treated poorly and unprofessionally then Vista Verde is right on target.
