Grate Place Silver Blue Lake is one of the best apartment complex I have lived in, starting from office management to the ground crew. They are all friendly and helpful in every passable way. I would recommend this apartment to any one in need of finding an apartment complex. Tenants here get well taken care of, for example, Silver Blue Lake recently painted all the apartment complex and also redid the entire complex with bran new roof. Thank you Silver Blue Lakes!

I lived there for 2 years and I was horrible. Shootings and drugs. Someone just got killed a couple days ago. There is molding in the house that they refuse to fix. Roaches everywhere and it seems like to me when the pest control people spray, more roaches come out. I stayed on the first floor and my place got broken in. I went to the office and they didn't do anything about it . I don't recommend anybody to stay here at all .

I have been a resident here off and on for more than 25yrs. I pretty much raised my three children here, now I'm a grand mother of six and they visit on a regular. I live on the 1st floor so we're able to enjoy the back yard space for them to play and we can have bbq cookouts. I love the space and size of my two bedroom apartment. Any problems that may occur their maintenance staff will take care of it. Great neighbors who mostly stay to themselves and in their apartment. Their office staff is very nice, friendly and willing to accommodate you in any way possible. I have recommend many of friends and family to come here to live and they love it here. Great location for public transportation, schools and shopping. People asked about crimes such as break ins and drug activities none that I'm aware of nor am I affected by it.

I live on the property with my husband. We have been here since June, 2002. That is 14 yrs. We are happy here and have no plans of leaving. This property is not without issues as any other place. We have an excellent Management Staff. The Maintenance is efficient. The whole staff does what it takes to make the Resident happy. Anyone doing that which is right would have no problem living here. Just pay your rent, mind your business, do your part to stay here peacefully with all people. Keep your children close, knowing what they are doing and your first year could turn into 14 years or longer.

I currently live here and BOY! Hasn't even been a week and LISTEN.... Ratchetville at its finest. In the day time you can hear a pin drop its so quiet. But soon as the sun falls, CHAOS!!!! Noise... Noise....Noise... Loud music, cursing, children running up and down, up and down, UP AND DOWN THE FREAKING HALLS!! And you would think these kids should be getting ready for bed, considering they have school in the morning. Lack of home training much. I've been here going on day 4 and I've seen several roaches already! Hooooow? I must say I hate hate hate it here. NOT A PLACE to raise your children. Overtown is better than this dump. DONT MOVE HERE!!!!!!

I LIVE HERE NOW AND WHEN I FIRST CAME HERE IN THE DAY IT LOOKS QUITE AND PEACEFUL BUT WOW WHEN THE SUN SET DIFFERENT STORY. ON THE 3RD DAY I CRIED THEY SELL DRUGS THROUGH OUT THE BUILDING AND THE MANAGER KNOWS IT THEY SELL IT RIGHT IN FRONT OF HER AND SHE DOES NOTHING ABOUT IT. THE POLICE IS HERE EVERY DAY EITHER THERE'S FIGHT OUT SIDE OR THE POLICE IS AFTER SOMEONE. THEY ACTUALLY HAVE SHOOT OUTS HERE, THERE IS ONLY ONE WAY IN AND ONE WAY OUT WHICH IS NOT SAFE THEY DON'T LIKE TO FIX ANYTHING WHEN LEAVING YOU DON'T HAVE A CLEAR VIEW TO EXIT EVERY DAY SOME ONE CAR IS ABOUT TO GET HIT BECAUSE THERE IS NOT MIRROR TO SEE WHEN YOU TRY TO EXIT AND THE MOLD OH MY GOD..... YOU GROW MOLD THROUGH OUT YOUR APARTMENT ALL ON YOUR WALLS, CLOTHS SHOES FURNITURE EVERYTHING.. BECAUSE THE SLIDE DOORS ARE NOT PROPERLY SEALED AND THE MOISTURE FROM THIS LAKE BEHIND US AND THE HUMIDITY GET INSIDE THE APARTMENT. AND HOW THEY SOLVE THE PROBLEM THEY TELL YOU TO KEEP YOUR A/C ON ALL DAY BUT THEY DON'T OFFER TO PAY THE LIGHT BILL AND THEY ARE TOO CHEAP TO BUY GOOD DOORS. IF YOU DON'T WANT TO GET ROB OR YOUR HOUSE TO GET BROKEN INTO OR YOU WANT YOUR KIDS TO LIVE DON'T MOVE HERE YOU ARE BETTER OFF IN THE PROJECTS TRUST ME AND THAT IS SAD TO SAY.

My young son and I have lived here for almost a year. Being a Miami dade resident, I've herd the rumors about this apartment complex. And upon moving in, became rather skeptical. Is there crime here, if so, I haven't seen it. For the price I'm paying and the size of my apartment, I've got a steal. I love my neighbors and the complex ad a whole. Mngt is the best. They know that with the economy, money is a little tight. If u get behind, they're willing to work with you,as long as you communicate. All in all, it's not as if we live in the Hampton's, but this is what I call home, and I love it very much!!

I was born in 1969 and we lived at Silver Blue Lake Apartments. Believe it or not- it was a wonderful, gorgeous, clean place back then. We didn't have crime in Miami back then- I know it's shocking! My parents, my brother , sister and I lived there. We only moved because my Dad bought a house off Ives Dairy Road and THAT was nice back then. My grandparents lived off 135th and NE 2nd avenue- what a great neighborhood until the 80's!! I am so sorry everything in Miami went to crap

lived here over 3 yrs and cant wait till my lease is up. The staff do there best to try and keep the grounds appealing but on the weekends this place looks like a garbage dump. residents dont care about themselves or others. most of the tenants spend their time fighting in the middle of the night blasting music and throwing trash, this place needs a make over the paint everywhere is chiped rats live on the property and plumbing sucks at least once a month for the past 7 mths i wake up to the stinch of poop and its physical evidence all over the drive way if you dont want to be embarrassed to bring company home then by dont move here its so not worth no more than $500 if that only good thing tenants wont steal from u

I have lived at Silver Blue Lake for several years. I have seen many changes. Owners have fixed the property up a lot. The drug problems are getting better than they ever were. Management cares about what goes on.
