Moved out as soon as new Midwood management came in. People in office stay inside all day, no customer service skills. Neighbors told me of abuse within maintenance men. Environment felt nasty. Building going down hill until they tear it down. How else do they expect to fix pipe issues

I don't know where to begin .. But please if you are trying to move in this building please do your research BED BUGS BED BUGS BED BUGS ;/ I have been staying in this Apartments since last January and my encountered with bed bugs was about 4 months ago at first I thought they were mosquitos but actually caught one CRAWLING UP my leg and had a rainfall of bites on my back they were extremely ITCHY and SWOLLEN , I reported and informed the bug infestation with management but they said they would look into it ???? About 4 weeks later they had some random man barely sprayed Appartment but that just made it worst , it looked like they bothered by spray so they came out even more. I asked neighbors that have been living in this building and they said that many units moved out because of BED BUG INFESTATION AND ROACHES , PARK WILSHIRE Is registered on BEDBUGREGISTRY.COM LOOK IT UP and even tho they haven't been reports in some time I am dealing with the loss :( I had to get rid of my brand new furniture that I worked so hard for and most of my clothes are being thrown again . I'm in the process of moving out this building but on top of being mentally drained and physically exhausted I gotta deal with management being disloyal and not helpful cause they don't tell people they have problems with bugs once they sign lease and on top they don't want to give me my entire deposit back and want me to pay for June's rent when the place is NOT HABITABLE AND SANITARY. Last week couldn't take another night in apartment so I'm in credited debt cause I already spent 1800 dollars on airbnb rentals :/ again guys do your research stay away from this headache.

I read the reviews before I moved in and they were not too good however I got such a great deal I could not pass it up. And I have really lucked out. While the bldg has a few issues the positives outweigh the negatives. I just moved in 10 days ago and prior to moving in they put in brand new wood floors and brand new appliances for me and have been very proactive with all the little repairs needed to help me make this my new home. They are on top of all the issues that any bldg faces. One issue that I had read about prior to moving in was with the roaches however in just a couple of days I was able to get this well under control. As a native New Yorker I know first hand you never get rid of roaches you simply control them which I have been able to do with the help of management. I have to say for the money I got the better end of things. Prior to signing a lease I was looking at apts that were the third of the size of my oversized 1 bedroom for several hundred dollars more. All in all I am very happy and would highly recommend this bldg to anyone who is on a tight budget but still wants something nice.

NASTY PLACE *BEDBUGS,ROACHES, BAD LANDLORDS!* please don't move here, it will be the biggest mistake! I think this place should be shut down! The building was from the 1920s with alot of history behind it but the two air heads working in the office Ana and Eduardo don't keep up with the building and take forever to fix anything inside your apartment, the elevators constantly break dogs pee on the building and nobody cleans after there pets. It smells like urine, they have infestation of roaches and bed bugs, I've met people who've had them like me & others who haven't. Why chance with luck? This place is "cheap" no its actually pricey for the dive experience your going to get. I finally leaving after hell & I hope this place gets shut down soon. Oh & the washers and dryers cons-tally need to be fixed

I got a great rental rate, with a great view and my apartment is easy to keep cool or to keep warm, it is the perfect amount of space for this price, and lobby is welcoming and charming, and the entrance is gated and set back from Wilshire. The laundry room is big, and they have a gym with enough quipment thats open 24 hours, I use it a few times a week, and it is also super close to the red and purple lines, and the 20/720. The Management is kind and friendly and pretty quick to take care of you.

This place is a serious nightmare; the management is a joke; the security is a even bigger joke. This place is a historical building with a vast history of hollywood and fame. To be left with the stench of trash and dog feces. Any vehicle can come and park in the lot and crash into other cars and the management will not do a thing about it. People from other buildings come and steal and the so called security guard sits on his fat butt and just watches them. Eduardo and the female manager are no smarter than a 7th grade educational level and the management of this building allows them to manage it. It's unbelievable that the building codes in this place are being violated everyday. If the Los Angeles County came in and looked into this place they would be paying alot of violations. The maintenance in the building is so disgusting; there was dog feces in the elevator for an entire weekend. People just throw away thier dead animals in the trash....OMG The outside of this building is always dirty, no one ever cleans. It smells like dirty dog and urine throughout the entire building. If I were the owners of this property I would fire the 5 year olds managing this place and hire real adults who know how to manage property. Restore this historical building back to it's glory and start making money for this place instead of costing the owners money. Especially the extras Eduardo like to put in his pockets from the tennants as well as the female manager. Wonder if the owners know about those little perks...

First off this is the worst place to live, Eduardo the manager is the biggest liar. He will never fix anything wrong in your apartment. You will never get a parking space in the back of the apartment. You will constantly overpay for more things in the apartment then they state in the beginning. The female manager is the rudest, worst then Eduardo! The place is always dirty, full of dog droppings, people let their dogs poop all over and they never clean it up. They throw their food and trash everywhere. The managers DO NOT CARE! as long as they get their renters in there, they do not care. They told my niece who wanted to rent an apartment, they'd allow her to have her Pit bull dog but not her child! Okay, there is alot of families in those apartments with children; who hit the cars, ride skate boards, bikes and run in the halls. The place is a filthy mess and as for the security guard who is supposed to be watching the door. He sleeps all the time or has his friends over and eats pizza and drinks beer all night with them. As for the Bed bugs and Roaches the place in totally infested. Stay away from this place if you can avoid it. They will take money from you, never fix your apartment and lie to your face. Rude immature managers. The owners of this building would do better business if they get rid of these two managers and get someone in there who could actually do a decent job. THe place is a Hell Hole...I know I live there...

We have been here for 3.5 years. We have enjoyed our single unit all the while. Now happily moving to a one bedroom in the building. Never a problem with the management or pests. We have been good tenants and treated as such. We even referred friends that are pleased to be here. I think you make your own bed...bugs or not!
