This is a cool complex right off of sunset blvd. Most of the problems are circumstantial as it is so closely located to hollywood and highland. The area is always questionable. There are bums, and hookers out at all times of the night. And not even regular hookers, transexual hookers!!!! What the hell. In addition parking is horrible. I had to follow my girlfriend on most nights 2 or 3 blocks over in my car so that she didn't have to walk 20 minutes. The manager is very cool though. She tries but it seems like she was a pawn of the management company. After we moved in it was goodbye manager and hello big ol' KMK Management Company. The problem with KMK is that they will kick you out of your apartment in like 3 days if you don't have your rent, but they take weeks with repairs. It doesn't make any sense to me. Overall the layout of the apartments is great. The bedrooms are seperated and you have all the privacy in the world. We also didn't have any problems with our appliances. The apartment is so close to the strip that your cab rides will always be under $10.00. We moved here right out of college and loved it for about a year. After we grew up and got jobs, the apartment got old. TIME TO MOVE ON...... Every year they raised the rent by $50. I'm uncertain if there is any rent control in the area, but it didn't seem like it.
