This place was fine for my first place in LA. BUT honestly make this YOUR LAST LAST LAST option. I don’t want to speak Bad of anyone but the new management wasn't good at helping me when I had a violent neighbor literally who just moved in. Also a bum wondered in one time and was asleep in the laundry room. And they would always shut the water off without notice. And the hot water heater was broken once for about a week and half and that’s NOT me exaggerating. LITERALLY that long.

DO NOT MOVE INTO THIS BUILDING !!!!!! New management HAS NOT fixed the roaches, bed bugs, and MICE LURKING THIS PLACE. If I had known this I would have NOT MOVED HERE! THIS BUILDING SHOULD BE THE LAST OPTION BEFORE LIVING ON THE STREET. Consider yourself warned.

Moved from north cal to LA found this place on Craigslist they approved me super fast and I moved right in . At first I loved it I was so excited to be living in terms big city ... then things starting happening .. this is an older building a new York style I would say but it has so many issue with the water. There was a time I didn't have hot water for almost 7 days straight . I literally had to boil water on the stove and take baths . I always eat out and I don't e en buy groceries but I have seen roaches . I thought one night I was seeing things but I realized it was a mice . Me personally I have never had an issue with bed bugs thank god but I have heard tenants in other apartments tell me horror story's . This place has a lot of unit and has 2 washer and dryers each foe the entire building and they are the old kind . I have seen caution signs for water pipes bursting a few times downstairs . The water had been shut off from emergency repairs I don't even know how many times . For a while they wouldn't even give notice ! It would just be off it started to just become a normal thing for me .. " oh the waters off again " ... I had all new appliances when I moved in and 3 nice sized closers for a studio It was great . No ac just a heater on the floor . There is no parking here for rentals and good luck finding parking on the street !!! I have to lark over 4 blocs away on the main street Vermont and take an Uber home all the time . If you do find parking on the street beware your car may just be starched up but someone parking probably less than 5 inches away from your car . Smells like urine out side big old rat traps on the side of the building . I don't even know why the front door on the building locks . It's always left proper open so any one can just come and go as they please . I wouldn't really recxomnd moving here . Unless your really on a buget and you can't find anywhere else .. Like anywhere lol .

Beware of this apartment complex. It is ful of bedbugs mice roaches and termites. The year and a half that I lived there the owners / new management company have not fixed this problem. Also upon moving and they will charge you for things wrong in the apartment they did not fix upon you moving in to the building. When you call to speak with people they owner they will not return calls. They are truly thieves.

This property was recently sold to a new owner in October 2014. Now very professionally managed. Even an emergency number to call late at night if an emergency happens. Can see lots of deferred maintenance being repaired by the new owner. Looking forward to the continued improvements.

Bedbugs. Bedbugs. Bedbugs. And horrible management. I have been living here for a year and I can't wait to leave. Honestly I want to begin by saying I truly love this building for its look and amazing view outside my window. I love that it's pet friendly and most (not all) of the neighbors are pretty nice and to themselves. But I warning you, the place is a pest hotel. Since it's an older building it's understandable that it will come with roaches and mice... And even bedbugs I suppose. But my biggest problem here is the way the building management handles the entire situation. Both manager and building owner are nasty. They will try to blame you and accuse you of not keeping your apartment clean. (Mind you their pest problem is an outgoing problem. Read other reviews) They are rude and expect you to work around their schedule. Manager is not considerate of you or your work schedule whatsoever and is always snooping around. They do not give 24hr notice when. Usually they tell you the night before if they need to enter or fumigate. The maintenance people are very kind but do not clean up after themselves if they work in your apartment. And lastly, you can forget about having a car... Parking is absolutely horrible, but that actually has nothing to do with the building. This place has coast me my bed, couch and other furniture. I wish they would have warned me about the bed bugs. I can't wait to leave. As much as they want to gentrify the building... You can't put glitter on turd and call it gold... Good luck future tenants.

I moved in because I was desperate for a place and my credit is lousy. I didn't think the place was terrible at first because the manager was very nice and accommodating. However, his nice personality only goes so far. Parking is always a nightmare if you come home anytime after 6pm. The apartment itself is ridden with bugs. I had a bed bug problem and a cockroach problem and the landlord did nothing. The electricity would go out from time to time if you had too many things plugged in (for instance, a space heater and the microwave running at once). My neighbors were rude and loud even after numerous complaints to the landlord. Overall, I am glad to be moving OUT!

Landlord real nice but usually unavailable; this isn't his primary job. Large build with 48 units, so maybe he's busy, but I haven't heard from him in over 3 weeks regarding fumigation. Didn't notice the pests before I moved in, but now I feel I've made a bad choice moving here as the roaches run ramped day in and day out!He wont answer my calls, letters, or texts, so I had to pay for fumigation myself. 1 year lease is unfortunate. Also, be prepared for the loud Mexican music and neighbors early, especially weekends.
