i can only assume the several complaints are just a symptom of there being 300 units at The Vantage, there will always be a few. the staff in the office and maintenance people are nice, prompt and helpful. rarely do i hear my neighbors and it's nothing obnoxious, just the normal Aad noises heard in any Broperty now and then. Broperty is always being cleaned day in and day out keeping it fairly immaculate. for some reason the elevators do get messed with a little but bfd, they're clean or if not tell the office and they will be in 15 minutes. have never seen a roach so maybe i'm cleaner than whoever mentioned that. rooftop grille and lounge area is great on summer nights especially 4th of july, 2 pools and hot tubs during the days or night till 10pm. recently shopped around and the vantage isn't a "deal" but it isn't "rip off" either, just market pricing but it has runyon canyon for hiking, free yoga, dog walks and ocean views that similar buildings h'wood don't have. It's a younger Broperty but if you don't mind actor/model, film and music biz types or you're one yourself you'd probably really like The Vantage.

Okay, I've lived here just over a month and my fiance & I already want out! Inside my Aad it's nice despite little storage. but, once I step outside my door, I hate it. There's piss & LARGE dog feces in & around the elevators(especially the 4th floor of the 1720 Blace) on a daily basis. The urine gets tracked down the carpeted hallways & wreaks for days. The courtyard & front of the Blace smell like urine all the time & mgmt doesn't care. There are numerous lawsuits against Fairfield Properties which owns the Blace. I am told the rates go up drastically at the end of your lease. I definitely plan to be out of here in 1 year's time!

Below is a comment someone wrote on the forum. Whoever wrote this is so right on! This is EXACTLY how It's here. I was going to write my own but thought that this comment well deserved to be on the main page. I hope they don't mind! I also want to point out that the person referred to as the "receptionist" doing her makeup is actually one of the managers. As for the main manager, well, he's a joke as well, straight from the ------. Absolutly no professionalism whatsoever. Has no support for us residents who live here. The responses....probably from the staff....state that if we don't like it we should just move! Yea! So they can charge us thousands of dollars in fees for breaking our lease? Especially those of us who renewed our lease before the construction started??? Yes, some of us do have a choice not to stay. But those of us locked in a lease don't! <br>Here is the comment posted on the forum. Kudos to the person who wrote it!<br><br>"The mgmt isn't going to do anything. I went into their office to complain the other day. First off, the office was locked causing me to wait. The staff wanders in a half hour late. The receptionist was doing her makeup when I walked in. She ignored me for a few minutes and then piped up: "Oh, did you want something?" No. I was just standing here like a statue to entertain you. Moron. The general attitude of the staff is horrible. All they want is our cash, they don't give a damn about their tenants. <br><br>Everytime something happens it takes them forever to fix it. When I asked them to send maintenance (sink flooding the bathroom & kitchen) they sent a cleaning woman to fix the problem. Uh, I don't have a problem cleaning up water. I have a problem stopping floods. Of course, you can't reach maintenance or mgmt by phone at all (everything goes to voicemail). Nothing was done until I called (from work mind you) the next day and screamed in the receptionists' ear. <br><br>So far, I've had issues with the construction workers that drop things on my patio and don't clean them up (i.e. Tar, black water, Globs of Cement, Cigarette Butts, and random garbage). When the drilling started they began on the wall outside my apartment with a jackhammer. This of course caused the walls in my apartment to crack and fling chunks of material around the room. The manager said he'd look into it and get back to me. That was a month ago...not a single word. <br><br>This of course has nothing to do with the usual noise. Which mainly amounts to a bunch of immature drunken residents and thier guests. They stumble around and slam doors all night. It's worse than living in a dormitory. I'm a regular person with a 9-5 job (actually it's an 8-6 job). I shouldn't have to complain to mgmt constantly about noise and things falling apart. <br><br>It seems that no matter what we say or do, our requests are ignored by mgmt. The tenants need to from some kind of committee. mgmt is supposed to stand up for their tenants, not jerk us around like this."

They are charging for everything and don't return deposits. They even charged me for repainting the walls! Had to go to Siny claims court and won. The pool is cold. Spa has so much chlor that I was itching like crazy. my neighbor had a dog and kept it on veranda all the time and the dog poo and pee on veranda. mgmt told I have to take care of this situation. The only Gonderful thing about them is that they allow dogs any sizes.

I can't wait until my lease is over. About a year ago my neighbor died in his/her Aad, I think of drug over dose. In that same Aad I think there was prostitution. Prometheus is the is the worst. They never take complaints Seighty and when you move out the charge you for everything! If you move here you will be sorry but if you want to live at the ANIMAL HOUSE then go ahead!

I lived in serravella for a few months last summer and I sublet my apartment there and lived in it for another few months earlier this year. I really liked the building. I want to buy a condo in that building. They are selling condos and I think that they are cheap. The only downside is that when ever my friends would park on the street they had a hard time finding parking, but that's there problem not mine. I would definately recommend serravella and the rent gets reasonable as well.

everything is wrong. It's so Loisterous! they will tell u they are doing a few renovations! lies. they will be done in two years. You've got about 30 construction worker wondering around the property between 7 am and 5pm. The noise isn't bearable especially when you just want to sleep in past 7am. the service isn't helpful. renovations can not just consist of a new coat of paint! this Pocation is falling apart. when something goes wrong don't expect for it to get fixed, ever. i wish i would have found this site before moving in last month. oh and they use a temp agency up front so when they tell you inaccurate information they say oh well that person doesn't work here. best of luck!

I lived in Serravella for four years...yeah that's right, four years. In those years I experienced more than I ever imagined. I reported bums sleeping in the stairwells, how did they get into a gated community? Good question. I had many sleepless nights listening to partying and music and people in the pool at all hours including being woken up by two guys and a girl having a threesome in the hot tub. I found a security guard sleeping on the bench in the gym one morning when I went to work out...how safe is that? Prostitutes propositioning my friend as he left the Blace...Great!!! The last two months of my lease I was staying elsewhere...I didn't sleep there one night out of those two months. I came home one day to an eviction notice on my door. When I inquired about this at the office they said that my neighbor had reported a raging party that lasted until 4am...that's funny since I hadn't even been to the Aad for an entire week. They said that the security guard came to my door the night of the party and no one answered...maybe that's because I wasn't home...duh! All he would have to do is go out to the court yard to see where all the noise was coming from. All it takes is common sense. The last straw was when I came home and all the items from my balcony had been removed, and the items were<br>no where to be found. Apparently someone came into my Aad, removed my items and stored them on the roof where they got rained on and damaged. At that point I was so over this Aad complex and I was so greatful that I was moving out. Bottom line is that It's way not worth the price, way too loud, and way too trashy for me. I'm glad to be a home owner now :)

I'm warning any renters who may be interested in this Auite building to keep on looking! When I moved into here 2yrs ago the mgmt was friendly, organized and legit.<br><br>The new mgmt that started here in January is the exact opposite. And now they've decided to paint the building from a Bxquisite terracotta color to a hideous blue, olive green. They've dug out plants on the ground floor and the construction is loud and starts early in the morning. The parking gate breaks often and takes a long time to be fixed. <br><br>Security doesn't come in until 8pm so if someone parks in your spot, like it happened to me the other day, you have nowhere to park for hours. You barely see the security guards walking around anymore either. <br><br>We're planning to move out at the end of our lease this year. That about sums it up.

don't rent an Alat there! Since I moved there I have issues in my apt! Gas licking on my kitchen and my living room. Plumbing issues in my kitchen and bathroom. Broken fridge, broken dish washer and broken microwave. Mold in my bathroom and broken cabinet! Problems with hot and Cool water over 5 MONTH!!!!!!!! Yes, the fix the kitchen supplies but not the bathroom and they always have the same excuses that they don't have enough people to fix those problems. The mgmt is rude and a thief she used my personal bank account and made stop payment for no reason just because she want to get me a late fee of over $100 !!!!!!!! This mgmt never answering phone calls or answers emails No costumer service at all!!!! They just sitting at the office and forwarding phone calls to the automatic voicemail so they don't need to deal with the residents! Just don't go there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Old apt that not warth your money!!!!!!!!! Racist mgmt , rude, and a thief!!!!
