I moved here in June of 2015 and I have a lot to say about this location. First: The apartments are beautiful, very well kept and maintained. No issues with any of the inside utilities such --- dryer and washer; kitchen all of that ---- works. You have a pretty big balcony in which you can't do ---- because you can't barbecue for your "safety" and you can't keep any valuable things outside cause low life people will come and sweep your ---- quickly. The office of the apartment has a decent computer room where you're able to print things and do school work or work things. The office also has a gym which is pretty small but it's not bad.....the only thing about it is that you can only use it during office hours which kind of sucks unless you don't work or go to school and you stay at home all day. The pool area is really kept well, everything about looks in this apartment is kept clean. Now let's get to my main issue and everyone else's ------- issue about this apartment. The security ------- sucks ---. On September of 2015; about 30 cars were broken into and got their shoot taken from inside of them. Which is pretty damn ridiculous. How do you manage to break into 30 cars without at least one security notifying the cops before they continued their rage? Two days after that, another 2-3 cars were broken into aswell..... Now 3 days ago; a man was held at gunpoint and robbed. I mean? They said it was a gated community; but the only thing that's gated is the front part because the little tiny gates on the sides of the apartments are like 5 feet tall and poorly structured to keep people out. They said it was 24/7 security but i don't see the help in that. It's not doing anything. If this continues; i wouldn't live here anymore. I'm 20 years old, work and go to school. I have to come home and watch my back every time i go outside wondering if i'll be the next victim because the safety of this apartment is whack. Other than that; the apartments are great when it comes to living conditions....that's all. They're also really cheap. 1 room 1 bathroom $797 and no water included. Carpet floors..not bad.

THE MANAGEMENT TEAM IS THE WORST I'VE SEEN. YOU CALLED THEM AND YOU NEVER GET ANYTHING DONE OR THEY TRY TO MAKE ALL KINDS OF EXCUSES. THEY DON'T WANT TO CHANGE THE CARPET IN AN APARTMENT THAT HAVE BEEN BUILT FOR OVER SEVEN YEARS. TO SPEAK TO SOMEONE IN THE CORPERATE OFFICE IS UNHEARD OF. SO ANY PROBLEMS YOU HAVE NEVER GET SOLVE. I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND ANYONE TO MOVE IN THESE APARTMENTS AND I WILL NOT BE REVEWING MY LEASE. RENT GOES UP EVERY YEAR AND THESE ARE BASED ON LOW INCOME. HOW WHEN MY INCOME DIDN'T INCREASE.

I BEEN LIVING IN HIBISCUS POINTE SINCE THEY WERE BUILT. ABOUT FOUR MONTH'S I DISCOVERED SOME BUGS IN MY KITCHEN AREA. I REPORTED THEM TO THE RENT OFFICE AND THEY DIDN'T COME RIGHT AWAY. THE MANAGER --------- TOLD ME THAT THE BUGS CAME FROM WHEAT IN MY KITCHEN CABINET'S. I TOOK IT UPON MYSELF TO REMOVE ALL WHEAT,FLOUR,RICE,PASTA ETC. FROM THE CABINETS. STILL THE BUGS WERE THERE. THEN I SAW THEM ON THE WALLS, IN THE BED ROOM AND BATH ROOM, BUT MORE OF THEM IN THE KITCHEN AREA. I CALL --------- AGAIN AND HE TOLD ME THAT THE PEST CONTROL PERSON SAID THAT HE DON'T KNOW HOW TO TREAT THE BUGS. I WENT TO HOME DEPOT AND SPOKE TO A SALESPERSON AND HE ADVISED ME TO BUY SOME KIND OF SPRAY FOR ANT,BUGS ETC. (BUGS STILL THERE) I THEN PURCHASED SOME BORIC ACID AND PUT ALONG ALL THE WALLS IN THE APARTMENT. (BUGS STILL THERE) I CALLED --------- TODAY MAY 13, 2010 TO TELL HIM ABOUT THE BUGS AGAIN AND THAT I GOING TO CALL ANOTHER PEST CONTROL COMPANY AND FORWARD THE BILL TO HIBISCUS POINTE OR TAKE IT FROM THE RENT. HE TOLD ME THAT HE'LL GO INTO THE APARTMENT NEXT DOOR. THESE BUGS MUST GO OR I MUST GO.

This apartments will be going for twice the amount residents pay if this was located in an upscale neighbourhood. The management staff are very efficient and friendly people. Your repair orders are taken care of in a flash. This is very commendable as I have seen some really rude and inefficient housing management staff. For those who wouldn't even consider living here 'cos its in a "bad" neighbourhood, all I can say is "get a life." Some of the really nice condos and high rises in the so-called nice neighbourhoods have more police visits than even a residential unit like hibiscus. I have lived here for 3 yrs and have never had or heard of any major crime or problems. The ups of this apts - proximity to I-95 (so you don't have to worry about driving through the ------); very well maintained; central ac, dishwasher, washer dryer in units (you can't beat that); moderate sized units; regular pest control monitoring; swimming pool, small gym, etc

Yes, you would think that the area is the worst, however, it isn't. I live their now and I have not had any problems. The apartment community is nice. There is not a lot of crime in the apartment community and the neighbors are friendly. I felt the same way when I noticed it was in the heart of Liberty City, however, you would never know that by living there. I have been renting there for about 3years and I love it.

The name sounds nice but I have seen the location. The location sucks... It is in liberty city one of the worst neigborhoods in miami. I called them to get information about moving in. I saw the site online a couple of mnths ago and I asked the young lady that I wanted a application. First she sound disinterested and I never received the application. Second I asked my cousin about the location she would be horrified if I would even think about moving there. I was not sure why until I went this summer a saw for my two eyes. i complex looks nice. But, I would not even dare myself, looking for apartments online sucks sometimes.
