There seem to be claims of a management change since I lived here, but it looks like it's still run by HMMY Management, which is the same management that ran it when I lived here. Besides all of the issues with living conditions, which have already been addressed in the reviews below (my main issue was the constant smell of dog pee in the elevator and hallway), the biggest one is simply the management's penny pinching. They make you pay a huge security deposit up front (mine was over $2000 for a 2-bedroom, and I've never paid that much since, even for higher priced apartments), and I'm giving you a heads up that you'll never see your money again. I kept my apartment in pretty good shape and when I moved out, they charged me a decent amount for cleanup and repairs: landlords generally charge quite a bit here, which is to be expected and that's not my complaint. HMMY Management subtracted these charges from my security deposit and they still owed me over $1300, which they promised to pay. The first few times I called them, they called me back and said they'd be writing me a check any day now. They never did, and then they simply stopped responding to me. You've been warned.

What ever you do DO NOT MOVE HERE!!! It's really unsafe and managed horribly. Every night around 12am the tranny prostitutes get into the building and go into the stairwell to shoot up and have sex. At any given time you will find in our hallways: Needles, used condoms, fake fingernails, underwear, lube, human feces, urine, crack pipes, belts, bedding, clothes and suitcases. There is dog poo smeared into the carpet in most of the hallways from residents letting their dogs poo in the hallway. They just recently started construction that will last til 2014 so no sleeping past 8am, never being able to open your windows or use your balcony due to loud equipment and debris. Also 4 cars have been robbed, windows shot out and everything taken by crackheads since I've lived here and I've only lived here for almost 3 months!!! The apartment management lied to me telling me there would be no construction near my apartment but they got me!!! They offer no compensation for the 10 more months I'm stuck on this construction site. They will not let me out of my lease because they can't rent it now because of the construction being so loud. What ever you do not not rent here. UPDATE! The "manager" replied on the posting about new management indeed saying there was new management. Well here are their names just in case... The "New" Manager ------------------ ------------------------------ along with ---------. ---------- is the son of the owner ---------. Him and his little team of buddies do not know how to run an apartment complex. They are incompetent people that do not care about their tenants, only money! Also after getting a tenants association started in the building, We have forced the management to address the prostitution ring in our building. After many months of complaints and treating to sue if anyone were to get hurt we finally got a security guy. But let me tell you this guy is not a security guard. He doesn't have a guard card all he does is mop the floor down stairs and leave.

The new management is worse than the previous management/landlord. The current landlord is the son of the last landlord who was really bad too. These "new" people took over the building last year, not this year as they state on here. They lie to your face smiling and acting nice. They don't give a damn about tenants and ask tenants not to talk to other tenants about problems in the building as they want to hide all the problems and keep you from doing anything about it. It is not safe, they will create problems for you and never care about any safety or other issues you have. They just care about stealing your money. They keep a bunch of losers around who are loud, disruptive all day, fight with neighbors constantly and are a constant nuisance so that the other tenants move out early and lose their deposit, etc. Many have moved out because of them time after time. That place is an unsafe, disrespectful frat house with a bunch of criminals and idiots who live there. Everyone who can moves out soon after moving in. Don't trust those people unless you want to lose your sanity and your hard earned money to a bunch of selfish, incompetent, uncaring, twenty somethings as landlord/management.

This place is run by a bunch of incompetent liars. They do all kinds of crap behind your back and pathologically lie to tenants. The old landlord was Abe Hecht and he was a horrific landlord not caring about tenants. His son Eric took over last year, not this year as they stated, and is just as bad if not worse. The manager is his best friend and the office girl all are mid 20s and have no business running an apartment building. There is a high turn around because they don't care about tenants, just collecting the rent and will make your life miserable in a really crappy, unkempt building with crazy tenants fighting constantly, being loud, stealing, etc. They will lie to get you in and you are screwed. Just a warning.

The owners/management try to screw you over left and right, lie constantly and almost every tenant hates living there and moves out. You can see the proof of them having a high turnover rate. Believe all the bad reviews. Don't rent from these people or you will regret it and end up moving back out anyway like I did.

Police visits nearly daily, pet noise all the time, terribly kempt, shady workers. There are much better locations around this area who take care of their tenants way better. This building was damaged in 1994 from a large earthquake and is barely standing. Worst laundry room ever. Avoid.

I lived in this building cause it made my commute easier and I liked it. I got a parking spot, which they moved a few times on me, but that wasn't such a big deal. The halls on each floor are a little dark and could use some fixing up, but my apartment was clean and bright and had what I needed (huge -- I mean HUGE -- closet). Maintenance was pretty on top of things and the managers always heard me out when I had a problem. Recommend.

I don't believe any good review here could have been posted by anyone other than the management office. This place would not return my deposit after they rented me an apartment that was not the one I actually got. The floor was slanted and they said 'oh that must be from an earthquake" secondly the view was not at all the view promised. Listen to other reviewers and stay away far far away! I did not move into this place because it was obviously bad news. They did not give me back my whole deposit, they took $300 of it and then it took me months to get back any of it!

Honestly, I love living here. It has secured parking, allows any pet and everyone is so nice. The management are so friendly and helpful as well. The area is great too; It's safe and it's close to everything. (Target, grocery stores, Best Buy and restaurants too.)

ok, I used to live in this building. The management SUCKS!!!! First of all, --- is an -----. Second of all, ---------------- they are both unknowledgeable -------, they never do anything right. They tell new tenants all the wrong things, and as soon as they sign a lease or whatever, this --- guy comes and tells you things that these ---------- ------- tell you about this apartment. This place rips off everybody. I got ripped off by them. When I moved out, I got charged for something that I never did. Swear, this places should collapse soon, and all the management team shod go to hell. They are always renting, and you should never even go there to take a look at there vacancies. Like I said, they will rip you off all the way through.
