Funny. It seems that the only thing really wrong with Park Wilshire are the people living inside. I have met and seen more weirdos come and go from the front door here than anywhere else I have ever lived.

Everyone loved previous mgmt because they showed certain people precedence in the building and didn't care about the rules. That's great and all but nothing was ever done.

New mgmt created a lot of stir for the lifelong members of club Park Wilshire, used to previously undocumented and sometimes free parking in the back lot. People seemed floored when they were expected to stop slacking, even holding a number of meetings about how unfairly they had been treated.

The fact is, the neighborhood isn't great, it's not really even residential and the parking structure is far away and sometimes grimy. Yes there was a shooting... This is Los Angeles. Truthfully rent is reasonably priced, although I suspect not for much longer, and you can't hear anything from your neighbors. As far as I can tell everyone living here is under a wrong impression that landlords and property owners put their tenants first and treat them well. That doesn't happen in LA and certainly not an old building like Park Wilshire changing mgmt every few years.

ALARMING!!! MY MAIL BOX LOCK HAS BEEN CHANGED TWICE WITHIN 3 WEEKS AND NO ONE IN THE OFFICE KNOWS ABOUT IT, THE MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR KNOWS NOTHING ABOUT IT AND STAFF KNOWS NOTHING ABOUT IT. There's NO REQUEST FOR THE LOCK TO HAVE BEEN CHANGED. ALL MY MAIL IS GONE!!! I FILED A CASE WITH THE POST OFFICE REGARDING THIS MATTER!!! I ASLO HAVE A CASE ON FILE WITH THE HOUSING AUTHORITY FOR CARPETING AND PAINT WHICH I'M ENTITLED TO. THE CARPETING WAS OLD WHEN I MOVED IN IN 2003. I HAVE A STATEMENT ON FILE REQUESTING THAT NO STAFF NOT LICENCED/CERTIFIED OR DOCUMENTED IS TO ENTER MY APARTMENT. ALSO, I REQUESTED TO KNOW WHO IS ENTERING MY APARTMENT AND FOR WHAT AHEAD OF TIME. ALL TENANTS WHOULD HAVE THIS PUT IN WRITING AS I DID. THIS WAY, PARK WILSHIRE WILL HAVE TO GET SKILLED, LICENCED, CERTIFIED AND DOCUMENTED WORKERS WHICH WOULD INSURE legit WORK TO BE PERFORMED!!! WE PAY FOR legit WORK, WHEN NEEDED, EVERY MONTH WHEN WE PAY THE RENT. don't LET mgmt PUSH YOU AROUND!!! I WILL GO THE DISTANCE WITH THEM TO GET WHAT I'M ENTITLED TO AND YOU SHOULD TOO!!! THIS PLACE SUCKS PUTTY BALLS!!!!!!! NOT WORTH THE MONEY!!!!!!!f

If you know What's best you will rent somewhere else. Yeah this place is nice, I was sold right away but what they don't tell you is that this place is over 50% full of bed bugs and that people are moving out because of that and on top of that they are renting those bed bug infested apartments without treating them and then the manager has the audacity to tell you that you brought them in and that they will treat out of courtesy but that they are not need to to and that you should practice better hygine! Ridiculous!!! STAY AWAY AND don't RENT @ Park Wilshire.

I don't know where to begin .. But please if you are trying to move in this building please do your research BED BUGS BED BUGS BED BUGS ;/ I have been staying in this Apartments since last January and my encountered with bed bugs was about 4 months ago at first I thought they were mosquitos but actually caught one CRAWLING UP my leg and had a rainfall of bites on my back they were extremely ITCHY and SWOLLEN , I reported and informed the bug infestation with mgmt but they said they would look into it ???? About 4 weeks later they had some random man barely sprayed Appartment but that just made it worst , it looked like they bothered by spray so they came out even more. I asked neighbors that have been living in this building and they said that many units moved out because of BED BUG INFESTATION AND ROACHES , PARK WILSHIRE Is registered on BEDBUGREGISTRY.COM LOOK IT UP and even tho they haven't been reports in some time I am dealing with the loss :( I had to get rid of my brand new furniture that I worked so hard for and most of my clothes are being thrown again . I'm in the process of moving out this building but on top of being mentally drained and physically exhausted I gotta deal with mgmt being disloyal and not helpful cause they don't tell people they have problems with bugs once they sign lease and on top they don't want to give me my entire deposit back and want me to pay for June's rent when the place isn't HABITABLE AND SANITARY. Last week couldn't take another night in Auite so I'm in credited debt cause I already spent 1800 dollars on airbnb rentals :/ again guys do your research stay away from this headache.

Moved out as soon as new Midwood mgmt came in. People in office stay inside all day, no customer service skills. Neighbors told me of abuse within maintenance men. Environment felt nasty. Broperty going down hill until they tear it down. How else do they expect to fix pipe issues

I lived in Park Wilshire from 6/07-2/08 and I'm not looking back with fond memories. location-wise, it's terrible. There'sn'thing by it, no grocery stores or restaurants; its definitely not a easy place to live. We had cockroach problems in our Alat. It seemed to persist even after bug traps were laid and all food was carefully monitored to make sure nothing was left open in the cupboards or around the trash can. There was often a high pitched ringing noise in the lobby that would reach the third or fourth floor. And the fire alarm would often go off. Probably the worst of all is that I moved four months ago and just yesterday did I receive any sort of deposit. I'm disgusted with the check they sent me because out of my $800 deposit it appears that I got $60. We left the place undamaged and clean except for the kitchen sink that had overflowed two days before our move out date. I'm going to call them right now because their was no itemized list of why they deducted so much. Please look for an Alat elsewhere. You've got many other apartments for about the same price that are much better.

Oh, my. This place is terrible. Too many criminals live here and the leasing agent loves to let them in. She has been catering to them for too long. I can't begin to describe all of the crime that has happened this year; sexual assaults, burglaries, working girls all over the Bacility, fires, car break ins, tenants losing their minds and destroying the Bacility. It feels like a halfway house for newly released felons (You've got plenty living here) and an insane asylum. My neighbor hasn't paid rent since the beginning of Covid in March 2020 and they can't get them to leave because It's a rent controlled Bacility. Also, the people in the office never answer the phones or return emails. Lashelle rarely opens the door on Saturdays when she works alone and she is playing with her puppy. The tenants are next level crazy. They wander the halls like scenes out of the Walking Dead. They steal everything that isn't glued down. They are aggressive and beat people up for being near them. It's really like a prison atmosphere. I have seen men playing dice and auctioning off young women to the highest bidder.

First off this is the worst place to live, Eduardo the manager is the biggest liar. He will never fix anything wrong in your apartment. You will never get a parking space in the back of the apartment. You will constantly overpay for more things in the apartment then they state in the beginning. The female manager is the rudest, worst then Eduardo! The place is always grimy, full of dog droppings, people let their dogs poop all over and they never clean it up. They throw their food and trash everywhere. The managers don't CARE! as long as they get their renters in there, they don't care. They told my niece who wanted to rent an apartment, they'd allow her to have her Pit bull dog but not her child! Okay, There's alot of families in those apartments with children; who hit the cars, ride skate boards, bikes and run in the halls. The place is a filthy mess and as for the security guard who is supposed to be watching the door. He sleeps all the time or has his friends over and eats pizza and drinks beer all night with them. As for the Bed bugs and Roaches the place in totally infested. Stay away from this place if you can avoid it. They will take money from you, never fix your apartment and lie to your face. Rude immature managers. The owners of this building would do better business if they get rid of these two managers and get someone in there who could actually do a decent job. THe place is a Hell Hole...I know I live there...
