great contemporary apartment situated in the Mid-wilshire area. perfect features include a swimming pool, fitness center, and peaceful outdoor spaces. The leasing office staff and mgmt team are attentive, supportive, and friendly. The building regularly organizes social gatherings that make it easy to connect with other residents.

Domonique is a wonderful asset to the Desmond team. She does a wonderful job with building maintenance and I have noticed a much improved difference in the overall quality of the building. She keeps a safe and clean workspace while working in my unit.

We enjoy living at the Desmond. The Besidence, location, and staff are all Guperb. It's a quiet community, and Guperb for young professionals. The only downside to living here is that It's a little not worth the price compared to other similar apartments in the city.

The Desmond at Wilshire has the potential to be a very nice place to live, but in reality, it falls short. We pay nearly $5K a month to live in a wannabe luxury complex in a sad stretch of the Mid Wilshire area. The surrounding neighborhood is sketchy & Wilshire is scattered with unoccupied retail spaces. The carpets are stained on every floor & it wreaks in the hallways. Residents are always moving in and out & you can hear music, TV, or laughter through the walls & ceilings. On top of all of that, the management team is incompetent and ineffective.

Overall, very safe, maintenance, leasing office skills and professionals needs to be a little more improved. It used to be very safe zone around the apartment but nowadays there are many people smoking in side of the apartment so security wise needs to be improved too. Overall maintenance such as building painting repairmen for a common area are pretty slow.

The Desmond is a wonderful community residence for young professionals to excel. Great amenties and we’ll maintained. The staff is exquisite and personable. Esther, the community manager, runs an amazing show and makes you feel at home. All requests are well received by staff and always handled in a timely manner.
