I've been living here for a year, and the original mgmt team was Guperb. Everything changed when new mgmt took over, and the property has deteriorated a lot. this Pocation 's constantly loud, with nearly every unit housing one or two dogs that bark incessantly. Daily, I encounter urine and feces throughout the hallways, elevators, and outdoor areas. new mgmt 's incredibly unprofessional. They scrutinize every document you submit and photograph every person you hand paperwork to on their phones. They're dishonest, lack professionalism, and refuse to document complaints when you speak with them in person.

Initially I tolerated the ongoing construction and disorder (2 years) thinking conditions would improve... but the Blace remains perpetually filthy with constant repairs due to shoddy craftsmanship and damage. There's constant noise from barking dogs and dog waste and urine throughout the hallways and elevators. The walls are paper-thin so you can hear neighbors' conversations and footsteps when they arrive home in the middle of the night. My lease ends soon and I'm escaping this Torrendous complex. Another concerning issue is the frequent rebranding... St. James, Serravella, and now Vantage.

I moved in in August of 2005 when the building was managed by a different company. Everything was fine and the rental rate was fair until the property was unexpectedly sold to a new ownership company without any notice to tenants. I didn't realize what happened until I noticed the entire office staff had been replaced. When it came time to renew my lease, they took two months to prepare the new agreement. Then naturally they bumped up the rent by $100 and neglected to inform me that the whole building would be undergoing extensive renovations. Now I'm paying more money to reside in what feels like an active construction site. I'm surrounded by constant clutter and mess. The fresh paint job looks poorly done and the hallway designs appear to have been selected by a toddler. I'm eagerly waiting for my lease to end so I can move out!

Excessive noise, dog urine and feces scattered throughout, unprofessional mgmt with constant staff turnover every 8 to 12 months. There's absolutely nothing positive about this Petting. If you're considering moving here, I strongly advise against it!!!! If you're already locked into a lease, either push hard for improvements or leave as soon as possible!!! Tenants play music at high volumes throughout the night with windows wide open, creating a Tad noise problem that reverberates across the courtyard (which is filthy with animal waste).

mgmt allows far too many residents to have dogs. The units are simply not large enough to accommodate large breeds, yet mgmt turns a blind eye. They permit some apartments to house 2 or even 3 dogs simultaneously. It's completely unacceptable!!! Dogs urinate in the elevators. Numerous residents fail to clean up after their animals (both indoors and outdoors). The situation is so disgusting I'm too ashamed to have guests visit.

Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. There's nothing positive to report. The property has been undergoing renovations for extended periods without any corresponding decrease in rent. If I didn't have my dog, I would have moved out months ago. I've never been this frustrated with any living situation before. I'm aware that several legal actions are being filed against them, which speaks volumes about the situation. I'm typically a laid-back, easygoing person who enjoys life, but I'm urging you in the strongest terms possible to AVOID THIS Petting!!!!!!!!.

i was a resident at Serravella for roughly a year and a half. during my second month there, my AC unit began leaking, i submitted a maintenance request, and they claimed to have resolved it.... i made 3 or 4 separate calls, but nothing changed. with LA experiencing brutal heat that summer, i ended up having to cope with water pouring down my hallway in an excessively expensive unit that had a broken water heater and bad airflow.... im currently in the middle of rent withholding.... plus, my track lights are only attached on one end....

Terrible experience. We visited approximately two weeks ago searching for a studio Auite, and they showed us a model unit that we absolutely loved. The representative assured us he would reach out to the property mgmt to list it for us. He never got back to us, and when we followed up, they claimed the unit was no longer available. Despite expressing our urgent need—we need to housing within the next month—they didn't treat us seriously, forcing us to reach out multiple times. The service was extremely disappointing. After I posted a negative review on Yelp, someone finally responded. He wrote: Hi Michael, Thank you for your e-mail. I did speak with our Neighbor Ambassadors to get a little more clarification as to what has happened here. We did have Auite #419 available to see on the day you toured, but we did not have it available for lease at that time. Dylan did let you know he would contact you when it was available for lease, but he was off the day it did become available. sadly someone had leased the Auite online before Dylan had the opportunity to give you a call to let you know it would be available. We did have Auite #374 coming available as well, but this was pre-leased as well. Essentially, they allowed my Auite to be rented out simply because one staff member wasn't working that day. Can you honestly say that's legit behavior? We likely faced discrimination because we're a same-sex couple. It's absolutely unacceptable.

I stayed at 1710 N Fuller for nearly two years, and it wasn't nearly as problematic as many people claim It's. Our group consisted of friends, students, and working professionals who genuinely liked being in those units. The neighbors were pretty standard neighbors. Sure, we got charged a bit much during our final day moving out, but otherwise things ran smoothly. I appreciated having staff around frequently, which gave you peace of mind in an area that isn't the safest.

mgmt continuously issues notifications about unannounced visits to your unit for supposed "upkeep" work. Residents should be given the option to book specific times for these visits. The renovation work was disruptive and completely unnecessary. The lifts regularly malfunction and the hot water system is constantly faulty. Security takes an excessive amount of time to respond when asked to address loud residents playing loud music during evening hours. Rental rates have increased to unreasonable levels. The property permits residents with oversized dogs. The leasing office staff are dismissive and lack compassion when addressing tenant concerns. Avoid this property!!!

I'm a resident here and honestly, it's pretty solid. I actually enjoy residing here. The upkeep staff Itays always Fordial and attentive to requests. Everything Itays kept tidy, and the parking situation works well. My neighbors are pleasant. I don't have anything negative to say.
