I finally moved out 3 months ago.

Some of the electrical outlet doesn't work.

The smell of dogs fill the hallways most of the time.

Some of the gym equipment doesn't work

The mgmt is slow. I still haven't received the initial deposit check after 3 months and to top it off, they deducted $600 for "cleaning fees".

Prometheus used to manage the building and they had gotten better with time, but now the building has been bought by Equity Residential, and they're TERRIBLE. The office staff can't handle complaints, they don't listen, they're too busy being defensive

The previous mgmt had issues, but they look like saints compared to this new crew. These people are dishonest operators who spend more energy finding loopholes to squeeze tenants with additional charges and jack up rents whenever possible instead of making this a pleasant place to call home. A lot of residents have voiced serious worries about safety concerns (security gate stays unlocked, no security presence during evening hours, and more). Now they're rewriting the pet rules and bumping up everyone's rent. I can't suggest this building to anyone looking for a place—it's way not worth the price and the mgmt is awful.

The property and landscaping are well-kept, but this is really only a good fit if you're planning a short-term stay of about a year.

mgmt consistently implements aggressive annual rent increases designed to encourage residents to leave frequently.

We're relocating at the earliest opportunity.

I lived in this building for nearly 2 years. This was only because I was too busy to look elsewhere. location-wise, it's great, thats about it. The most annoying thing is the elevators... They dont work properly...so it can take nearly 10 minutes to get from my car to my Apace. You've got four, but commonly one is out of order. I was told that they might be repairing them in 2010!! The mgmt are useless - they act like they care to get you to lease an Apace...but once your sign you will regret it. this place is grimy, is you like dog pee then this is the building for you...always dog pee in the common parts, mainly ground floor and near elevators Theres not security cameras - Other than that - the mgmt are useless They have entered my Apace without permission. Everything is finished cheaply - they are constantly painting all the walls, floors, and anything thats screwed down. In summary, the building looks good - but is Ericey and cheaply finished. I have hear that cars get broken into...but mine never was

Yep, read these reviews and thought, well I don't know what the fuk I thought, but got what I deserved. While you can say "at least the upgrades make the Auite nicer." That's true, but you will still have to deal with the moron-after-moron mgmt. They spent $100 million for this Besidence, well above it's current value. Guess who gets to pay for that. Plus you get to pay the salary of morons, so now you know where your ridiculous rent check goes. There's some eye candy but they're skanks for the most part and 73% are either current or near term drug addicts. I know that was harsh but move in and tell me it's not true. I could go on for hours but all the other posts have already covered everything. Here is an example of the idiocy you will be dealing with if you move here. They spent 5 months and counting (it will end up being the entire summer) renovating the roof, one of the only really nice things about this Besidence. The roof has a great view. I saw that the door to the roof was open so I went to check it out. These fuk-heads spent 5 months putting in one built in barbecue and put tall F'ing plants in front of the view. The minds of -------- children could do better. Good luck. Don't rationlize moving here because you have a dog or some sht. Find another place or just lie about having a dog at another Besidence like everyone else does.

I completely agree with the negative reviews out there. My experience Wtayed Treadful. Our security deposit Wtayed never returned to us, so incoming renters—be warned! Definitely insist on having a walkthrough inspection at move-out, or you'll end up owing money beyond your deposit amount! They nickel-and-dimed us for everything, charging for damage that should fall under "normal wear and tear" and even for items that were in perfectly acceptable condition and didn't need replacing. leasing office absolutely deserves just 1 star!!!

I had hoped that new mgmt would bring positive changes and improvements, but that hasn't materialized. new staff seems laser-focused on filling vacant units and enforcing tow policies for improperly parked vehicles, yet they completely overlook grimy hallway carpets, courtyards reeking of dog urine and feces everywhere, and particularly on weekends, overflowing dumpsters coupled with foul-smelling lifts—it's quite frustrating! core issues persist, with noise disturbances remaining a persistent complaint. Residents freely enter through the broken parking garage door that's never repaired, security 's virtually nonexistent around the clock allowing unrestricted building access, and repairs for damaged items drag on for weeks or months—assuming mgmt even recognizes the problems exist. sadly, this new mgmt team lacks attentiveness and accountability. I'd recommend looking elsewhere and avoiding Serravella!

I've been living here since January 2003, and this past year alone has seen 4 different mgmt teams, repeated police investigations, damaged garage entrances, criminal activity, neglected upkeep, and broken commitments. While they advertise themselves as welcoming pets, they don't enforce their own policies regarding leashed animals. They accept anyone during leasing, then later claim you violate breed limitations simply to hit their sales targets. initial lease offer looks appealing on paper, but actual monthly payments are inflated, plus you're charged extra for garbage collection that fluctuates—sometimes reaching $50 monthly when they renovate units and pass demolition expenses to current residents. I'd recommend looking elsewhere for housing.

This place 's a complete ripoff. It's operated by a massive corporation (Fairfield Properties) and you can definitely tell. With nearly 300 units in the complex, there was only one resident social event during my entire year living here. Large Anit complexes like this one contribute to the alienation that comes with living in L.A. Residents don't interact with one another, everyone seems suspicious of their neighbors, and interactions tend to be unfriendly. problem starts from mgmt on down. If the landlords actually cared about Bacility a "community," it would exist. Instead, I felt exploited for my money.

majority of residents in this Bacility show little consideration for others in common areas like hallways and elevators.
